SURVIVORS

SURVIVORS
Chapters 97. The Past of Felix

While all his friends were cleaning up the contents of the storage room, Dean looked at the cave room seriously. He wanted to cover the trail of the entrance of the passageway by hoarding large chunks of stones. But the small pond had to remain there, in anticipation of people falling into the cave of light on the snow mountain, being able to find an alternative exit.

"We're done Dean. What do you need my help for?" alan asked approaching.

"Have they all come out?" asked Dean without looking.

"Yes, I just got back from dropping them off" Alan said.

"I want to cover all traces of the existence of the spaces inside. The walls of this cave must be partially torn down to cover it."

"So it's better this cook stove and brick fireplace we take it off and move it to that new place. How's it?" ask Dean.

"Oh, okay." Alan consented.

Dean began to open again the mouth of the stone-covered cave. That'll be their way out with that big fireplace.

Dean cut a bit of the stone wall where the furnace had stuck before. Alan was just waiting and watching. He has no stone cutting skills.

"Okay, it's done. We lift it together" Dean said.

"OK,"

Alan approached and followed Dean's directions. The brick fireplace was lifted together out through the cave's high and wide door.

The fireplace was brought flying across the top of the mountain, passing through a shower of water that fell from the black fog. The two of them floated slowly to where their friends were back on the cool down and marked the transparent boundary wall with rocks.

The fireplace was placed not far from where the water reservoir was located. It looks like a cooking area.

"Good Dean! I can get our dinner ready soon."

The goddess looks happy because the kitchen is back.

"Nastiti, help me move the dinner table and the benches here. Then that stone floor could be where we sleep tonight. It must be adem."

Widuri helped with that.

"Come on." answered Nastiti immediately.

"You've taken all the light stones?" ask the Goddess to remind.

"There's in my backpack" Nastiti said quickly.

Alan and Dean left the rush behind. They still have to close the hallway door.

It was late afternoon when Alan and Dean returned. They carry a pool of water in the air. The water was spilled soaking up the stone floor. All the thin dust that enveloped his surface was immediately swept towards the dry soil beneath.

Sunil who was sitting at the dining table just observed. Dean and Alan sat down with him.

"How's it going in there?" ask Sunil.

"The door of the cave over there is closed. You can check later. The door over here, we'll close tomorrow" replied Dean.

"alright. Now we have dinner and then rest. A lot of work is still waiting."

"Food dataaaang," Dewi brought two large plates of food, followed by Nastiti and Widuri.

The little team enjoyed dinner with casual talk. The place was no longer too dark, as it was illuminated with purple light crystals and the light of the fireplace from the coal they had collected earlier.

At the drug manufacturing site.

Robert, Glenn, Chandra's doctor, looked seriously at all the drugs the waiter was showing him based on the prescription. Dr. Chandra was writing all the notes on his note paper. Sometimes Robert shook his head when he didn't know what kind of medicine the waiter was showing. After all, he was not a potion expert who knew any kind of medicine. What else this is a different world.

Doctor Chandra showed Glenn his notes. Glenn was surprised to see the foreign writing in front of him.

"There are only 2 kinds of medicinal ingredients that Robert recognized. That means the plant is in our world. The rest we don't understand" said Dr Chandra.

"I can't second-guess a patient's illness this way. What else is the right medication. Please let me check on your father, "he suggested.

Glenn weighed in for a moment.

"alright. Let's go over there. And you continue to boil the medicine as prescribed" Glenn told the waiter.

"Okay young master," said the servant.

Glenn and his two guests walked out of the medicine room. They were joined by other team members on the side porch.

"Where are mom and dad?" glenn asked the waiter who was in the room.

"Master went to rest in the room of the lady, young master," replied the courteous maid.

"Okay, doctor Chandra come with me" Glenn asked.

"Good."

Doctor Chandra followed Glenn's steps towards the top floor.

"Isn't it too heavy for him to go up and down stairs like this?" ask Dr. Chandra astonished.

"For dad there is a special way so there is no need to climb the stairs." replied Glenn.

"Oh, good then" said Dr. Chandra.

Arriving at the door with two guards, Glenn stopped.

"Tell me, I'm coming" Glenn ordered the bodyguard.

Tok..

"Yes?" the faint voice of a female servant shrieked from within.

"Young master Glenn is coming in" the bodyguard reported.

Krieett..

"Dad, this doctor wants to check on you" Glenn spoke immediately after the maid left and closed the door.

"alright. To relieve your heart and reduce your anxiety, let your friend check." Mr. Felix allows.

Glenn nodded at Dr. Chandra. Both approaching.

"What's that?" point Glenn's mother at the paper Chandra holds.

"Oh, here's a prescription note from the healer" replied Dr. Chandra.

A waiter approached and asked for the paper. Doctor Chandra handed it over. And Glenn's mother was also surprised to see the writing.

"Well, the doctor's writing I don't understand. So Glenn read and I rewrote it to make it easier to remember the recipe."

Dr. Chandra explained carefully.

Glenn's mother nodded, then passed the note into the hands of her husband. Although it has been explained, inevitably Mr. Felix was still surprised to see it.

"Tabib, you can start checking," ordered Mr. Felix.

"good. But I'm a doctor sir, not a healer."

Doctor Chandra smiled. Then start checking the pulse in Mr. Felix's hand. But that doesn't satisfy him. Dr. Chandra used to listen to heartbeats with a stethoscope. So Chandra's doctor brought his head to Felix's chest and tried to listen to his heartbeat.

Dr. Chandra found that the old man was not fat, but was beginning to get a bit swollen. There was a deep frown between his eyebrows. Pressed the skin surface of Felix's arm with a finger, then released. The surface did not return to normal immediately.

"Can you still pee?"

"Yes" Felix replied.

"How many times a day? How many came out?" ask Dr. Chandra to know.

"Well, 2-3 times. Not many came out," Felix replied with a bit of confusion.

Doctor Chandra nodded.

"Do you always feel like peeing?" ask again.

"Yes" Felix replied quickly.

"I'm going to push these parts. Tell me if it hurts."

Dr. Chandra pressed his kidneys slowly left and right. Felix grimaced softly as his left kidney pressed down. Dr. Chandra immediately checked carefully.

"This scar when?" tanyakanya.

"It's been a long time."

Glen's mother replied.

"Is it often painful here?" tanyanya wants to make sure.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Not here?" ask Dr. Chandra again.

"If I press no pain?"

"May I see the wounds of the last war?"

"Night sleep well no?:

"The cough is no ripple?"

The examination was long and many questions were asked by Chandra's doctor.

'This examination is much longer than the physician examination' Glenn thought.

Finally Chandra's doctor finished examining and noting his findings. Mr. Felix is allowed a break.

"Is there a lavender flower in this place? Which flowers are small purple?" ask doctor Chandra.

A female servant came in and was questioned. Dr Chandra described the shape of the flower. The waiter came out and brought back some examples of purple and pink flowers.

Doctor Chandra found a sprig of lavender among all.

"Take more of these flowers. Put it in a glass filled with water. Put it near where he sleeps" said Dr. Chandra.

The waiter left immediately after receiving permission from Glenn's mother.

"Is the flower the cure?" asked Glenn's mother in wonder.

"No. The flower may be able to help you sleep better. It looks like you're sleep deprived. If breath tight during sleep, stack the pillow a bit high to support the back. To cough it up, I'll give Glenn a prescription. This room lacks sunlight. The air is not free to go in and out. If you can, open the windows throughout the day and sibak curtains to make the room warmer. The rest I will explain to Glenn" explained Dr Chandra diplomatically.

"We went out first, mother. I'm resting."

Glenn bowed followed by Dr. Chandra, then exited the room.

After the door closed, Glenn's mother who was uncovering the dark red curtains in the room asked.

"Do you remember that, baby?" ask him in passing.

Uhuk..

"Ehemm.well, it's quite similar," Felix's eyes glared to the past. He was young and loved to travel to different places.
