SURVIVORS
Chaptre 156. Indra

"Ohhhhhhh..."

There was a scream and a scream of fear from a woman. Something made him fall. His face was pale lesions and his body trembled violently.

Some people ran to see what was happening.

"What's wrong?" ask the crowd.

"I. i tu. a. da. ma. yat.." point it out with trembling fingers.

All eyes followed the direction of the woman. They were surprised to see a body swaying helplessly toyed with the waves. The body was face down and the face was sinking in sand. His feet were wrapped around the seaweed.

A young man approached. Behind that body. 'Not stiff' he thought. Then the cold part of his neck was touched by being submerged in water for too long.

"He's still alive! Help lift to the pendapa. One of you calls the healer's grandfather."

The crouching young man gave instructions. Some people approached to help. One of them went to call the doctor.

Together they lifted the weak and drenched body towards the village pendapa.

"Does anyone know him?" One of the spectators asked. Everyone shakes.

"Could it be people from the farming village in the south?"

"Or someone from the city?"

The fisherman's villagers speculated and then whispered. The little village is a rage. In droves they want to see people stranded on that beach.

An hour later...

"Tabib came. The healer came.." shouted the people as he opened the way.

"Woaa. the daughter of the great healer's grandfather."

"The prettiest and smartest girl in the region."

A young girl accompanied by her servant who was carrying a medicine box, continued walking without letting go of her smile. He used to hear people whispering wherever he went.

"Where's the guy?" A soft soft voice sounded.

The young man who had been helping, immediately looked surprised.

"Where is the healer's grandfather?" Ask wonder.

"Dad is going to the village on the hill. I asked the waiter to tell me this. So let's try to check it out first." The woman replied softly.

The young man helped the girl check. While waiting for the doctor's arrival, they had cleaned and changed the clothes of the unknown man. Now the girl could more easily check it out.

"She was found on the beach? How can his clothes be dry?" Ask the girl.

"We've cleaned and changed her wet clothes. That's there the clothes." The young man answered honestly.

"Will you if you find someone who has an accident, you can't turn his body back?" The girl said sharply.

"We even brought him here. Otherwise, how can you help a half-drowned person?" The young man again denied.

"Hahh, I don't want to argue with you. Just the words of father you'll listen to." Said the girl.

He then checked carefully. His servant was helping. Everyone watched the way the girl they admired resuscitated the drowning victim.

"Uhukk... uhukk!"

"The man is conscious. He's conscious!"

"The physician's daughter is great. Can save the man who's been on the verge of death." They're getting amazed.

"Where am I?" Ask the guy weak.

The girl gave him a bowl of drinks without replying. "Drink first."

The man complied and drank the bowl unsuspectingly. Shortly afterwards he lowered his head and vomited all of his stomach contents.

The maid of honor offered another bowl. The man was suspicious.

"That's to clean your mouth. For gargling." The girl seemed to know what the young man was thinking.

The young man then grabbed the bowl and gargled and cleaned his face. The bowl was handed back.

"Now drink this. To change your body fluids. So you have the energy to sit."

The man followed the girl's gaze.

"Ah, sorry. Trouble you." He said as he realized he was leaning on a man behind him.

He improved his sitting attitude and then grabbed the drink that the girl had just offered.

"This, like coconut water," she sings slowly.

The man gulped down the contents of the bowl which turned out to be the coconut water.

"My job of making you realize is done. But I suggest you come with me so that my father can check for any other diseases you might get while drifting in the sea."

The girl gave the code to her servant who immediately cleared the medicine box they were carrying.

I have to find my friends." The man refused.

"The physician's daughter is right. You go with him and check yourself first."

"If there are still your friends stranded here, we'll help them too."

The fisherman villagers offered a solution to his objections. But the young man was still worried.

"You go with him. Me and a couple of guys are going down the beach to see if any of your friends are here." The man who was on his pedestal leaned back, spoke up.

"Yes, we'll check the beach." The crowd in front of the pastor supported.

"alright. Thanks for the help. My name is Indra." Said the young man.

"I'm Benny, they used to call Ben." The young man was touching Indra.

The young girl immediately stood up and walked out the pendapa while carrying the medicine box. Indra accompanied at the back with a limp assisted by the waiter. They walked down the village road to the top of the hill.

*

"You can rest and wait here first. It seems that father hasn't returned from touring the village."

The girl was standing in front of a room whose doors and windows were immediately opened by her servant.

Indra nodded his head.

"Thank you" he said, bowing his head slightly.

'The polite man' thought the girl. Then he turned around and left followed by the waiter.

"Don't forget to prepare him food to restore his strength." The girl's message to the waiter by her side.

"Well, lady, I'll get ready soon. Any other orders?"

"No. You leave. I'll rest in the room. Let me know if you're back, "the message.

"Well miss." The waiter bowed his body slightly before heading towards the kitchen.

*

Indra stepped into the room while inspecting the entire contents. There was a small bed of pure white sheets. The table beside him was empty. There was a pair of table chairs by the window facing the inner garden. A partition in the corner. Indra checked what was there. It turned out that there was a tub of water from wood with a dipper from a coconut shell on it.

"Good guest room. Half a stone and clapboard. It is complete with a simple bathroom inside. It seems that I am in the human world again. Later I ask what year and which country is this," muttered Indra optimistically.

He laid his body on the bed. His mind floated on the scene that night. The journey to the light ended badly and left them scattered.

"Where's Niken now? Could other townspeople find him? I need to find out where the others are." Promise to himself.

Tok..

The waiter opened the unlocked door. He entered with a tray in hand. Put it on the table.

"Please eat first, sir. You have to charge up to recover quickly." He said kindly.

"Thank you for the hospitality." Indra said sincerely.

The waiter walked back out of the room and closed the door again.

Indra immediately got up and sat in the front window seat. He fed the porridge in the bowl while enjoying the lush garden in front of him. Some workers tidied up the park. Some others plucked and placed them carefully inside the wide baskets they were about to pack.

"Hemm, if this is a healer's residence, I think the garden in front of it is more likely to be a medicine garden. That's great." Mumbled amazed.

"Wait!"

Sally suddenly realized something.

"The term healers, medicinal plants and the clothes they wear, does not indicate modern times, does it?" Indra thought hard.

"I was stranded in what era? What year is this?" He's back in trouble.

"Don't that light in the sea also take us to the past?"

"Akhhh, my head hurts thinking about it." Indra held her head that was pulsing violently.

"If I'm in the past, it means having to find another world gap again to go home. But the main thing is to find other friends as well as Niken." His determination.
