Mother shakes. "If he's evil, he won't come here" explained the old mother.
"She must have known instantly that I had no blood relation to your grandmother. But he still gave me medicine."
The old woman turned out to have a very clear mind, at her age.
"I'm relieved to meet the same nation as your grandmother. You also have to be kind, to good people. Don't return the favor with poison!" mother's message.
The young man just looked down. "Yes, mom. I'll follow your message, "he replied.
"What's your name?" ask doctor Chandra.
"Aslan," he answered briefly.
"When your mother's soon. You converse. We're leaving" said Dr. Chandra.
"Master .. please, take her with you. He doesn't have a life here" the woman asked.
Doctor Chandra shakes. "We're just wandering in an uncertain direction" declined Chandra's doctor.
Disappointment in his mother's eyes. Aslan persuaded. "Mom don't worry about me. I'll work as hard as I can to survive. My body is strong, to work hard in the market" he comforted.
"Dok, maybe Aslan can help us get the necessities in this city!" cetus Robert by voice transmission.
"What idea?" reply doctor Chandra.
"He might be the middleman to sell the pearls we have. He must know people who might be able to buy." Tobert gave his thoughts.
"Or, you're treating a seriously ill person, with an existing pill medicine," Dean suggested
"Your wishes are troublesome!" dr Chandra's.
"Let's get out there and get back to town!" take Dr. Chandra.
The three stepped out of the house. But soon they were stunned. The sand and rocky beach down there, already inundated with water. Even the waves had reached the boundary of the courtyard fence.
"Water is up. We can't go anywhere until the water recedes." Dean stared at the large island that was now separated from where they were.
Robert looked around. He came back soon. "House on this rock hill, no more than ten," he reported.
"The village is small and remote" commented Dr Chandra.
"Oh, it's rising. You can't go back to town, right now." Aslan appeared from inside the house.
"It's fine to rest here tonight, '" he bargained politely.
Doctors Chandra, Dean and Robert looked at him, then nodded. "alright. We'll hitch a break at your house tonight" Doctor Chandra accepted the offer politely.
"Where's your kitchen?" ask Dean.
"That, there!" point Aslan to the side of the house.
"Thank you" Dean said. With Robert, the two went to the kitchen. Time to get something ready for this family.
"Dean, I think .. we can use this place as the basis for our journey." Robert spoke his wild thoughts again.
"What does that mean?" dean asked while chopping the meat into small pieces to boil until tender.
"I mean, we put the teleportation door in Aslan's house, so we can go back and forth to the small world from here. Aslan knows about our nation. I guess...."
Dean looked at Robert who no longer continued his words. "You yourself have doubts so hloo," Dean scolded.
"We must speak with the Ruler first" Dean continued.
"If your own opinion, how?" robert asked to know.
"But it can't be forever. If we want to return to Indonesia in our year of origin, then the teleportation door will be brought again. And how's Aslan?" continued again.
"I thought he could be with us. Wasn't that woman leaving her son to the Ruler? But ... was rejected." Robert seemed to disagree with the actions of the Ruler.
"The ruler must have his own thoughts which we cannot understand."
Dean had taken out the grain of wheat which was then washed and cooked with meat. He wanted to make a porridge of wheat filled with meat. It seems that the Aslan family has not used the kitchen for a long time. Somehow they survived this long.
"Add this vegetable!" Robert . handed Dean a bowl of sliced vegetables.
"What do you cook?" Aslan.
"Grain porridge. I thought your mom needed energy. And a soft porridge is suitable for his stomach" replied Dean.
"That's what?" point Aslan towards the bowl.
"It's a little vegetable, to make it more nutritious." Dean smiles.
"What's wrong?" Robert quickly responded.
"Emmm, that's .. I mean, like my mom said...."
"We respect Doctor Chandra's decision to be the oldest" Poyong Dean said.
"Do you want to travel with us?" robert asked, ignoring Dean's words.
"What's incriminating to me to leave is mom's condition. He has no other relatives. Just like me, Mom was adopted by Grandma too. Often I hope Grandma is still alive and will return to the house she built," Aslan explained.
"So, this house was built by your grandmother?" ask Robert.
"Yes. According to Mother's story, this house has existed since she was brought here. Grandma said, this house was built alone, before there was a single house on this small island. Six other houses here, grandmother built for her followers. But they are gone too. There are only grandchildren who occupy."
Aslan continued his story again. "Once in a while, they bring food here out of respect for mother, as grandmother's adopted daughter. But I also know, their lives are hard. I'd love to be able to help, tap—"
"You can help them on some terms!" The voice in Dr. Chandra shocked the three people who were being engrossed.
"What's the condition?" asked Aslan expectantly.
"Let me tell you first. Your mother wasn't so honest about my sister she acknowledged as a mother. He has to tell the whole story he knows, if I want to help you!" doctor Chandra.
"What's? Did ya? I don't know if anything's kept secret. But that's the story my mother always told me" Aslan replied.
Doctor Chandra shakes. Now Dean and Robert understood why Chandra's doctor had refused her request. The ruler can detect his dishonesty.
"Let me talk to mom." Aslan immediately turned towards the house.
"Do you think I'm being mean to refuse someone's request?" ask doctor Chandra.
Dean and Robert looked down. "You must have considerations we don't understand. That's what I believe in" replied Dean.
"Save me. I was a little disappointed, though," Robert admitted. "But now I understand. The Ruler's knowledge is indeed superior to ours," he said regretfully.
"Hmmm...." Doctor Chandra nodded and patted Robert on the shoulder. "It's okay," he said.
"Is the porridge ripe?" Point it towards the pan.
Dean immediately stirred again the porridge in the pot. "It's almost ripe," he said.
"Robert, let's clean the inner room, so it's clean and comfortable to use for eating," asked Dr. Chandra.
"Yes, the Lord." Robert ran ahead to the house, to clean the room.
