SURVIVORS
Chaptre 309. Heat Temperature Attack

"God ... Crazy one! Real hot. Yesterday it wasn't like this" Alan grumbled.

"There may be an unusual phenomenon for this weather change" Robert guessed.

"Maybe too. Unfortunately, we are not good at the weather. It feels like a cold bath" added Dr Chandra.

"What about our cattle? Aisshhh we have to install a roof to protect them" Leon said. He immediately ran out of the house. Dean came in from behind, to help him.

But, as soon as they left the house, a red veil was seen covering the area of Leon's residence.

Dean went back in the house. He saw Alan sitting cross-legged and issued his ability to protect the entire area of the house from the heat.

"Dean, it's not hot anymore, but—"

Leon was silent as Dean gestured to shut up.

"Alan protected this whole place" Dean said through voice transmissions to three of his other friends.

Leon, Robert and Dr. Chandra no longer disturb Alan's concentration. Meanwhile Dean, took out the perennial water and splashed it into Alan's body.

"Try a little drink" he persuaded. Alan followed Dean's advice.

In another corner of the house, Leon, Robert and Chandra chat through voice transmissions.

"How are you gonna stay here if the weather's this extreme?" ask doctor Chandra.

"Rubber. It's like a heat stroke in a country of four seasons. At the height of summer. Or desert weather" Robert added.

"Have you forgotten that Jane and I lived in the desert before meeting you?" leon reminded.

"What about your cattle and crops?" ask doctor Chandra.

"Yes, must make a cage with a cover. It'sit's okay. While the cage is not finished, then I will keep the cattle in storage if the weather turns extreme." Leon calmed the worries of his friends.

Robert shakes. The worry is not gone. "Then what about your plants?"

"This must have only happened once. Just look at Sulaiman's garden. Doesn't it always grow well?" Leon gave an example.

"If something like this happens again, how do you handle it? No more Alan can protect your land with a dome of light" insisted Robert.

"Yeahhh .. just get harvested as soon as possible and keep it in storage" replied Leon lightly.

"Maybe it can't be sold. But at least I have fresh food stock until the next growing and harvesting season!" leon was wise.

"Already, Robert. Leon is an optimist. He's as smart as Counselor Ma. Don't worry anymore." Doctor Chandra ended their debate.

Outside the dome of red light, the sky began to dim. Day starts afternoon. Alan gave up his protection. Then fell down exhausted.

"Alan!" exclaim Dean worried. Three other friends approached and helped justify Alan's position.

Quickly, Dean took the perennial water and drank it on Alan. But the water is flowing out. It makes his friends worried.

Robert opened Alan's mouth by raising his head slightly, so that drinking water could enter. Slowly a cup of immortal water made it through Alan's throat. Dean soaked Alan's already soaked body, in order to cool down faster.

"That's worrying. What about Sunil and Sulaiman?" ask Leon worriedly.

"Sunill? His body was even hotter than fire. He'll be fine, " Dean said sure.

"What about Sulaiman? Does Sunil make a dome of light like Alan?" ask Leon again. He does not know the advantages of his friends.

Dean shakes. "I've never seen O do that. But I guess, he must have kept Sulaiman in his storage" replied Dean.

I hope things are okay there" said Dr Chandra.

But Robert stepped quickly towards the door.

"Where are you going?" ask Leon.

"Alright, I'll clean the cage before dark. So tomorrow we don't have to worry anymore." Leon stepped out.

Other friends were also expelled. They looked at Alan with sadness as well as respect. Although nosy, but Alan has repeatedly proved that he is ready to sacrifice to protect all his friends.

"The women prepared a nice dinner and Alan would love. He needs more energy after what he did all afternoon.

Dean lets Marianne and Chandra's doctor treat and wait for Alan. He came out to see the impact of the extreme weather this afternoon. Most of the plants molt and die of drought. Some even burn where they grow.

Dean draws seawater to water almost the entire island. Especially the area of Leon and Sulaiman's house and gardens. And the surrounding area. Watering it to prevent the excesses of wind friction on dry twigs that might cause a fire later tonight.

The night has gone down. Dean went to Sulaiman's house. The field on the left right of the house is empty. It seems that Sunil managed to harvest the entire plant in time. All that remained was the brownish withered foliage in its clumps.

Dean entered the house, and saw Robert and Sunil still there.

"What's wrong with her?" Dean's eyes were on Sulaiman lying on the couch.

"I knocked him unconscious. Then I put in the storage and started harvesting the garden produce. But it's been this night, he still hasn't woken up yet" Sunil reported.

"We'll take it to Leon's place. We're trying to treat it with eternal water" Dean said.

"okay."

The three return to the hill, where Leon and Jane live. Smoke billowed from the hot plants that Dean sprayed with water.

"I think this hot weather can be deadly. And it can't just befall this island ...."

Robert hesitated to continue his sentence. But his expression was obviously very worried.

"You mean, the whole of Indonesia?" dean asked surprised.

"I'm worried like that. So, I think we should check out the nearest island from here. If they experience the same thing, then—"

"good. We take Sulaiman first. Then check to the nearest island," Dean broke up.

All three are fast. This time their worries grew. So I need to check it out immediately. If possible, help as much as possible.

After placing Sulaiman near Alan, Dean asked Chandra and Marianne's doctors to treat Sulaiman as well. They still have to check around the island.

"Eat first. Since noon you have not eaten," urged Widuri.

Robert nodded. They eat quickly. Then leave. They sped up high to search for the nearest island within reach.

"That!"

Robert pointed to a point where black smoke rose up in the moonlight. They quickly rushed in that direction. The location is not too far away. Still in the middle of the vast sea. A ship - or at least the remains of a ship - was billowing black smoke..All parts of the ship were burned. The three men did not find their owners.

"Maybe because it's so hot, the gas tank went up in flames and exploded?" surga Sunil's.

"That's possible. Come on, let's find another one!"

Dean flew in the other direction which also silenced the smoke.

"Another ship again," he murmured concernedly.

"Is the whole of Indonesia experiencing this heat wave attack?" thought worried.

"Nobody can be saved here. We're looking for somewhere else" Robert said.

"It's an island, right?" point at Sunil at a dark spot in the distance.

"Come on!"

Dean, Robert and Sunil darted towards the island. Is there anything that can be saved there? What phenomenon is this? What happened to the earth after they left six years ago?
