As a result of yesterday's events, the rules changed this morning. The prisoners are not allowed to go out of the courtyard to sunbathe. But the cell door remained open.
The dining room became the gathering place of almost all prisoners. However Dean, Alan and Michael only gather in front of Alan's cell room after breakfast.
Eliminating boredom and disguising the discussion, the three men played a guessing game. The wrong one answered, his forehead was flicked.
The guard officer who saw the three of them playing a silly game while laughing and grimacing, could only shake his head. But for him, as long as there was no commotion between prisoners, then his guarding time was perfect.
"So how's Dean? When are we gonna run away?" ask Alan.
"Today is impossible. All the exits are locked" replied Dean.
"Has Robert and Sunil recovered?" ask Dean back.
Alan shook his head faintly. "Not yet."
"I was a little surprised, why General So did not fight back when Robert was bullied ...."
Michael and Dean don't understand either.
"Could it be that his soul hasn't fused with Robert yet?" guess Dean.
"Or maybe he's still traumatized. Haunted by the shadow of his previous death, who was also tortured?" Michael opens his voice.
"Or, who tormented him had the power to weaken the power of the soul of the nation of light?"
Alan's guess surprised Dean and Michael.
Dean looked towards his cell.
"Is that also why the holding cell was blocked? Is the silent prisoner also one of his people?" inner Dean.
"You wait here."
Dean walked casually towards his holding cell.
Inside there, an old man sat closed his eyes. Dean approached. He can't send a transmission message in this cell. So Dean touched the man's hand.
His eyes opened slowly. He knew Dean as a cellmate. But they never interact. He looked at the lazy Dean and pulled his hand a sign of not wanting to be disturbed.
Dean doesn't care. He held that hand and looked right into his eyes. A faint golden light appeared in Dean's eyes. The man was very surprised.
Dean's body immediately pulled him away from the door. The light in his eyes that glittered like diamonds. Dean was amazed to see it. The light was clear, shady and felt dominating his soul.
Dean wanted to go down and tell Alan and Michael this. But his hand was held.
The man wrote something on his palm.
"Don't tell anyone about me!"
Dean frowned and asked cluelessly.
"Why?"
"For your safety. Don't get close to me!" his reply.
"There was a friend whom they tortured to death. Have you heard of General So?" ask Dean.
The man was surprised, his eyes looked worried.
"General So? How's he doing now?"
The old man was surprised.
"How did you meet them?"
Dean, "They died in custody in a strange and wild world. We transferred his soul to the body of one of the friends. We intend to bury their bodies somewhere. But we got stranded here, then arrested."
"How do you know how to guard the soul of our nation?"
His old eyes stared in astonishment.
"Wait a minute. I told the other friends," Dean said as he stood up.
Dean didn't care about the guy's disobedience. He walked to the door. At the other end, Alan and Michael were still playing while waiting.
"Alan, how about we just play here?" haggard Dean.
"okay!"
Michael and Alan approached.
"My cellmate's men are our people. I'd like to, if you'd seen him, but don't show a surprised face" Dean wrote.
"All right" replied Michael.
Alan and Michael sat on the floor outside the door. Dean sat on the inside. They came back to playing.
Alan and Michael repeatedly try to see who he really is. But he didn't look at it one bit. Until one day, Alan tried to touch Michael's forehead with a slight push. Michael avoided dodging his body into the cell.
"You cheated, Alan," he said.
But Michael was surprised after seeing the figure of the old man. He immediately looked down on the floor.
"Your majesty" he whispered almost in tears.
Dean and Alan were shocked. But instead of kowtowing, he pulled Michael's body out of the cell.
"You cheated!" exclaim Dean.
"Yes, lose but do not want to be spiked," said Alan added.
Alan saw tears on Michael's cheek. Then quickly flicked Michael's forehead hard. Dean did the same.
"Ohhh .. sick tau!" michael's Protest.
"That's because you ran away during dysentery" Alan said with a good laugh. While Michael grimaced while rubbing his forehead.
They're back playing. This time it was quieter. Because they're discussing the latest findings.
It turned out that the old man was His Highness the Lord of Light. The leader of the nation of Light. There was a sense of excitement as it turned out that their leader had not died in the doom that destroyed the star realm.
But it was sad and angry to imagine that the noblest man had lived this kind of confined life for hundreds of years.
"Now we have to think hard about finding the safest way to get him out of here" Michael said.
Dean and Alan nodded. They were determined to take care of the old man. Because he looks lonely with no guards at all.
