SURVIVORS
Chapters 185. Robert and Kang 2

Unconsciously, Robert fell asleep on his own. He woke up because his stomach was hungry. So Robert went out of the room. Kang is invisible. The doorway was also closed. But there's a plate of food on the table and a glass of water.

"Did I miss dinner together?" robert muttered.

"Yes already. Just eat. Maybe Kang's asleep." Robert sat down facing the stone table and began to enjoy his already cold dinner.

After eating, Robert didn't know what to do. The sleepiness is gone. But it's still dark outside. Kang doesn't exist either. Robert obviously could not climb up to see the atmosphere of the tomb at night.

Robert returned to his room. Exercise for a while then shower and go back to sleep.

The knock on the door woke Robert up.

"Yes." Yeah."

Robert was just about to wake up when Kang had already barged in with a beaming face. He pulled Robert's hand impatiently.

"What's wrong?" robert was confused.

Kang did not answer, but he immediately led Robert up to the door under the roof. They were finally outside. Next to the old unused temple.

Robert did not see any changes that might make Kang look so happy. That makes him even more confused.

"What the hell is it?" Robert could no longer hold back on asking.

Kang walked towards the boundary of the light wall that protected the tomb complex. Robert followed. It was then that he realized that there was a change in the weather in the forest out there.

A thin mist of magenta filled the air outside. The greenness of the leaves sometimes poking gives a contrasting color feel.

"Today I saw a fog like this. Is that dangerous?" ask Robert. Kang nodded.

"If it's dangerous, why do you look happy? Weird."

Robert could not understand Kang's way of thinking.

"So that's why you brought me back here? Let's keep? What about your cattle? Can it be safe just by closing the door?" Robert really doesn't understand.

Kang looked up at the sky above the temple. Robert also noticed what caught Kang's attention. Suddenly an extremely bright white light dazzled from the top of the temple roof. The light was like shooting away into the sky.

Robert was startled and reflexes turned around to avoid the ill effects of high intensity light on his eyes. But he could see how Kang did not turn away in the slightest. His globular eyes now look very bright, as bright as a white light that lasts for 3 seconds.

Shortly after that it rained quite hard. Dispelling all magenta fog.

Enthusiastically, Kang pointed to a place. Eyes twinkling. Robert looked there. Robert raised his eyebrows in disbelief.

"It's just Kang's rainbow. Only color bias appears after rain." Robert shook his head.

"Well, I guess what makes you so happy. Your game's not far away. So the color of the sea cucumber can make you so happy." Robert laughing.

But Kang didn't reply. He pulled Robert's hand.

"Where else are you going? Do you want to see the rainbow up close?" Temptation Robert.

Kang put his finger on Robert's forehead.

"Haha.. You're the one who still believes the fairy tale princess who came down with the rainbow?" Robert felt that it was the most absurd thing.

Kang pulls Robert's hand, takes him down underground.

"Ouch.ooh.wait. Not very impatient anyway," grumbled Robert who slid down quickly because pulled Kang.

Kang immediately opened the stone door on the wall. Running along the hallway. Robert followed Kang.

"Oh, wait!"

Robert shouted as he saw Kang had already reached the bottom door of the hut. Kang seemed impatient waiting for Robert who he judged too slow.

Kang shifted the stairs as soon as Robert walked out the door. He immediately darted up leaving Robert who was panting in breath.

"Crazy for power. What kind of man is he really?" robert muttered as he climbed the stairs.

In the cottage there was nobody. But the door was opened. At the door was a horse. Kang is not. Robert finally rode the horse provided.

"What the hell was he chasing so impatiently?" Robert grumbled to himself.

"Hey, horse. If you keep walking around like this, how can you catch up with Kang?" The horse was the target of Robert's scolding.

As if understanding Robert's intentions, the horse immediately sped up his run. His feet were creeping on the ground.

"Wow.. Do you understand what I'm saying?" Robert held on tight to the bridle.

Before long they reached near the cliff where they descended into the valley. Robert could see the beautiful rainbow colors from the direction of the valley. His forehead creased to find Kang crouching behind a tree. His eyes were straight towards the valley.

Robert approached.

"Kang, this behavior of yours is like someone who is peeping on a bathing woman. Where's your compassionate attitude been all this time?"

Kang shut Robert's mouth and pulled him to squat.

"Sstttt!"

Kang's eyes looked worried. Robert nodded. Kang then released the clot in Robert's mouth. He pointed in one direction. Robert's eyes followed the direction Kang was referring to.

Robert sat with his eyes round. That's really unbelievable.

"That's. that's.." Robert could not finish his words. But Kang nodded excitedly. His face was so happy.

After calming his heartbeat, Robert patted Kang on the shoulder.

"Hey, you're so stupid. I think they've been living there all along. Thousands of years, you're alone here. They're right there. Truly a waste of your time and youth."

"Well! You should've approached them a long time ago and given birth to a lot of children. Ctc! How can I have a friend who's a thousand years old but still a 10-year-old boy?"

Robert doesn't stop nagging.

"Let's go down and get acquainted" Robert asked. Kang's hand was drawn. But Kang refused.

"Hey, we're men. Can't be a coward. All this time you have to wait for the rainbow to see them from afar. So don't waste it." Robert tried to cultivate Kang's spirit.

"Come on. Let's go down first. Don't give up before you try." Robert pulled Kang's finger and placed it on his forehead, so that Kang could understand the meaning of his words.

"Come on."

Robert pulled Kang to his feet. Kang followed despite the obvious doubt in his eyes.

"Bring me down." Robert tried to come down and cut off the leaves. Kang looked at it with worry.

"Ah." Robert's leg slipped.

Kang grabbed Robert's hand. Rescue him before the body slid off uncontrollably.

Robert's uncomfortable position kept him moving. Destroying Kang's concentration and balance while tracing twigs and jumping. Eventually the two rolled at the foot of the cliff.

Robert's shout shocked the girls who were bathing in the clear river. They could see two people tumbling down on the cliff there, then stopping in a field of flowering.

One of the people moving wanted to help. But arrested by the others. They immediately packed up and left the place.

But one could hear a groan of pain before they moved away. He could not help his heart to help. The girl flew low and searched where the two men ended up.

"Oh, my leg is sprained. Kangs. Are you all right? Kang?"

Robert woke up with great difficulty. By crawling and enduring the pain, he searched around. He knew Kang wouldn't answer. Or this flower field can burn out.

"Ouch! Sshhhhhhh.." Robert hissed with the pain. Some of the vines had snared his injured leg.

"Kang, if you hear my voice, stay where you are. I'll look for you. Just a minute." Shouted Robert.

Robert sat on the ground, checking his legs.

"Ah, fuck! It hurts so much." Robert closed his eyes and lay down for a moment. His mouth kept on hissing in pain.

"Must be crushed and find wood for sticks." he murmured.

Robert opened his eyes. Instantly he was unable to move. His eyes flickered.

"Have I died and met an angel?" ask him to yourself.

Robert then closed his eyes.

Hallucinations. It was just a hallucination" he said reassuring himself. Then he got up from his lying position.

"Oh.what the fuck...?"

Robert rubbed his forehead which hit something. In front of him the girl he saw earlier also rubbed her forehead.

"You're not a hallucination? You're real?" ask Robert.

"Here I help. Tell me which part is sick?" A voice sounded in Robert's ear.

"Who is that? Don't talk near my ears" he said, looking back. But there's no one.

The girl in front of him snapped a finger in annoyance. He pointed at himself.

"I'm the one who's talking to you!" his eyes glared in annoyance.

"Huh? You're the one who spoke to my ear? Ah, ja. Almost forgot. Help me find Kang." Robert doesn't care.

"Kangs.. Kangs. How are you doing? Relax, I'll find you."

Robert crawled back to find Kang's whereabouts.

"Ck! It's useless." swearing the foreign girl in Robert's ear.

"Hey, don't go yet. Help me find my friend. You can fly." Shouted Robert.

'Fly? Did I meet the fairies again here?' inner Robert.
