Xavier's hand holding the stock report file he was studying instantly froze when he heard Doctor Nathan's sentence.
Sera's not pregnant?
"Is the test really accurate?" Xavier asked as he placed the files in his hand on the bedside nightstand, losing interest in working. He couldn't sleep, which is why he read the stock report file sent by his men as his sleepman. But now, hearing that Sera was not pregnant, not only eliminated her work interest, but also at the same time obliterated a speck of drowsiness that had melted her up to the toilet without rest.
"Almost accurate. HCG tests from both blood and urine samples, both of which do not meet the minimum amount of HCG content for pregnant women. We can retest in two or three days, or just wait and see if Sera gets her monthly menstrual period or not. Based on my estimation, he'll get it in two weeks."
Dr. Nathan has obtained data from Xavier on a full report on the digitally recorded Sera fertility calendar. The calendar contains exactly the Sera menstrual period, the time span between menstrual cycles to the estimated fertile period and also a note on what dates Sera intercourse with Xavier.
All the data is very important because it can be used to determine the fertile period of Sera accurately. Determination of the fertile period is very important, especially for couples who are planning a pregnancy. That is all because a woman's egg cell, reaches the right size of the mature omen and is ready to be fertilized for only twenty-four hours in one period. If the fertile period is missed, then they have missed the possibility of pregnancy in that month and have to wait until the fertile period comes in the next month.
Therefore, it is recommended to conduct an intercourse for three days before and three days after the predicted fertile period, to avoid missed fertility dates where the true fertile period is missed.
"Two weeks is too long." Xavier frowned. He will not stand in uncertainty and cannot decide for two whole weeks. "Do another test in two or three days, if the results are the same, then I make a plan."
"And what is your plan, Xavier? If I could know?" sambar Doctor Nathan with a tone full of irony.
Xavier raised his head, looking at Doctor Nathan with an equally intense irony.
"Menghamili Sera as powerful as possible. What else can I do?" the answer then, a little grinning.
Doctor Nathan let out a long breath.
"You know, I still don't agree with any transactional child plans to return the favor. It's beyond my reasoning, if I may argue." Dr. Nathan rubbed his hair in frustration. "If you really want to release and free Sera, then I think this is the most appropriate time. She's not pregnant, so you don't have to burden her with the obligation to conceive and give birth to your child, then take care of the child - which if your plan to die without a fight can be accomplished - will become a fatherless child."
Doctor Nathan stopped his sentence, looked at Xavier in frustration before asking a question that had stuck in his heart for a long time. "If you don't intend to use the stem cells from the baby's placenta to save your life, why do you have to bring about one more innocent life in this world?"
Xavier's expression seemed to harden when he heard a row of statements as well as questions from Doctor Nathan who became one. But when he finally answered, his voice sounded very calm.
"Didn't you listen carefully to my previous explanation? It wasn't me who wanted the child, but Sera who insisted on wanting the child." Xavier reveals his honesty clearly towards Doctor Nathan.
"But you could have rejected it. With all the abilities of your brain, your reasoning skills and also the ability of logic to think rationally, you must know that the problem of the streak will come when the two of you decide to have a child together." Doctor Nathan refuted in an irritated voice. "If you really want to let Sera go, then let her go completely. But, if you want to have Sera, then don't half-have it. Right now you're choosing to set both feet on the opposite side, about to let Sera go but still tie her to a child, a child you're about to leave dead and a fatherless child." Doctor Nathan's last sentence did sound cruel, but the man revealed his true reality straightforwardly.
"Xavier's." Doctor Nathan spoke slowly when Xavier still did not answer the long sentence he was saying. "You can still stop this. Sera is not pregnant, she can be free. Let him go."
For a long time Xavier would not open his mouth either to refute or to approve, the man seemed to ponder, letting the silence catch the air of the room that began to feel stifling, making Doctor Nathan to shift his legs agitatedly, impatiently waiting for Xavier's reaction to his proposal.
"Xavier's." Doctor Nathan finally chooses to make a sound first, the man is about to persuade Xavier back. But suddenly Xavier turned his head and looked directly at Doctor Nathan with a sharp gaze.
"Although I chose to give up on my illness and willingly welcome my death without a fight, but deep within my heart I wanted to have a child, she said, I want to leave a trace of my DNA to an individual who inherits my genes. I don't want when I leave this world all my images just vanish and there's nothing left of me to remember. That kind of wish you may never have felt, because you were lucky to be born into a family with you where you had parents, as well as siblings who share your genetics." Xavier made a confession with a tone of reverent voice.
"But for me who is alone in this world, the desire to have one figure who shares blood, shares genetics, has his own offspring, it is a very extraordinary dream if it can be realized." Xavier continued his words in a sad manner. "At the same time, Sera insisted on conceiving my son in return. Now, if you were me, how could you refuse that offer?"
Doctor Nathan was stunned, all the arguments that were collected at the base of his throat and ready to be uttered were already as soon as he heard Xavier's heart-wrenching honest confession.
"I think I'd better leave you first so you get some space to think." Dr. Nathan finally chose to close the conversation. The man pressed the base of his nose tiredly. "Rest, it's late. I'll do another test on Sera in three days."
After saying that, Dr. Nathan stepped out of the room.
"Nathan." Xavier's voice suddenly called out, making Doctor Nathan who was about to step out so stop his steps.
"What's wrong?" doctor Nathan asked when Xavier didn't speak.
"It's about Sera not getting pregnant, but I made sure her eggs were good and she even got a fertility injection. Is it possible, the problem is with me?"
Doctor Nathan turned his body back towards Xavier and raised his eyebrows.
"Whatchu mean? You've had a full examination and there are no problems with your fertility" he replied straightforwardly.
Xavier frowned. "I was just thinking, is it okay for my illness to make the quality of my seeds deteriorate, so that I didn't manage to impregnate Sera."
"You're fine, and so is Sera, it's just a coincidence that Sera hasn't gotten pregnant yet." Doctor Nathan stuck his hand in his pants pocket in an awkward manner. "Pregnancy occurs not only because the physical factors are perfect right, there are psychological factors that must be prepared as well, both synergize so as to increase the possibility of conception." Doctor Nathan's eyes watched Xavier sharply, then suddenly his mood changed, marked by his lips that commented a smile as he spoke. "Or it could be, excessive duration foils conception."
"Excessive duration?" Xavier asked immediately. He could already feel the direction of Doctor Nathan's conversation, but decided to ask to be sure.
"Well, you know, every newlywed sometimes forgets himself and fakes himself." Doctor Nathan grinned. "My advice, when the time comes to fertilize Sera, once a day is enough, for six consecutive days to fortify the fertile period so as not to be missed." After replying in a casual tone, Nathan nodded his head at Xavier, then walked away from the treatment room without bothering to listen to Xavier's reaction to his previous words.

"Not pregnant?"
Sera's hand holding the phone slightly tightened her grip there as she listened to Doctor Nathan's explanation over the phone line across the street.
This is the second test report where blood and urine samples are taken again after three days of the first examination which also states that the results are negative.
After the first test results stated that Sera was not pregnant, Dr. Nathan came to visit to take a sample of Sera's blood and urine for the second time, to hold another test that aims to ensure the accuracy of the first test result.
Indeed, when she first heard that she was not pregnant, Sera had lost hope. So, when getting information that the results of the second test also stated that she was not pregnant, Sera had guessed before.
But somehow, there was sadness that infiltrated into his soul, teased into the recesses of his heart, then exhaled the shades of pain that made his chest feel tight.
"Sera?" Doctor Nathan was heard calling across the street, his tone worried because Sera was so silent and noiseless. "You still there?"
"I'm still here, Doctor." Sera gasped and greeted in a formal tone.
"good. Since you haven't succeeded for the first time, then you should try again." Doctor Nathan spoke softly knowing that this was a sensitive discussion and could put Sera to shame. "I think, for your next fertile period, you should miss it considering Xavier's condition has not recovered properly. We'll focus on the next fertile period again."
"I understand, doctor." Sera answered slowly. Her hand moved cupping her cheek which was hot from embarrassment. Really, he was really uncomfortable discussing the fertile period and also conception with a male doctor who he still did not know very well.
"I want your body to be fully prepared for the planned conception schedule." Doctor Nathan reconnected his words, ignoring the awkward nuances that began to unfold. "You'll get vitamins and injections during this period, to make sure you're really fertile and your eggs are really healthy. I also advise you to relax, do not push yourself and make your body tired. You are free to spend time having fun and doing what you like and avoiding stress, because a good mood will increase the chances of successful conception."
"Okay, Doctor." Sera answered obediently because she wanted to quickly end the discussion about it. He then switched the conversation on purpose, asking a question that had plagued his heart long ago. "What about Xavier's condition?"
The silence stretched, creating a momentary pause from Doctor Nathan's side which showed that the man had not expected to be questioned directly by Sera.
Doctor Nathan cleared his throat for a moment, then looked out in a neutral tone.
"Xavier is fine. He is also recovering. In fact, I have offered Xavier to use other methods such as artificial insemination or baby tubes, taking into account the condition of his body that has not recovered properly. The procedure will technically also take care of both of you, as there will be no forced intimacy required to get a child." Doctor Nathan's voice was low. "But, Xavier rejected the proposal outright, saying all of the procedures would compromise your privacy. Xavier also held the view that if natural procedures can still be done, why use artificial procedures?"
Doctor Nathan cleared his throat again after throwing his rhetorical question. "But, if this second natural fertilization doesn't work, I think you should be ready if this insemination or baby tube procedure is done. Are you okay with this?"
"I'm fine, Doctor," he said in a trembling voice.
Shortly after, after Doctor Nathan ended the conversation, Sera staggered as her legs seemed to lose strength. His hands moved in search of a pedestal, then Sera managed to bring herself to sit on the sofa before she fell onto the carpet.
Sera leaned her body against the back of the sofa and closed her eyes.
Whatever she has to do to conceive Xavier's baby, she will. Whatever it is.

"You're awake."
A voice sounded greeting as soon as Aaron opened his eyes and opened them. Aaron's gaze was still blurry and it took him some time before he could focus his gaze towards the source of the voice that was unwilling to waste time and immediately greet him once Aaron regained consciousness.
When he cleared his sight, aaron's eyes widened as he realized who was standing next to the bed in a dashing manner while putting both of his hands into his pants pocket and watching Aaron with his sharp reddish eyeballs.
A pale figure, with that white hair and those red eyes....
"Yes, I'm Dimitri Kazak." Dimitri grinned as he watched the fear crawling over Aaron. "There's no need for an explanation because I've investigated everything and know your situation."
"You also know about S-Sabina?" aaron asked in a raucous voice, his throat feeling so dry and sore as he spoke.
"Of course I know. You've been lying unconscious for some time. It's all because you got an antidote that put you in a coma during the cleansing process of the poison that settles inside your internal organs." Dimitri spoke without expression. "The doctor said, when the poison is cleared from your body, you'll notice. The fact that you've regained consciousness now, shows that you've completely healed."
"I've got a poison cure?" Aaron boughtak can't believe it. He tried to examine the condition of his body, but did not find the difference, his body even felt pain and pain, as well as his dry throat coupled with his head that hurt, and his body was very painful, it was as if there was a hammer being smashed at the back of his head.
"You are, technically, arguably clean. The pain and discomfort you are feeling right now, most likely due to your body being acclimated to waking up after falling asleep for some time." Dimitri answered straightforwardly. "But let's put aside all that technical discussion. I guess, we should be shaking hands now, as a sign that we've been allied." Dimitri grinned even wider, his hand outstretched toward Aaron, offering a handshake that could not be rejected.

Sera was sitting on the living room couch reading a book she had taken from Xavier's library. The book attracted his heart, because it discusses the history of the culinary world and cooking methods in ancient times that are very fun to learn.
The days passed peacefully after the results of her pregnancy test which declared her negative had been delivered to her. Sera herself then lived her life like a robot, waking up, bathing, eating, reading to fill her free time and doing things that attracted her heart freely. Without feeling it, time passed so quickly that Sera even lost her interest in following the trail of days that continued to pass as if being chased by time.
Either he should be grateful for his current peaceful living conditions, or he should cry.
Xavier's lawyer has also come to visit him twice. First, he came to inform her that his father had been transferred to the best facility, making Sera cry when she saw the photos and recordings shown to her that showed her father's final condition in his new place more adequate. The lawyer said that Xavier himself is likely to take Sera to see his father if conditions are possible later, Sera only has to be patient and wait.
The second time he visited, the lawyer conveyed the news of relief that Aaron had been found and was undergoing treatment to offer poison in his body. Evidence of the recording was also shown to Sera with the explanation that Aaron would only wake up after some time.
There was no explanation from the lawyer whether Sera was allowed to see Aaron, and Sera did not want to ask him either. He chose to enjoy this relief, and waited for how Xavier would later steer his way.
This part also passed just like his previous days alone, there was nothing meaningful to do. After making tea and baking bread for his own breakfast that actually made the kitchen chef object but was unable to prevent it, Sera sat down to read and almost fell asleep after bulldozing half of the book without pause.
Suddenly, the footsteps that came galloping frantically past him made Sera's once sleepy eyes so open again. He straightened up and gazed confusedly at the bodyguards and servants who seemed to be rushing and preparing to gather towards the door of the house.
"What's wrong?" Sera asked curiously, attracting the attention of a servant who instantly stopped her steps when she heard her question.
The waiter looked at Sera in confusion. "A-you don't know? Today Mr. Xavier came home from the hospital. His car will be home soon."
