SURVIVORS
Chapters 270. Fort or Prison?

Sunil darted quickly towards his friends. One by one they vanished into Sunil's storage room.

But the giant creature ran very fast. He was being chased by another creature behind him.

There was still Michael who kept brandishing his sword and turned his back to Sunil.

Not wasting any more time, Sunil streaked as fast as lightning grabbed Michael. Michael soon disappeared from his grasp. But, with that distance and speed, Sunil could no longer avoid colliding with the creature that was also running towards him.

"Akhich!"

Sunil's body hit the top of the creature's running legs. His body flung to the side. Sunil's eyes immediately guessed where he might land.

"Allen!" rutuk Sunil's. With all his might he deflected the direction of the fall.

Swuiiiie....

Sunil managed to avoid two other creatures that were biting each other. He flew exactly half a meter beside the wide open mouth of the creature about to bite its prey. Sunil then flew away.

"Oh my God...."

Sunil was busy arranging his heart beating like he was about to jump.

To avoid trouble, Sunil hovers higher. He left the killing arena. Jump to a point ahead of there.

Point I don't know what, he doesn't know. But that point gave a weak reflection response that could still be caught by his eyes.

Sunil was tired. He hasn't rested. But her little heart told her to keep going that way.

That place turned out to be very far away. Over half an hour Sunil flew. He could finally see. That small point was the old fortress building that still stood strong.

'Who built the fort here?' thought Sunil astonished.

What kind of civilization is able to survive side by side with the savage creatures around it?

A streak of light appeared on the horizon, surprising Sunil. It's early morning. And based on yesterday's experience, the morning is coming soon.

"Are Dean and Alan conscious?" sunil asked through the voice transmission, to the storage room.

"I'm already sober. But Alan may still need some time to recover" Dean said.

Sunil took Dean out.

"Let's see that fort. How do we get in there and take shelter?"

Dean's eyes saw the huge fortress unblinking. He approached. They then checked around while looking for the entrance.

"How come, a fortress was built without an entrance?" groused Sunil.

He's already exhausted. The sun will soon rise. They had no shelter from the fierce sun of this world.

"You rest first. Let me see the top."

Dean was aware of Sunil's situation. So he'll check the top of the fort by himself.

Dean's flying higher. This fortress is really high. Dean guessed, the height of the fort is about 100 meters. Maybe it was built this way so that the giant creatures of this world could not jump to enter it.

With the help of a little early morning light, Dean could finally see that the entire top of the fort was also tightly sealed. His forehead shriveled.

"How's their ventilation system?" mumbling wonder.

After inspecting the entire top of the fort and not finding a crack, Dean went down. He found Sunil who was resting. The man fell asleep while sitting cross-legged.

Dean grabbed a little sand with both hands. Try to find out which sensors might be applied on the outside. He sprinkled a little sand on the wall of the building.

Sure enough! There was a shadow of a luminous field as the sands hit it. Dean smiles.

"You can't fool me. Thinking only a solid building can survive the invasion of beasts here!" taunting Dean.

But Dean's smile soon disappeared. The thin transparent light earlier started to thicken. Surround the entire fort to the top. Dean could still realize that there were electric sparks all over the wall of light.

Dean soon realizes Sunil's sleeping position. Sunil quickly lifted up and floated away a little from the place.

"Hemmm. Could it be that the electric shock on the wall was able to take down the enemy?"

"What do you think?" dean asked Sunil.

Dean touched Sunil's necklace.

"How are things inside?" dean asked with a voice transmission.

"We're doing fine. Alan just woke up." Robert reporting.

Dean pulled Alan out.

"You pulled me without cue!" alan protest.

Dean ignored Alan. She took off Sunil's necklace and wore it around her neck. Then Sunil was put into the storage room.

"Now we both live. It's morning. So what do you think of the building?" ask Dean not to beat around the bush.

"What do you think this is?" Alan asked back.

"I agreed with Sunil. It looks like a solid fortress. I checked up to the top. The entire top was tightly closed. I doubted the first impression. But can't think of anything."

Dean was honest. Blank's mind. He couldn't figure out what this building was.

Alan nodded. He gave me an unexpected idea.

"What if this building turns out to be a prison?"

"Jail?!" Dean repeated.

"Who is imprisoned in this violent place?" muttered Dean.

"Prison with maximum security, only for heavyweight criminals!" said Alan.

Alan flew around the transparent wall whose electric spark was still grabbing it. Occasionally he touched the electric spark with his lightning eye. Then there will be a big sprinkling followed by a little explosion. Alan would enjoy the stun while laughing happily.

Dean shakes. Alan can play with the electric wall all day if not immediately reminded.

"Alane! We need to find shelter. It'll be noon soon!" dean from a distance.

He didn't want to be electrocuted or struck by lightning if he approached Alan.

"Alan!" yell Dean again. He's getting pissed.

"Who are you?"

Dean fell silent. A voice came into his head. It's a voice transmission.

"Did you hear that?" dean asked Alan who also stopped playing.

"Who are you?!" ask Alan.

"Your voice sounds very close. Are you near a tall building in the desert?" The voice was heard again.

"How do you know?" ask Alan again.

"I'm the occupant of this building" he said in a proud tone.

"Oh yeah? What was your mistake in being imprisoned in such a secluded place?" ask Dean to test.

"Ah, you two are. He. he..." The voice chuckled.

"What's so funny?" ask Dean.

"none. Just pity. Soon you'll both be grilled to death. Haha...."

"Suck!" alan's curse of emotion.

"Do you know how to get in there? We need shelter." Dean looked at the voice patiently.

"I can only let one of you in."

"Don't trick me. I've been checking out this whole building. There's no gap at all. Even on the roof. Everything is sealed," Dean said.

The sound stopped. A long silence for Dean and Alan.
