EOTL eps 59: Enchanted
"Why did you do that?"
Dimitri took a sip of his drink, staring at Aaron who was sitting quietly and daydreaming while looking at the view of the clouds floating in the outer window of the plane. Their journey back to Russia has just begun and Dimitri is not even willing to waste his time discussing about the incident caused by Aaron before. He still remains inexhaustible as to why Aaron chose to take his revenge by verbally attacking Sera.
Aaron took his eyes off the outside window when he heard Dimitri's question, the man then thinned his lips before replying,
"I did it on purpose" he replied in a flat tone.
"What profit do you get by doing that, isn't it just a loss that you will get? I still can't figure out why you chose to attack Serafina Moon, when she should have been an important pawn that would have been beneficial to you if she was still on your side."
"Still on my side? Sera was the one who told Xavier about the mini-mobile I smuggled into him. He's the one who got me and Sabina stuck in this weird circle. You know, that morning before I saved myself by stabbing Xavier, that cunning man was trying to kill me and sadly, his actions were supported by Sera!" Aaron's breathing seemed to be panting in anger. "I think Sera is no longer of any use, the only function she can give is to be bait to lure Xavier."
"Wait to fish Xavier? Whatchu mean?" Dimitri tilted his head, staring curiously.
"After what I did to Sera earlier, the woman will definitely complain to Xavier immediately. You think once Xavier finds out that I insulted Sera rudely, then that guy will just let me go?" Aaron grinned ironically. "Cannot be. Look at it later, Xavier's gonna come after me."
"You deliberately hurt Sera's feelings with a rude sentence, because you want to be chased by Xavier?" Dimitri completely doesn't understand Aaron's strange way of thinking, he starts to think that Aaron took a crazy decision likely because Aaron's brain has been damaged by a poison that once stained his blood flow.
"Yes. That's my aim. The current Xavier did let me go, thanks to you, it must be because of your protection. I don't think Xavier wants to make trouble with a most powerful mafia leader in Russia like you." Aaron threw a compliment without realizing that a smile full of irony instantly appeared on Dimitri's lips.
He continued his sentence with a fiery tone.
"However, I've learned that Xavier is a vengeful man who can't just let go of his potential victims. Did you forget how he chased my uncle and aunt and killed them mercilessly? I guess, he was waiting for the right moment to take revenge on me. I purposely demeaned Sera for the sake of giving her a strong reason not to forget her grudge against me."
"For what? Are you stupid? It's good you're safe and out of Xavier's reach. Why are you even challenging Xavier Light? Have you forgotten that he is so dangerous and almost never has his enemy escaped if he decides to go after him? You're wasting my efforts getting you out of here and looking to die?"
Dimitri could not hide his irritation when he said. Many things he had to take care of, including his own condition was still contaminated with Xavier's poison, so there was still a bomb in his body that could explode at any time. Not to mention, the matter of Sabina who was still 'slaughtered' was forcefully in Akram Night's watch.
Dimitri should be able to focus on cleaning up his own interests, but instead, he must be the stupid and ungrateful baby sitter Aaron.
Had Aaron focused on his own future and forgotten about Xavier or Serafina, the problem would have been solved, Dimitri would not have bothered to take care of it. However, with Aaron forgetting himself and instead wanting to challenge Xavier, it looks like Dimitri's task will be even tougher in the future.
I'm sure Aaron will be a problem in the future. This man didn't realize, that if it wasn't for Xavier giving him the antidote serum for Serafina Moon, then Aaron would have been dying and dying.
"So, what are your plans for revenge? You're gonna gather strength and come to Xavier?" Dimitri asked back, unable to hide the curious tone in his voice. He was wondering if there was a chance for him to persuade Aaron to just cancel his intention.
Aaron shook his head, his eyes flashed wickedly.
"I've been building my own strength for a long time. I have an army that I formed secretly and have very great strength. It's not as much as your army, because they were designed to forcibly seize the inheritance and power of Roman Dawn if my uncle wouldn't give it to me voluntarily. But now it is not necessary because my uncle has already***** himself and automatically left his inheritance to me. So, I'll use my army for something else." Aaron grinned widely. "To attack Xavier" he continued with a vengeful look.
The wrinkle on Dimitri's forehead deepened.
"You're on the country blacklist for trespassing and now you've been deported. In fact, for yourself to enter the country where Xavier was, it would be very difficult, how could you smuggle your troops there?" argue with skepticism.
"I've calculated it. That's why I attacked Sera." Aaron's eyes flashed with danger. "I'm not going to go to Xavier, but that's the guy who's going to come and chase me to Russia. At that time, me and my troops, of course with the help of your troops will also subdue him. We are in our own country with great centralized power, while Xavier is just a guest who will surely only bring limited resources. Isn't that an ideal situation? We can slaughter Xavier so badly that there's nothing left of him to take back home."

Sera wanted to glare at Xavier, kicking his shins to warn the man not to over-act. Unfortunately, he knew that he could not do that in front of so many people, especially in front of Liliana who was watching with a dumbfounded look as if in disbelief.
"You're married?" Liliana cleared her throat for a moment, trying to control herself from the shock that struck. His eyes glanced back at Sera with a half-doubtful appraising look, as if thinking that Xavier might be joking or was on the line.
Finally Liliana decided to refute to be sure again.
"But there is no news about your marriage. Aren't people like you supposed to be celebrating weddings on a big scale and being announced to audiences?" Liliana immediately showed her disbelief with a stern voice that was deliberately hardened. He still could not accept that the Xavier Light he adored, was already married.
"Who needs it?" Xavier raised an eyebrow, deliberately acting obnoxious.
Liliana gulped. He had thought that Xavier would explain or refute his conclusion completely. But it turned out that the man threw the question back at him with a rhetorical question that really didn't need an answer.
Dazed at what to say, Liliana immediately glanced at Sera, scanning with a sinister gaze, looking for weakness. His eyes found that there was nothing special about the woman, let alone that she looked pale and puffy-eyed without makeup.
What did Xavier see from the woman? It can't be that kind of woman that Xavier chose to be his wife, right?
A Xavier who has a brilliant physical appearance, should pair with someone who can compensate, for example is himself, he is more commensurate with Xavier when viewed from any point of view. Liliana sat in a slightly angry manner, feeling offended at being defeated by the woman she considered to be far below her level.
Liliana's eyebrows shot up when she couldn't help but throw a blatant insulting glance at Sera. After that, he returned his gaze to Xavier while not forgetting to present his fake smile.
"Although I still can't believe that you're married.but, seeing how the appearance of the woman you recognize as your wife, then I can understand why you keep your marriage a secret...," his hiss with a thick mocking tone.
Xavier's body stiffened and a dangerous aura instantly poured out from him when he heard Liliana's implied insults directly addressed to Sera.
"Are you saying that I kept my marriage a secret because I was ashamed of my wife?" Xavier's voice growled, his calm faded, ignited in anger.
The tense nuance instantly gaped between Xavier and Liliana, as if Xavier was restraining his killing appetite and not strangling Liliana right then and there.
Then suddenly and unexpectedly, Serafina decided to take a little step forward, one hand then held Xavier's arm as if asking Xavier to back off. Sera creates the impression that he is the one who will take over, to make Xavier's anger that was ready to explode, immediately restrained.
Next to Sera's free hand he moved out to Liliana, making Liliana surprised and confused by it.
"Miss Liliana." Sera's voice sounded calm without emotion."Do you see this ring on my ring finger?"
Sera brought her finger closer so that Liliana could more clearly see a wedding ring that Xavier had given her. A satisfied smile fell on his lips as he saw Liliana's eyes widen, recognizing the beauty of the ring as something special ordered and second to none in the world that had a very expensive price. "This ring is our wedding ring, Xavier's name is written here, as well as the ring worn by my husband, Xavier Light. This ring that binds us together certainly confirms our marriage." Sera stared intently at Liliana.
He saw Liliana stunned, as if the woman did not think that the shy girl who hid behind Xavier and looked weak, was able to advance ferociously like a lioness who was ready to attack prey.
But, of course Liliana would not give up just being bullied like that. If the female named Sera challenged her like a lioness, then Liliana could easily turn into an equally powerful tiger. He did not want to lose, he would not be able to become the top position in this hotel if he could be bullied easily by an ordinary girl like Sera.
"Ah, of course a ring can be a proof of marriage, and of course I must congratulate you both on your marriage." Liliana sighed in a made-up dramatic style. "But, I only regret that such a famous Xavier Light, had to do a secret wedding just because he wanted to hide his bride. Are you sad to hide like that? As if, you are not recognized. If I were you, when I was the bride of an incredible Xavier Light, I would be sad to not be able to show off my wedding to the audience, my husband is ashamed to acknowledge me as his wife." Liliana put on an innocent face decorated with a sweet smile, but the last sentence she added was mean and demeaning.
Sera did not back down. The woman instead raised her head and looked towards Liliana with deliberate arrogance.
"But I'm not you. I'm Xavier Light's wife and not you. I don't need to show off my marriage to an audience just to get recognition for what I already have. My absolute husband has become mine and can't escape me." Sera answered softly with a raining sentence. "In addition, we have a sacred wedding ceremony that is deliberately attended only by important people, including your superiors, Mr. Akram Night and Mrs Elana Night. Sorry if you are not on the list of important people who are eligible to attend our wedding. However, you must remember that this husband of mine is one of the largest shareholders of the Night corporation, and based on your status that is only one of the employees of the small milil branch of the Night Corporation, Night Corporation, then you don't deserve to receive happy tidings from us."
"Oh, but since you have congratulated me, of course my husband and I must take it well." Sera's hand that had only touched Xavier's arm suddenly moved in a circle there, and her body followed later, swaying spoiled while raising her head and looking at her husband affectionately. "Isn't that right, honey? One congratulation, even if only from ordinary employees, we must appreciate, right?"
Xavier. More precisely, he was fascinated. Never suspected that awkward women who always run away because they lose to him, can become fiery and strong like this when fighting other women, to win it.
His grin widened, showing his mood filled with excitement vividly. Xavier then embraced Sera's waist tightly and presented her with a gentle kiss of passion at the woman's temple.
"We have to appreciate it, of course." Xavier's head nodded, showing his approval. The man then turned his head back towards Liliana who was as if dumbfounded. The woman was at a loss for words, just standing pale there as if she had just been slapped all-out. Xavier himself immediately put on his sweetest smile. His hand then stretched out toward Liliana, looking up with a demanding attitude. "Thank you for your congratulations on our marriage Miss Liliana. Now, where's our room key card? You know, my wife has made me more rushed than ever."

As soon as the doors of the special elevator of VVIP guests who brought them to the top floor of this magnificent building closed, Sera's tense body immediately went out as if losing its supporting strength. The woman then let out a long sigh and leaned her body against the elevator wall.
Xavier leaning on the opposite side of the elevator seemed to be resting his body on the stick he was holding, while his face was adorned with a smile as he watched Sera closely.
Sera herself frowned, returning Xavier's gaze in bewilderment.
"Why are you looking at me smiling like that?" tanyanya fast.
"Because I'm fascinated by you." Xavier immediately replied in a straightforward shameless tone. "Just this time, there was a woman who bravely puffed up her chest in order to claim her ownership of me. I'm flattered by it."
Sera's cheeks immediately turned red in embarrassment, but she tried hard to hide it by putting on a gluttonous attitude as a mask of protection.
"Don't big head Xavier Light. I'm not one of those adoring women who would claw and elbow each other to have you. I attacked Liliana because she attacked me personally, has nothing to do with you" Sera said in self-defense.
Xavier chuckles. "Just keep you enchanting me, Serafina Moon. I'm happy when a woman staunchly defends me as her own. It makes me so excited."
Sera's eyes bought, exasperated half-dead to Xavier who insisted.
"I told you I didn't do it for you...." Sera's voice screeched in surprise when Xavier suddenly stepped forward to approach her.
Despite using a stick to support his body, it was still that the man exuded an intimidating aura that made Sera's guts shrink from it. "What do you want?"
"I want to kiss you. I've wanted to take you in arms and colonize your lips." Xavier replied insolently. Next to his hand cupped Sera's cheek while he was standing very close in front of Sera, almost pressing Sera's back to the elevator wall behind him.
"Don't do that!" Sera yells. Subconsciously his hand raised and closed to the lips of Xavier who had already bowed his head tightly towards him and prepared to kiss him. Only that hand was the savior of his limiting lips, so that Xavier's lips could not touch him. "You're crazy, huh? It's in the elevator. Didn't you see a camera installed in the corner of the room?" hardik Sera was annoyed, still with his palm covering Xavier's lips.
Xavier smiles. The man then grabs Sera's wrist and presents a kiss on Sera's palm cupping her mouth. The warm friendly kiss made Sera gasp and immediately tried to pull her hand from Xavier's grasp. Unfortunately, Xavier has no intention of letting go anytime soon. The man indeed lowered Sera's hand from his lips, but still held her tightly.
"You're right. Why would I kiss you in the elevator if I had a nice room up there that I could use to my fullest to complete my passion for you?" Just as Xavier finished his sentence, the elevator door opened.
The man immediately pulled Sera's hand out of the elevator, sighing Sera to follow in his footsteps.
"Let's go to the room and make love" Xavier said later in an excited tone.
