Chaptre 264. Linch and Leah
Dean and his team followed Linch's footsteps.
"We go to my house first before we leave."
"okay."
Dean nodded.
They walked down the empty streets.
The streets of Rawa town are well built with sturdy stones. Similar to a long, winding and branched stone bridge. On the right left of the road stood houses that were also of stone with high foundations. Maybe to anticipate the tides of the sea.
But the bottom of the city is no longer visible. Because there is a lot of garbage stuck between the poles of the house and the road. It causes a mixed smell. The stench, the sour smell and the rancid smell of sea creatures that may live among piles of garbage.
"This is a 1000% slovenly city!" sunil said through voice transmission.
Dean could see, all his friends were closing their noses. Except Jane, who does wear a face mask.
Linch brought the party into the city even further. The city is very quiet. All that was heard was the sound of a crowd in the tavern on the corner of the street they had just passed by.
Linch turned to enter a wood-fenced house. The deck of the yard is quite spacious and made of thick wood. Up ahead stood a simple house with semi-permanent walls. The house looked dark, without any lighting.
Linch locked the turnstile.
"This is my house. You can tie a horse there!" he said pointing at a corner, after looking at the surroundings for a moment.
Linch opened the door of his house that was closed. "Leah. I got a job. So you're...." Words interrupted.
"What's wrong? Tell me!" his yell.
Dean and his team were shocked to hear that.
"You want to give birth? Wait, I'm calling the doctor."
Linch immediately ran out in panic.
"I must call the physician. Call healer...."
Linch opened the gate and walked out. Dean did not have time to react to see him immediately run away while calling the healer.
"What's wrong?" tanya Widuri was confused.
Dean had not yet answered Widuri. Linch had already run in again. He's approaching Dean.
"Give me some money. I have to call the doctor. My wife is about to give birth," Linch asked for her payment impatiently.
"What??" The team members were surprised to hear it.
"My wife is giving birth!" Linch spoke loudly. He was very hurried and worried. Not happy if you have to answer back and forth.
"Doctor, can you help his wife give birth?" sunil asked Dr. Chandra.
"I helped out with labor once!" Doctor Chandra nodded.
"You've found a healer here!" dean smiled.
Linch looked at Doctor Chandra seriously. He looked up and down, as if in disbelief.
"Hey! How long will you let your wife be in pain?!: snapped Doctor Chandra anxious.
"You healer?" asked Linch doubtfully.
"I'm doctor. I'm treating the sick in my country!" doctor Chandra said irritatedly.
"That's a healer!" refute Linch.
"As far as you go!" Doctor Chandra walked towards the door impatiently.
"Niken, Widuri, you help me!" doctor Chandra's orders are indisputable.
"Ready Doc."
Widuri and Niken answered in unison. The two follow Doctor Chandra and Linch into the house.
"You, don't forget the lock on the gate!" yelled Linch at Indra who was standing near Niken.
Indra ran to close the wooden gate, and locked it.
"The house is very dark" chirped Niken who walked while fumbling.
They could hear the moaning of women from another corner of the house.
There was the sound of some things being hit. But then a lamp had lit up. A little light can be a guide.
"Add another lamp. Where's your wife?" ask Dr. Chandra.
"I found it!" yell Widuri.
Doctors Chandra and Niken follow him. Before long Linch returned with 2 other lamps. The room is now very bright.
"Add another lamp. And cook hot water immediately!" doctor Chandra's orders.
Linch ran to and fro.
Dean shows up at the door.
"Can I help you?"
"Help him cook water." Widuri answered Dean's question.
Dean turned his head back. "Alan, help you cook the water!" call Dean.
"okay."
"Sunil, you stand guard outside!" dean's orders.
"Ready!" replied Sunil.
"Where is the pot for cooking water?" ask Alan.
"I've filled the pot of water. But we're running out of firewood" Linch replied in confusion.
Alan squatting. He opened his palm under a pot of water. With a red gleam in his eyes, he ignited the flaming flame tongues in his palm. Alan used to help the women to light the firewood in the cooking stove.
Linch was surprised to see Alan's hand let out a flaming flame and was heating up the pot of water.
"Linch, give me a cloth, or a clean towel!" shouts Doctor Chandra.
"Yes!"
Linch immediately looked for the clean cloth that doctor Chandra had asked for. He had completely ignored Alan.
"Dean, give him some water. He's lost his strength" said Dr Chandra.
Dean handed a pot of immortal water to Widuri. Widuri helps the woman to drink. He looked very thirsty, and drank more. I don't know when he was in pain and lying on the floor.
"It's a clean cloth. I don't have a towel." said Linch.
Widuri's approaching Dean. "Take out our clean blankets and towels" Widuri told Dean.
"Later you need it," said Dean, opening his eyes.
"We have two, Dean."
Widuri opened her hand in front of Dean, asking for the items she called earlier.
Dean pulled out a blanket and a clean towel in the air.
"If behind the wall of light is a snowy forest again, how about it?" dean asked Siduri.
"I'll hold you all day to keep you warm!"
Widuri grabbed a blanket and a towel that floated teasing her.
Linch looked at that.
'Captain Smith is right. They're more dangerous than fat tigers out there' Linch thought.
"It's time. You stand by her, and give her strength!" doctor Chandra's orders on Linch.
"Niken, teach him how to breathe properly."
Doctor Chandra gave us a clue. Niken learned quickly, and taught it to Leah.
"Alan, that water should be done by now!" doctor Chandra shouted impatiently.
"Vigilanteau... Hot water!" said Alan while carrying a pot of hot water.
"Take cold water in a large container! I can't bathe a baby with boiling water.... Oh my God, I really work with amateurs."
Dean and his team smile at Doctor Chandra's complaint.
Linch immediately went to fetch the water that Doctor Chandra asked for.

Outside, in the yard. The other team members sat on the wooden deck that became the courtyard of the house. They rest and wait for the delivery process anxiously.
Jane curled her body in Leon's lap. Every time he heard Leah's scream, his body trembled in fear. Leon is aware of Jane's situation. So he hugged her tightly.
"I'm right here. I'll take care of you" comfort Leon. But Jane kept her ears shut.
'Was her friend once, killed due to childbirth difficulties?' thought Leon was concerned.
Leon can only rub Jane's back, to calm her down.
I heard the crying of the baby. Screeching, breaking the silence of the night.
"Aahhhh, thank God, he was finally born as well."
Everyone felt relief. I could feel Jane calm down. So she stretched out her arms, so that Jane could be more free.
Dean came out with a big smile.
"Linch has his first son."
"That's great. When did I become a father?" chirps Indra.
"Must be more diligent try dong!" timpal Marianne smiled.
"Hahaha... got you!" ledek Michael on Indra.
"We're taking a break tonight. Let Linch clear things up before he leaves, "broke Dean.
"That's better. I've been very sleepy" said Marianne. He then looked for a position leaning against the wall of the house and began to close his eyes.
