Chaptre 225. Barrel Treatment
Kang and Robert arrive before dark at the mansion in the middle of the forbidden forest. There was only Marianne and Cloudy.
"Where is everyone?" asked Robert who was astonished to see that place so deserted
"They were bathing in the sea, under that cliff."
Marianne pointed to the back of the house.
"Will they be long?" ask Robert again.
"They haven't been long gone. So maybe as late as dusk just came back," answered Marianne honestly.
"You can swim there if you want." Marianne's Advice
"Me?" Robert pointed to himself.
"Yes, ask Kang to play water there," replied Marianne.
Kang pulled Robert and sat on his back. He's getting ready to fly.
"Hey, careful. Don't let anyone else see you flying like that!" marianne shouted.
Robert didn't hear Marianne's warning much. So he just waved his hand.
Up on the edge of the cliff, Robert could see his friends playing water in the sea, under the cliff. Kang intends to swoop down, when Robert sees a ship passing by and rings a horn.
"Wait for Kang. We better wait for them at the cottage." Robert prevents Kang from going down to Dean and the others.
Kang nodded, then turned back to the house.
"Not so?" ask Marianne astonished.
"We'll just wait here" said Robert. He sat down casually.
Doctor Chandra was out of the house. He looks fresh.
"Robert, Kang's.... Have you guys been a long time?" ask Doctor Chandra kindly.
"Just now" replied Robert.
"Not swimming into the sea Doc?" ask Robert.
"Haha.... I don't want to compete with young people who can show off six pax" joked Dr Chandra.
"Maha."
Robert's laughter. He didn't think Dr. Chandra could make a silly joke. Marianne even smiled hearing that.
Before long Indra and Michael also came while carrying firewood. They put it under the furnace table.
"We take a shower first. It is forbidden to eat if it smells...!" shouted Michael.
Robert just smiled. He even took a shower this morning before going to the dead city. Then rush back with Kang to find the drug Laras.
The light of the lamp shimmered as Indra began to light all the torches in the neighborhood.
"I just take a shower first, huh.," cried Indra from a distance.
Marianne had been busy with kitchen activities as cheerful voices rang out. The special Nastiti laughter enlivened the afternoon.
"You been a long time?" sapa Widuri's.
"No, not yet" said Robert.
"Marianne I'm drying this laundry first. I'll be there!" shouting Niken.
Everyone was busy that afternoon. Wash, shower and prepare dinner.
Sunil took the teapot, filled it with water, added some pine leaves. The teapot is then placed next to the furnace to keep it warm over time.
Dean and Alan returned with water on their heads. They need more water now. Because now there are 3 bathrooms and a large tub for washing that should not be empty.

Doctor Chandra's face was beaming. Others are also happy to know Kang found the drug he was looking for.
"Kang, can you tell me why your grandfather had the disease?" ask Dean carefully.
Kang remained silent for a long time. Like trying to find answers. But he put his finger on Robert's forehead.
Robert closed his eyes. A lot of information went into his brain.
"Grandfather Kang fought with his country's enemies. In that fierce fight Grandpa Kang was hit by a crushing attack on his stomach. But Grandpa Kang still put all his abilities into locking up his enemy so that he can never come out and disturb his country again."
Everyone listened to Robert attentively. Except for Nastiti who can't take her eyes off Kang.
Niken grabbed his arm.
"You're like a bewitch" he whispered to Nastiti.
Nastiti's face was red, but she couldn't resist Kang's charm and charisma. Luckily Kang was in the other corner of that big table. So he doesn't know what Nastiti's doing.
In the other corner of the table, Robert was still telling stories.
"But the crushing attack he received was a dark magic black attack. On his way back to his home country, Grandpa Kang could no longer endure the pain, then was unconscious."
"Grandfather Kang was stranded in a foreign country."
Then Robert recounted Kang's story of the emperors they served as masters.
"Do you know how to make this medicine?" ask Alan.
Kang shook . He just found the bottle.
"alright. We rest faster. Tomorrow we have to go back to the forbidden city" Dean said.
All packed and tidied the dining table. Cleaning the dirty equipment for the rest of the dinner.

The barrel finally nodded. He had already taken a spoonful of that bitter medicine earlier. Now he must receive another treatment done directly on his wound.
Kang sat behind Laras whose shirt was opened on his back.
Seriously Kang moved both of his hands near the black blue color on Laras' back. Some foreign letters orange floated and then slipped into the black color on the back of Laras.
Each time the foreign letter entered his body, Laras would groan a little. The sweat on his forehead fell one-on-one. Until all the orange-colored letters disappeared from view.
Kang had lowered both his hands. The process is complete.
"Just like that, Kang? robert did not understand.
"Hemmm.." said kang.
Kang put a finger on Robert's forehead. Robert nodded.
"What did Kang say?" liam asked impatiently.
"Said Kang, the process is long. The barrel of taking the medicine was spoonful by spoonful. One day once. Kang will come once every 3 days to lift the curse spell little by little. If removed at once, the barrel will be in pain. Because the curse of the spell is like eating Laras slowly."
Robert explained what Kang had told him. Kang nodded in agreement.
Liam, Dean and Sunil were stunned to hear that. How painful.
"How long is the process?" ask Sunil.
Kang put his finger on Robert's forehead.
"Depends on how far the damage has gone. But according to Kang's vision, the curse has yet to reach Laras' heart. That's a relief," Robert explained."
Dean nodded.
"All right.... At least this is positive progress. If it has to be done slowly, then let's follow that way. The important thing is that the barrel can heal."
The others nodded in agreement with Dean's opinion.
Kang touched his finger to Robert's forehead.
"We have to go back first. There's a lot of work left there" Robert said.
"Can't you just stay with us?" asked Liam who was astonished to see Robert continue to follow Kang.
Robert smiled.
"Later, there's a time." Robert patted Liam's shoulder slowly.
"All right, we're back first. Laras, we go home first. In 3 days I'll drive Kang here" Dean said at the door.
"Yes. thank you," said Laras.
"Are you in pain?" ask Robert worriedly. Laras's face paled.
Kang was surprised to see that. He immediately grabbed Laras' hand and took her to the bathroom.
"Aaahhh," Laras shrieked softly.
Robert was surprised to see the way Kang pulled Baras. It was just like the way Kang pulled Robert to jump from twig to twig. Dean, Liam and Sunil held their breaths looking at that. They immediately approached the bathroom to see what was happening.
"Hueekkk... hueekkk...!"
The barrel spewed blackish-red blood from its mouth several times. The blood filled the bathroom floor.
Kang kept Laras' body upright and stable. Liam wiped the blood from Baras' mouth.
Dean handed the water jug to Laras.
"Drink this. It might cool the pain a little."
"Grass first," said Robert.
Barrel followed Robert's lead. He rinsed and threw dirty water out of his mouth.
"Now you can have a drink" said Robert.
Barrel obediently and drink the water that feels very soothing. Barrel drank it a few sips. The water calmed his turbulent stomach. The feeling of nausea decreases a lot.
"I'm fine now. Thank you," said Laras.
Liam took the wheelchair to the Barrel.
"Let's take you to the room. You can rest now. I'll put the container where you vomit, later" Liam said, pushing Laras back into the room.
Liam lifted Laras' body and laid him down quietly on the bed.
"You need a blanket?" liam asked attentively.
"No. The day is high. The air is getting hot. Please open the window of the room only" Pinta Laras.
Liam opened the window. Fresh air came in.
"I'm out first" said Liam.
"Hemmm," said Soluble. His eyes began to close. Body's tired.
"I put some water in this pitcher. Give it to Laras," Dean said.
"Is this medicinal water?" Liam noticed the water in the teapot.
Dean shakes.
" It's just plain water, but it can cool the stomach" he replied with a smile.
"Alright, we have to go back," Robert cut. Kang nodded.
"Yes. Thank you," said Liam.
