Yabie couldn't accompany Dean this morning. He has to treat Laras. So Sunil went with Dean. They brought a rabbit with them for testing.
Dean's down where he tried yesterday.
"2 days ago Yabie and I tried this. But the sheep didn't come back" Dean explained.
"Where do you want to try now?" ask Sunil.
"There. Come on!"
Dean floated up and flew to the other side of the area. He floated for a moment at the height, then flew low towards another gap that had been marked.
"Here" said Dean.
Sunil tried to put his hand across. His hand had indeed broken through the barrier. Sunil tried to also touch the side next to him, but his hand could not penetrate the barrier wall.
Dean's done draping the rope around the rabbit's neck. The two prepare to release the guinea pig.
"Hopefully this time it works" Dean hoped.
The rabbit was put into the gap of the barrier wall. It seems that this time the experiment was different. The rabbit was more agile running in. It was marked by a rope that kept moving into the gap.
"Maybe the spot in front of the crack caught the attention of the rabbit and was far from danger" Sunil guessed.
"It could be the reason he's moving frisky." Dean nodded in agreement with Sunil's opinion.
The rope was almost done in Dean's hand.
"Pull!" Sunil gave aba-aba.
Dean pulled the rope that was tying the rabbit.
Sssssthtt!
A rope came out of the wall. And that's very short. Only about a meter and a half.
Sunil and Dean fell silent at the fact. There were no rabbits, not even a rope that was a few meters long was a meter and a half away.
"It also seems to be a one-way gap. And worse, even the rope gets swallowed." Sunil looked at the rope in Dean's hand in surprise.
"If there are 2 gaps in the wall that can only enter, it means that the inhabitants of this world never come out at all" murmured Dean.
"Then how? Do you still want to check the other parts? Maybe there's a gap at the top?" ask Sunil.
"upper part? Why didn't I think of that possibility?" Dean smiled brightly. There's still hope.
"Let's check it out" Dean asked excitedly.
The two checked together. Touching that part of the barrier bit by bit. Hopeful. Based on their experience through many foreign worlds, there should also be one gap out of this place.
"I found it!" exclaim Sunil happy.
Dean approaches.
"Where?" ask Dean not to believe it.
"This. You're just gonna ciba." Sunil showed the transparent barrier field in front of him that was.
Dean floated closer. That position is not the top of the barrier. But the side of the arch may be as high as 9 or 10 meters from the ground.
Dean tried to touch her. His hand went in. Try to feel with his hands the situation inside.
"It feels warm and humid." Dean's dumbstruck.
This was different from the first time he and Yabie checked. Dean pulled his hand.
"Sunil can you go back home and get a hen for this experiment?" ask Dean.
"Why not a rabbit anymore?" ask Sunil.
"Because chickens can fly to save themselves, if this is just a one-way gap" Dean explained.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that it was high off the ground. Okay, I'll get it." Sunil.
"Take the female, and rope too. Don't forget!" dean's Message. Sunil nodded, then darted away quickly leaving Dean.
Dean could not leave his position, because the barrier was on top, so it could not be marked by piling twigs.
Dean scanned the forest around the place. Mysterious islands and forests. But there were too many things to clear up, so he couldn't focus on checking them out. In fact, if you want to immediately find a way back, then all the possibilities here must be checked first.
A few moments later.
"You've even tied his legs" Dean said. Thumbs up to Sunil.
"Let's be practical" replied Sunil.
"Okay, this is the third experiment. Let's enter. Good luck," Dean said.
"Hopefully it works," said Sunil following.
The chicken that had been tied to her feet was put into the gap of the barrier wall.
At first the rope in Dean's hand felt stiff, the sign of the chicken falling and his leg stuck. Then slack off. Maybe the chicken was trying to flap its wings. Then the rope stiffened again. It seemed like he had failed to fly with his feet tied to the rope.
Dean pulled back the hanging rope. The chicken hung upside down. He's moving not stopping. Trying to fly but his legs are tied, making him fall back. And the hens tried to rise again with a crush.
Dean and Sunil laughed happily at her. Not because the chicken did something funny. But because the chicken came back intact. So there is a possibility that this gap is a 2-way path. Can get in and out.
"You want to try it?" challenge Sunil.
"Hemmm, honestly I'm never sure if I should go it alone. But with the whole team, I'm not afraid" Dean replied honestly.
"You must be afraid to part with Widuri" guessed Sunil.
Dean nodded.
"I have a wife to take care of now."
"Don't worry. If you get stuck here, then Widuri will also come here to accompany you" Sunil replied casually.
"What kind of friend are you?" Dean threw the rope towards Sunil in annoyance. Sunil dodged while laughing.
"I'm just kind and understanding. Sending Widuri so you don't get lonely!" refute Sunil with a manyun lips.
"Huh, already. Let me see first."
Sunil touched the surface of the transparent barrier. He rested his two hands and put his head into the crack.
Dean deg-degan saw it that frivolous. If any ferocious beast were to suddenly grab Sunil's head, how dangerous would it be.
"What do you see? Lift your head. The danger!" exclaimed Dean worriedly.
"Ohhhh!"
Sunil screeched restrained. Dean who was in a high alert condition, immediately pulled Sunil's body out of the crack.
"What are you doing?" Sunil protest.
"You okay?" asked Dean in wonder.
"of course! Are you hoping I'm not okay?" Sunil asked back.
"Then why did you scream?" ask Dean sebal.
"That's because.... Ah, let's see for yourself. You must be surprised to see it." Sunil shook his head.
"Your attitude is exaggerated. Mysterious boy!" dean's still upset.
"Haha...." Sunil laughed loudly.
"Thank you for the compliment. I feel very proud" said Sunil Pede.
Dean could only shake his head. He's approaching that gap. Focusing two hands on the transparent slit wall. Then put his head into the crack.
There's an amazingly beautiful view down there. Wheat fields in small kali limits. Then a small meadow. And maple forest....
Maple forest?? Dean looked carefully at the place again. Like Deja Vu.
"Why can it be so similar to the world of small rock mountains?" dean muttered inexhaustibly.
Suddenly something surprised him.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhh!"
Dean's hand slipped in shock. And his body immediately slid downwards with a rush.
"Deaaannn!"
Sunil's frantic shout accompanied Dean's fall. But before reaching the ground, Dean manages to gain control of himself and drifts, avoiding the surface of the grass.
