“What?” Xavier widened his eyes in surprise. “How could he have made doctor Nathan his hostage? How can you let Nathan's doctor get close to Aaron if you can't confirm his safety yet?”

Derek lowered his head, looking embarrassed and feeling guilty.

“Aaron uses high dose sedative filled syringe as his weapon.” Derek apparently did not bother to call Aaron as Oberon doctor again in accordance with his physical appearance. This hostage incident makes him instantly know that the man is really Aaron in disguise. “We've run security protocols and searched Aaron, but the size of the syringe is very small, it almost resembles the size of a pencil and is placed in an inner pocket area covered with a thick layer of skin until it is not palpable from the outside. This is indeed a pure mistake from us, I will not look for reasons to defend myself.”

Derek looked regretful, the man lowered his head and stood there, as if ready to receive punishment.

Xavier thinned his lips with eyes glistening furiously at the carelessness of his men. It was not Derek who did the search at the time, but still they were working on that supervision of Derek as their leader. Their misbehavior has brought problems and put Nathan's life under threat.

“B-what about Nathan's doctor now? What happened?” sera's lips trembled as she forced herself into a voice and asked Derek. His mind immediately fell into a frenzy when he imagined the fate of Doctor Nathan.

Just like Derek, as soon as Sera heard about the hostage case that occurred, the doubt that had existed was immediately extinct. Sera can immediately accept Xavier's words that Oberon's doctor is now Aaron in disguise. If that person really was the real Oberon doctor, then that man would definitely not feel the need to fight all out when he wanted to have his blood drawn. The fact that the man did not want to have his blood drawn for proof was enough evidence to confirm his identity.

The fact that Oberon's doctor is Aaron in disguise, makes Sera feel anxious. Over the years of living and growing up with Aaron, Sera also knew Aaron very well. He knows how Aaron is. The man will do reckless things beyond expectations, if indeed his condition is desperate. His behavior is what makes Aaron always managed to save his life in the crucial moments that several times threatened him. Now that Aaron is using Nathan's doctor as a hostage, it means that Aaron can do all the reckless things he can do and threaten Nathan's life. Doctor Nathan's life is really in danger.

Derek looked towards Sera with a regretful look. “We have not managed to save Doctor Nathan, nor are we still weighing to do an ambush because the tip of the needle is very close to the neck of doctor Nathan and ready to be stuck if we make a hasty movement.” Derek took a long breath. “Currently we followed from a safe distance as Aaron dragged doctor Nathan down the hospital building and towards the basement floor. I think, Aaron was about to head to his own car and escape.”

“How about a sniper?” Xavier was quick and when he felt Sera gasp, the man turned his head towards his wife and grinned. “I don't want to shoot Aaron in the head at this hospital, even though I really want to do it now.” Xavier added his sentence in a very cruel tone. “Firing Aaron with a sharp bullet and spilling blood will only make a fuss and attract people's attention. Besides, I don't need a bullet if I have poison. If it finds a position, my snipers will shoot poison into Aaron's neck to knock him out.”

Derek nodded his head to agree to Xavier's words, then immediately answered his previous superior's question.

“Snipers cannot attack inside the basement because of the low roof conditions and blocked by poles and full of cars. However, we placed some snipers in tall buildings who could take aim when the car came out of the basement. We assumed that Aaron would have Nathan's doctor drive his car under the threat of a syringe as a hostage. The situation on the ground was very difficult because the basement was directly connected to a hospital park full of tall trees and blocking the view to shoot, he said, coupled with the possibility of a car that drove at full power when aiming later. But those snipers will do whatever they can to aim for Aaron. Right now, the bodyguards can't keep up because Aaron has repeatedly threatened that he will stab Nathan's doctor with the syringe if we follow too closely.”

“Make sure the snipers are trying hard to aim at Aaron.” Xavier gave the order without hesitation with a stifled angry expression filled with a sharp glint in his eyes.

Sera watched Xavier's expression, then the woman asked slowly.

“What is your poison...Poison that can directly kill Aaron?” Sera asked then in a frightened tone.

There was no doubt in Xavier's tone of voice as the man replied later.

“I won't lie to you, Sera. I'll kill Aaron without hesitation. You know if Aaron risked Nathan's life, then I wouldn't hesitate to kill him. Tell the whole army that Nathan's life is primary. Don't do anything recklessly that might put Nathan's life in danger.” Xavier stared fixedly at Sera and his expression softened. “Throw away your guilt, Sera. That bad guy doesn't deserve your sympathy.”

Xavier bent down and brought Sera's hand to her mouth before tasting the back of her hand gently. “Rest, let me take care of this. I will try to get the best results. Akram will also definitely come to help me, so don't mind too much and focus yourself on sleeping. Derek and the guards will tighten the perimeter of the guard against you and against our baby, so you can calm down.” Xavier spoke as if to take an oath. “I won't let Aaron reach you and our children, Sera. I won't let Doctor Nathan fall victim either, I'll save him.”

Sera nodded her head. No matter how mixed he feels about the truth about Aaron Xavier throws at him, he knows that he must trust Xavier completely. Xavier will take the most appropriate decision. If Xavier had to kill Aaron, Sera would have done nothing to prevent him, nor would he blame Xavier for his decision.

The pain of being betrayed and deceived for years, makes Sera feel numb when it comes to Aaron. It was as if a speck of lingering flavor settled in the depths of his heart was forcefully plucked out just like that and left a bloody wound there, making Sera seem to close the door to her heart and feelings and not want to think about Aaron anymore because it feels too painful.

Sera then touched her hand to Xavier's hand and spoke in a hopeful tone.

“Tell me whatever happens later,” anxiety still color his eyes until it makes Xavier unable to resist giving a soft kiss on Sera's lips to calm her down.

“I'll do it. Derek will tell you his progress over time. Now go to sleep and calm yourself,” gently Xavier encourages Sera to lie down again before then stepping away from the room.

Doctor Nathan's body was forced to be dragged in the footsteps of Aaron who seemed to be in fidelity, he moved quickly through the hospital hallway and continued down the elevator and continued to walk towards the back door of the hospital to then pass the path in the middle of the hospital garden that pierced into the large door directed to the basement floor specifically for the location of the doctor's parking.

Xavier's bodyguards follow a safe distance. They can do nothing but follow because Aaron, who looks reckless not a pussy, still uses a syringe near Doctor Nathan's neck and threatens to stab him.

Aaron's steps are dragged as he grips Nathan's doctor and pulls him across the street in the doctor's parking area to look for his car parked there. Doctor Nathan himself can't do anything. He knew that Aaron had darkened his eyes and that the needle had stuck to the tip on the surface of his neck, creating an itch like an ant bite that could not be scratched. There was nothing that Nathan's doctor could do but follow Aaron's steps because he knew, once he made a sudden move, he said, Aaron could have stuck the needle with the high dose of sedative into his neck and killed him. The same thing was apparently thought by Xavier's bodyguards who followed, it was all seen from their movements that were very careful to follow from a safe distance, trying hard so as not to provoke Aaron to reckless behavior.

They have also followed Xavier's instructions and put some snipers on standby in some tall buildings who can access Aaron's position when he gets out of the car later. Because the basement area is downhill, the snipers can't attack Aaron in here and have to wait until Aaron's out.

“ You will regret this, Aaron.” Doctor Nathan spoke slowly, trying to persuade persuasively to put Aaron's common sense back in place.

Unfortunately, it even made Aaron thin his lips.

“I'll never regret fighting to save my life.” Aaron glanced towards the bodyguards who were following quietly behind them. Aaron knows that he will not be released easily and will be attacked immediately if he relaxes vigilance. “Log in!” aron loudly gave orders to Nathan's doctor, opening the car door in the passenger section next to the driver's seat.

Doctor Nathan could do nothing but obey what Aaron ordered, however, the needle was still stuck on the surface of his neck skin, ready to stab at any time.

When Nathan's doctor comes in, Aaron apparently doesn't intend to release the man anytime soon. His head turned towards the bodyguards who were following before then shouting out loud.

“I don't want to be followed!” he exclaimed with a loud tone of voice to echo throughout the basement area of this parking floor. “If I see you guys following this car, I'll stab Nathan's doctor and kill him!” then with a strong voice.

His words made the eyes of doctor Nathan who was already sitting in the car widen, he stared at Aaron with full warning only to be pushed later.

“Be quiet and don't move!” Aaron is still standing outside the door and blocking Nathan's doctor while still threatening his syringe to Nathan's neck. His mind was thinking fast, spinning around looking for a way out. He knew that Xavier had the snipers he would definitely place in the strategic high area out there to aim for him. The man was famous for his gruesome sniper squad, for not firing ordinary live bullets, but firing poison-filled bullets.

Aaron didn't want to die silly under the sniper's fire, nor did he want to be put in a bad situation where Xavier managed to capture him alive. It was fortunate that what was fired was a murderous poison that made Aaron die instantly. If what was fired was poison only used to anesthetize him, Xavier would have locked him up and imprisoned him, then tortured him in a terrible way by using various types of poison before killing him.

Well, then, Aaron couldn't have Nathan sitting behind the wheel. It will make the sniper will shoot him immediately when this car comes out of the basement without hesitation.

Aaron won't let Xavier get what he wants, he won't give up. After weighing in quickly, Aaron nodded his head, satisfied with his calculations.

Yeah, he's the one who's gonna be driving this car at a really high speed out of the basement.

He would threaten the life of Dr. Nathan with the threat of crashing a car very strongly and committing suicide by taking Dr. Nathan with him. Snipers will also hesitate to shoot him if he is behind the wheel, speeding at high speed. Because, if the shooter was aiming at him while he was driving, if, it could have made the car he was driving at high speed rolled or hit very hard to endanger the doctor Nathan who was in the car with him.

Aaron looked towards the lower side of the passenger seat. There was a small drawer containing the items he had prepared. “Do not move or you die.” Aaron's threat is not a joke because while looking for one hand, Aaron is still keeping his hand so that the tip of the syringe is still close to the surface of the skin of Doctor Nathan, ready to stab him if the doctor fights back.

Next to Aaron's hand took the transparent black zip cable that was there. The man took two and looked at Doctor Nathan arrogantly.

“Pair this at your feet, as tight as possible,” the command is fierce.

Doctor Nathan raised his eyebrows.

Aaron's attitude showed that he was serious about his words. Inevitably, he receives the zip cable from Aaron's hand and bends down to attach it to his leg with the tip of the needle still threatening him.

Initially, Nathan's doctor intended to put it on rather loosely so that he had a chance to escape. Unfortunately, Aaron's careful eyes are seen watching and immediately know the hidden intentions of doctor Nathan. The tip of the needle immediately pierced slightly, injuring the surface of his skin.

“Install a toned one!” Shouted Aaron in an angry tone. “Quick!” half hysterical again.

Doctor Nathan tightened his molars, inevitably he put the zip cable up tight, dashing his own hopes of being able to run and fight.

After Nathan's doctor put a fastener on his leg, Aaron was not satisfied. The man moved his hand to check and his lips immediately reviewed a satisfied smile when he knew that the binding cable had been attached with the firmness level he wanted.

“Hands.” Aaron asked back in an arrogant tone. Now that Nathan's legs are tied and the man can't move freely, Aaron is more relaxed. The man held the zip cable with one hand and slightly distanced the tip of the syringe from the doctor's neck. “Give both your hands now.”

Doctor Nathan wants to fight back, but he can't. Furious he handed her his hand and let Aaron put the zip cable so tightly that it caused a red mark on his wrist.

After Nathan's doctor was tied to his hands and feet, Aaron completely relaxed, the man pulled his hand that had threatened the syringe to the doctor's neck and grinned with satisfaction.

“Now, sit down and shut up. Be nice as my hostage then your lifespan can be a little longer,” threatened then with an arrogant tone.

Doctor Nathan thinned his lips.

“Bringing me as your hostage won't do you any good, Aaron. You won't be able to get away from Xavier.”

Mentioning Xavier's name seemed to be a mistake as Aaron's expression instantly changed filled with a very real anger.

“We'll see later,” Aaron said cynically, his eyes staring at the helpless doctor Nathan as he tied his hands and feet and a terrible smile instantly appeared on his lips. “You'll see if the Xavier you adore will save you or not. You could have died quickly before he could have saved you. It will make you die in vain, doctor.”

With a determined attitude, Aaron bent down and tightened his seatbelt on Nathan's body so that the man could not move freely before slamming the car door, then move as fast as lightning towards the other side of the car to get to the driver's seat area before the bodyguards can aim or summarize it.

Aaron let out a long sigh as he managed to sit behind the wheel safely. The syringe that was the savior of his life was held by him with trembling hands. Aaron immediately placed the precious weapon in a safe dashboard drawer before then letting out a long sigh. It was like escaping the threat of loss of life that hit him. Adrenalin mixed with relief flooded his body, making Aaron take some time before finally being able to get in control and start his car.

“If you follow me, I will crash or drop my car into the ravine and kill myself along with Doctor Nathan!” Aaron shouted loudly from the window, making sure everyone heard him, then he drove the car and drove it fast, drove up the road uphill and out of the basement area of the parking lot.

While driving, Aaron glanced at the doctor Nathan next to him and thinned his lips with determination. Aaron's eyes glanced towards the drawer where he had kept his syringe, and a vicious glint instantly appeared there.

Once they're completely out of the stalkers and on the freeway where Aaron really broke away, he'll directly inject Nathan's doctor and kill him, he threw his body into the street before fleeing alone and effectively hiding.

Xavier is unaware that Aaron is coming to this country with full preparation. He had a hiding place that Xavier would not be able to reach. That place will be the safest and most appropriate location to prepare Aaron's plan against Sera.

Well, the plan will be done sooner than he thinks. However, it's not a problem. Aaron just needs to manage to break away this time. After that, everything will go according to his will.

“Snipers failed to aim.”

This time it was Elios who received the information and relayed it to Akram and Xavier who were both gathered in the sitting room available on the hospital floor. Elios takes over the information channels and serves as an intermediary for effective communication to inform the latest developments of Aaron's disabling efforts, as Derek is the team leader, placed by Xavier specifically to coordinate the care arrangements of Sera and her children.

Akram's eyes darkened as he listened to the information.

“Why did they fail to do so?” ask Akram in an impatient tone.

“They said that Aaron performed an unexpected maneuver by placing Nathan's doctor into the passenger seat and tying him up. After that, Aaron took over the wheel and drove it at high speed. He threatened to crash and topple the car if troops pursued him. The snipers were also hesitant to shoot because Aaron was behind the wheel. In any case, shooting a driver who is driving a car at high speed, will endanger his passengers as well.” Elios explained at length with a sorry attitude.

Akram glanced at Xavier who was standing stiffly while facing the outer window which displayed a clear sky view from the high floor of the hospital.

“Your enemy seems desperate and does not think about his life anymore. I didn't expect him to be smart enough to find a way to save himself.” Akram frowned deeply. “If there was no Nathan there, I would have blown up that car without a second thought. Now, what are you going to do, Xavier?” Akram asks later, asking for an opinion because he knows that he must be careful and careless in this regard, considering that there is a doctor Nathan's life at stake here.

Xavier squinted, then decided quickly.

“Prepare silent helicopter.” The silent helicopter is one of the products of Akram's arsenal. The helicopter is equipped with high technology so that it can sneak in camouflage without making any noise like that in ordinary helicopters. Akram produces the helicopter to fulfill a military order from the government, but Xavier knows that the man owns one private helicopter that he uses for his own sake.

“Put two snipers on either side, and have the silent helicopter follow the car driven by Aaron,”.
