When Akram opened his eyes the sunlight slipping from the half-open window curtain immediately greeted him excitedly, as if impatiently wanting to say hello and say good morning.
He shuffled from his sleeping position and realized that he was currently lying alone on the bed. Akram slowly tried to get up from his sleeping position, but somehow his head felt very dizzy, worse than when he had a hangover yesterday that made him frown in confusion.
What is he really sick about?
Akram touched his own forehead and snorted when he realized that his fever had gone down. There are no signs of flu or other pain. Then, the fever last night may be just a reaction of his body to defend itself against invasion or infection, so when finally his endurance is the one who wins the war, the, only dizziness still haunts him.
Akram kneaded his temples slowly, trying to relieve the unpleasant dizziness. He then looked around and then his conscious mind opened its eyes completely, making him remember what happened last night when he had a fever, albeit vaguely.
She is sick and Elana takes care of her patiently.Seulas smiles appear on Akram's lips when remembering all the events of last night. It seems, Elana will really be a good wife and be able to take care of her husband properly when her husband is sick.
Akram had never been treated personally before. When she was sick as a child, her mother assigned nurses and doctors to watch her intensively, without ever handling her directly. You could say, Akram was completely abandoned as a child, whether he was healthy or sick, he was always alone, because his father was too busy working to take care of his business empire, he said, and her mother is too busy taking care of Xavier which she sees as more in need of help mentally and physically than Akram.
At least if later he has children in his marriage, with Elana as his wife, he can calm down and be sure that his son is in the right hands.
The sound of the door opening made Akram turn his head, and his eyes instantly rubbed against the woman he was thinking about.
Elana. The woman looked fresh this morning, with a bright sun-colored yellow dress, shimmering unraveling hair and a large tray in her hands. His tiny body seemed incompatible with the large tray, so Akram automatically wanted to get up from his seat, trying to help.
“Not... don't.. stay on the bed,” Elana exclaimed when she saw the intention in Akram's eyes, her steps accelerated, hurried to stand beside the bed, he said, then put the tray on the nightstand next to the bed where Akram is sitting now.
Mata Akram glanced towards the tray full of breakfast menu. There is a fragrant scented porridge that still seems to be reflecting hot steam, there are various kinds of warm brown croissants sparkling seductively with a crisp look that is equipped with fragrant and savory homemade butter. There are also cut fruits that have been made a refreshing salad, and also one glass of water, a mixture of rainbow-colored fruit and vegetable juices and a glass of warm tea.
Akram immediately frowned as he scanned the tray, staring at Elana with a disapproving look.
“You shouldn't have brought that big tray alone. The waiters came, didn't they this morning? They should have helped you..”
“Don't blame them,” Elana sat on the edge of the bed, her smile looking bright towards Akram. “They've all been busy helping me prepare a delicious breakfast for you. We prepared some menus because we do not know yet, which one you can eat,” said Elana tilted her head and watched Akram with concern. “Is.... can you roughly eat one of these menus?”
Akram glanced towards the tray, and his forehead furrowed deeper and deeper. “No bacon, eggs, meat and coffee?” he showed dislike.
Elana pursed her lips, looking at Akram as if she was a child who had a sulking hobby.
“Greasy food should not be used, because the doctor said Nathan can trigger nausea. and coffee moreover, you will take medicine, so you should not drink coffee,” said in a firm tone.
Akram watched Elana's face, putting on a flat expression and with all his might hiding the smile that was about to burst out on her face.
Elana had already changed, she even realized it clearly. The woman, who had always tried to get away from him, could now sit close to him without fear, and began to be fierce to him.
Akram is the dominant type of man who does not tolerate disobedience and defiance of any kind, but is completely unaware, that when with Elana, he apparently likes when the woman is fierce to him.
“Are you going to bribe me?” Akram asked slowly, tilting his head to assess Elana's reaction to her question. And what she expected was granted, a tinge of red hue instantly burst out from the side of Elana's cheek, so clear and making her look beautiful in Akram's eyes. This time, Akram could not resist the wide grin that adorned his lips.
Elana slightly looked away, as if avoiding Akram's sharp eyes.
“Didn't you eat by yourself?” elana asked quickly, trying to avoid the intimate task that somehow made her flutter. Never once did it cross her mind that she was going to do such an intimate act like feeding the man.
“I'm a little dizzy,” this time Akram did tell the truth. His head was painful and throbbing. Even so, he was not that dizzy to the point of not being able to eat by himself, he just wanted to force Elana to bribe him. “Will you bribe me?” Akram seemed to ask, but the arrogant tone in his voice was truly undeniable.
Elana finally sighed and decided to give up this time. Akram is a terrible perfectionist, do not hesitate to rebuke if everything is not in accordance with his wishes. But, when the man was sick, he became very fussy and demanding, like a child sulking spoiled every wish unfulfilled.
Elana finally chose to soften her patience, then grabbed the bowl of porridge that was still warm and cupped it in hand.
“Breakfast porridge, yes?” elana asked half in persuasion.
Akram thins his lips. “How else, you just brought me the menu and there was no other choice,” said in an obnoxious flat tone, making Elana want to stomp her feet to vent her annoyance, but of course he didn't.
The porridge was still puffing hot steam so Elana had to blow it several times before feeding it to Akram's lips. One mouthful made it into Akram's mouth, and Elana watched the man curiously.
“Enak?” tanyanya slow.
Akram did not answer, only nodded his head and swallowed the porridge half-heartedly.
Akram chuckles. “In retrospect that was the first time I tried to make porridge,” he recalled.
Akram's cry is contagious, Elana gives another bite to Akram before chiming in his words.
“And come to think of it, it was one of those moments that broke the perfection of Akram Night which is usually always brilliant in doing everything,” said, expressing what was in his mind without a second thought.
His words immediately made Akram turn his head and watch Elana with a serious look.
“Is that how I am in your eyes? Perfect guy who always manages to do anything?” the question was calm, although it was clear that his attitude was demanding that Elana answer honestly. Her eyes watched Elana clingy, before then continuing her sentence. “Then have I perfected in loving you, Elana? What do you really feel for me?”
The question was like a repetition of the turmoil that covered Elana's heart last night. She immediately gasped, because even last night when she was thinking hard to examine her feelings for Akram, Elana ended up lost and confused.
There was no past hatred or resentment in Elana's heart against Akram. He forgave the man. Entirely. Forgive completely because it is accompanied by forgetting.
Now, when looking at Akram, what Elana felt was the acceptance of fate that bound them both. The path is like this, his meeting with Akram may also have been outlined by an inevitable destiny, so Elana must try to accept it all with a chest of air.
But does he love Akram?
That's what still makes Elana confused. However, Elana had no previous experience regarding her closeness to a man.
Akram was the first of all for Elana. And that is what makes Elana afraid, because the close feeling she felt towards Akram could not be love, but is it a woman's close feeling to the man who gives her first experience in everything?
“No.” Akram tilted his head to refuse when Elana gave no answer for him and chose to dip the porridge again in his mouth. “That's enough. I am full and a little nauseous,” said Akram then with fixed eyes watching Elana.
Elana nodded her head nervously, trying to avoid the piercing glare.
“I'll prepare your medicine. You want to drink fruit juice? Or white water? Tea does not seem like a good choice because of your medicine..”.
“White water only,” Akram interrupted quickly, his expression did not change, as if still trying to browse the depths of Elana's heart. The man then let Elana help him drink, and after that, silence stretched between them, making the unpleasant nuance even more real.
That sharp look made Elana a little nervous. He did not want Akram to keep asking about his feelings because for now, he still could not confirm it. Unfortunately, it was impossible to avoid Akram when the man already wanted an answer.
“Isn't there even a speck of your love for me?” Akram returned to the chase with a demanding question, not giving Elana a chance to sigh.
Elana looked at Akram deeply, knowing that the only way to deal with Akram was to be honest.
“I never knew what it was like to fall in love…. I mean, I had no previous experience. So I can't even examine my own feelings,” she said slowly, expressing her confusion.
Akram's eyes softened, his fingers moved cupped Elana's cheeks.
“Do you miss when I'm not around?” his tan slowly faded the demanding tone in his voice.
Elana tilted her head as if thinking, then she finally nodded shyly.
“You... usually there is always, so when you are not there like when I lived alone in this house, it feels a bit strange..
“And miss? You want me to be next to you?” chase Akram won't give up.
For a moment Elana hesitated, then finally she nodded her head, making Akram's grin widen.
“Then you miss. You're not sick of me touching you like this, are you?”
This time Elana quickly nodded. Honestly, no matter when, he no longer felt fear, disgust or coercion when Akram crossed the line between them and approached him tightly.
Akram chuckles. “When you're not by your side, you think of me?” tanyakanya.
Elana nodded her head again. He did think of Akram when the man was not around. His forehead wrinkled, staring at Akram with an inquisitive look.
“Does that mean I love you?” he hesitated, enduring shame.
Once again Akram chuckled, his gaze turning fondly, while his hand rubbed Elana's hair like rubbing a child's hair.
“Not yet, but my efforts seem to be halfway through. For now you can doubt your feelings for me. Its alright. I will not force my will upon you. Enough for me if you think of me endlessly. I'm sure one day you'll love me too..” Akram brought his face closer to Elana's face and kissed her lips slowly. “Even if you still can't love me, I'll be selfish and won't let you go. You may not love me, but you, your body, must remain by my side for the rest of your life, and I will shower you with my love,” Akram crushed Elana's lips slowly before muttering there. “Because of my love for you, it is big enough to overflow our married life later,” he continued in a sure tone.
Elana was speechless as the man pulled Elana into his arms, drowned Elana's face in her chest and rubbed her back tightly, as if that way, Elana could feel Akram's sincerity, she said, which he had never felt to another woman before.

The drug made Akram sleep well afterwards, and Elana gave the man a chance to rest and recuperate by closing the door and keeping the situation around the house calm.
The chef who was on duty had finished the menu for lunch and dinner and kept it in the storage cabinet while not forgetting to write down the heating and serving stage to Elana in detail and left it on the kitchen table.
After that, the Chef, along with the maid who was on a goodbye duty to return to the main house of Akram. Elana deliberately let everyone go, and assured them that Akram's condition had improved so that she could handle it alone. After all, there was Nathan's doctor's number on his phone so that if something happened, Elana could immediately contact the doctor to come check.
Now, after closing the door and stepping back into the living room, Elana glanced at the wide-open glass window there, then commented with a smile when she realized that it was raining outside. First is just a small irregular speckle, then connected with the heavy rain, creating a pleasant feel of water mist.
Elana's heart felt light. Never before had he felt this peaceful. It was as if his entire life burden was lifted and there was only happiness left.
Even so, somehow Elana felt scared. He's never felt like this before. A sense of calm where he does not need to think about what will eat tomorrow, no need to peek at the wallet and calculate how he survived with very minimal money, there is no need to feel sadness when staring at good foods that are devoured by rich people while he is only able to stare at them because he is unable to give them…
Is this sense of calm that makes him start to be able to accept Akram and feel comfortable around him? Or does he really like the man personally, as a man who loves him?
