Episode 72: Changes in Charms

“Plan-slow,”

Michaela half forced her big stepbrother to speed up to follow her. They were currently walking towards the back wing of the house where Akram Night's beloved woman was locked up.

It was late at night but many were still awake at Dimitri's house. Since there were currently important prisoners kept at home and had to be kept well for the success of the negotiation process, Dimitri placed a large number of armed guards around his house.

Most of the men were equipped with special weapons and capable killing abilities, some were mercenaries who were paid handsomely for the sake of adding strength to Dimitri. Because Dimitri knew that Akram Night and Xavier Night both had great power, if the two men chose to risk a bloody assault and take Elana by force, he said, so Dimitri had prepared a great force and was ready to face their attacks that could happen at any time.

Inside the house itself, there were only a few guards that passed by bans in the hallways and around the house just in case. Meanwhile, in front of Elana's room, her guard was special and tightened. There were nearly ten guards there and Michaela knew that she had to be able to evict them all in order for her plan to succeed.

Instantly Michaela laughed seductively while winking seducing eyes. “I have obtained permission from Dimitri, he allowed me to come to visit and entertain our guests as fellow women. You can call Dimitri directly if you don't believe me, of course I can't guarantee that Dimitri rebukes and scolds you for calling him for something as trivial as he is today. Elana was sitting on the edge of the bed while linking her two fingers that were sweating from anxiety.

The sound of the door opening made Elana detach from her chest-stifling daydream, she raised her head and frowned when she saw an unusually beautiful female figure seem to step into the room, it was followed by a large, monstrous-looking man behind him.

“Si... Who are you?” for some reason the evil smile and hateful eyes on the beautiful woman's face immediately implied a bad premonition in Elana's heart. His hands clenched while his body stiffened full of vigilance.

“I am your angel of death,” Michaela answered viciously, put the tray in her hand to the table, then turned her head towards Tedy. “Come, Tedy. Do your job right!” while saying so, Michaela took out the phone from her hand, intending to record the horrifying evidence that would definitely make Akram Night unusually disgusted at this woman in front of him.

But unfortunately, what was wanted by Teddy was not accomplished, not yet managed to master Elana, his body was suddenly pulled back to the end of the bed. Then there was the sound of a loud explosion echoing in the room, greeted by a loud scream of pain Tedy blaring.

Tedy's body immediately fell curled to the floor near the foot of the bed, slouching with the pain while his hand held his shoulder which was shot from close range.

Michaela's screams rang out from near the door, filled with horror when she saw how Tedy collapsed from being shot. He could do nothing because Dimitri's two bodyguards blocked his arms on the left and right sides, so strong that he could not struggle to escape.

Dimitri who was holding a gun and had just shot it towards Tedy narrowed his eyes and looked towards Elana. His eyes swept over Elana with a one-time look, then angrily the man turned his body, stepped towards Michaela and swung his hand to slap Michaela's cheek with a loud punch.

“Stupid woman! You almost foiled all my plans!” Dimitri shouted, snapping with a gasp of anger. He is caught off guard and does not expect that Michaela will act cunningly, driven by her jealousy as a woman. Apparently, her lover still harbors feelings for Akram Night! “This female cage is in the room until I can take care of it later!” dimitri rudely moved his hand, showing an unforgiving attitude of expulsion.

“Dimitri..” Michaela's cheeks swelled up as a result of Dimitri's slap, she tried to persuade her lover, but apparently Dimitri's anger was too great to be extinguished.

“Shut! Just wait, I'll beat you up!” sidelines Dimitri without listening to anything that was about to be removed from Michaela's lips, then turned his body as if he did not want to see how Michaela who was screaming begging and calling his name, dragged away by his men.

Dimitri again stepped closer to the bed, towards Elana who was still panting and trying to reassemble her almost evaporating consciousness was gone. At once Elana's body stiffened, filled with great horror. Moreover, on the floor near the end of his bed, there was still a large monstrous figure that was about to attack him, the disgusting man was heard still puffing out full of agonizing moans.

“Quiet, I won't hurt you,” Dimitri said slowly. His thumb swept the corner of Elana's lips that were still bleeding, his eyes peeling towards the surface of Elana's neck skin that was flushed from the fingers of Tedy gripping there. Not to mention Elana's wrist that started to turn dark pitifully red.

Unfortunately, this woman in front of him apparently has sensitive skin that bruises easily with just a little rough pressure.

The plan had to be changed by emergency due to this incident. Akram Night and Xavier Light could not see their beloved woman bruised all over her body. It could jeopardize the opportunity that was already wide open before his eyes to control the arms company owned by Akram and Xavier.

With Elana conditions like this, the bargaining power of Dimitri is no longer above the wind. He might even ignite the anger of Akram and Xavier, until they broke the entire agreement he was about to propose.

“Keep this guy. Move our prisoner to another room and call in a medic to treat him. Do whatever it takes to hold so that the marks on the surface of his skin do not turn blue too quickly,” Dimitri issued a series of commands with a tense voice towards his men who immediately moved. He knew that he had to act quickly and make sure the entire acquisition process was completed before the bruises on Elana's body became clear to the eye.

“Call my lawyer here and send someone to visit Xavier Night's house to inform you that the captive exchange offer and the company's acquisition agreement will be made here, right now. Get ready everyone, we will receive two very strong important guests tonight!” dimitri's expression turned evil when suddenly the anger that was clumping within him turned into a brilliant idea, he stared at the figure of Tedy who was still groaning and complaining due to a shot on his shoulder and then his grin widened.

He stopped his two men who were about to drag Tedy away. “Wait first. I think I know who can be sent to the enemy lair to send invitations for Akram Night and Xavier Light,”
