“How can you draw such a conclusion? What's your foundation so you accuse doctor Oberon?” Doctor Nathan of course cannot take Xavier's accusations for granted. He was a logical man. All conclusions should be based on evidence.
“I told you it was my instinct.” Xavier thins his lips in annoyance.
“Insting or your jealousy? I won't agree with you if you base your accusations on emotionalism.” Nathan responded with a disapproving tone.
“You can't accuse someone without proof, Xavier. Although the personality of doctor Oberon has not been good since the accident, but he is a good doctor. He was also a very competent and dedicated employee, never mixing his personal life with his professional life. That's why even though he can't practice as a surgeon anymore, he still gets a high position in this hospital.” Nathan exposes various reasons he can think of to doubt Xavier, hoping that Xavier can give a satisfactory answer to dispel his doubts.
“I have no proof yet, but this morning the Oberon doctor approached Sera who was about to look at princess Elana and invite her to speak.” Xavier's voice sharpens. “Yesterday he was at the health facility where Sera's father was treated, and today he came and greeted Sera. Do you think this isn't too suspicious?”
Nathan was pensive to hear Xavier's words. His forehead was wrinkled, looking thoughtful.
“What if doctor Oberon is indeed interested in Sera?” tanyanya.
Xavier. “Ah, come on Nathan. You must feel the same weirdness as me. Are you saying that doctor Oberon, who was a loner after the accident, suddenly felt attracted to Sera? Didn't you see that Sera was pregnant and pregnant with my son? Which crazy man is interested in a woman who is pregnant and pregnant with a child from her husband who is clearly still alive and is beside her?”
Xavier's words were true, and it made Nathan's doctor think alike. Some do not match the events described by Xavier.

“I want to get the employee's personal data in detail from doctor Oberon. You have access to that, don't you? Derek's done some preliminary research for you, but I think I should dig it deeper.”
“OK. Anything else?” Nathan answered quickly and waited for an answer.
“I want to get a chance to talk to doctor Oberon directly.” Xavier grinned, the vile lightning that lit up in his eye rays looked terrifying. “Give me a job related to Oberon's doctor's work, make it as natural as possible so that Oberon's doctor does not suspect. Although if he was really Aaron in disguise, then he would have known that I had suspected him.”

Xavier stepped into the room, seeing that Sera had fallen asleep. The woman was breathing regularly, in this quiet space, faintly heard a soft snoring from her.
Xavier stepped slowly, trying not to make a sound because he did not want to disturb Sera's sleep. He was very eager for his kiss with his wife, but even in such conditions, he did not mind being left to sleep.
He knows Sera is exhausted. The journey from home to the hospital is quite far, especially if coupled with the interference added by Oberon doctors to him.
Xavier sat slowly on the edge of the bed, his eyes staring at Sera who seemed to be peacefully asleep.
What did Oberon's doctor say to Sera that made her put on a doubtful and questioning expression? Is it true that the question Sera asked him was related to Doctor Oberon?
Xavier's head was filled with disturbing questions, but he knew that he couldn't get the answer now that Sera was still fast asleep and he didn't want to disturb her sleep.
In the end, Xavier chose to lay his body in the remaining narrow space on the edge of the bed that was still available beside Sera. His movements were slow and careful, trying not to disturb his woman.
Xavier's eyes were closed and he was trying to sleep, but unfortunately his mind was too busy thinking about everything so he could not sleep either.

Sera moved her hand to embrace herself, the air around her felt cooling down, making her a little restless in her deep sleep.
Then shortly thereafter, felt a thick blanket that was installed covering his body, making him feel warm and comfortable later.
Unfortunately, the cold air had already awakened Sera so that her consciousness had returned completely and she could no longer sleep.
He overslept. What time is this?
That question first came up when Sera blinked her eyes and wriggled to stretch her stiff body. Yes, in a large pregnant condition like this, tilting to the right so as not to overstress the heart and lying on your back is the only possible position.
Although for Sera herself, she prefers the position of tilted to the right because the position of lying on her back sometimes makes her short of breath.
Sera's outstretched hand to stretch out involuntarily touched the hard body lying next to her and she gasped, instantly opening her eyes in alarm.
The nuances of the room were dim and there was no sunlight that penetrated the window curtain that dominated almost one wall of the room on the top floor of this hospital, indicates that the day may be at the beginning of the early morning when the sun has not even wriggled up to rise to its throne.
Sera raised her head to look at the face of the familiar hard body owner and her eyes widened as she looked directly at Xavier watching him.
The man's eyes were sharp, as if they were able to pierce through the darkness of the room and directly pierced back into Sera's eyes. The man lay on his side in silence like a statue with his eyes glued to Sera without being sidetracked.
Amidst these dim shades, Xavier seemed so handsome and mysterious, like a judge in a transitional world who looked at the defendants with a cold and untouchable expression.
Sera gulps. Somehow he got a hunch that Xavier had most likely been watching him in this position for hours.
“You didn't sleep?” Sera cleared her throat to ease her hoarse vocal cords, then asked breaking the silence.
Xavier's expression did not change, but the corner of the man's lips twitched in a deep arch, as if implying a thin smile.
“I can't sleep,” replied Xavier calmly.
Sera frowned. Can't sleep? Is there anything that disturbs Xavier's mind and impairs his feelings so that he can't even melt himself into deep sleep?
Sera's eyes watched Xavier anxiously. He knew that Xavier must be tired, especially with his condition still suffering from a chronic disease that can only be temporarily suppressed with a hard dose of chemical drugs concoction itself. The man had woken up in the early hours of yesterday when he heard that Elana was rushed to the hospital and practically from then until now, Xavier had not yet had a chance to rest.
As he turned his brain around to guess what caused Xavier to be unable to sleep, he suddenly recalled the promise he had said last night before Xavier left to call Credence.
Sera flabbergasted. Gosh darn. He promises to wait for Xavier to return and help the man to complete his wish. However, instead of keeping the promise to wait for the man, Sera fell asleep so fast that she did not even know when Xavier returned to this room and took a lying position next to him.
Is... is Xavier unable to sleep because of that? The man once said that it would be painful when the desire that had already risen was not getting a solution. Is it because of the pain that Xavier can't sleep?
Sera suddenly felt guilty because she instead enjoyed a satisfying deep sleep, while her husband let her lie down to endure the pain of not being able to sleep.
“I'm sorry.” Sera lowered her head, whispering softly in shame mixed with a rush of guilt.
The corner of Xavier's lips was now completely curved without being held back, forming a smile that was very beautiful and so eye-catching.
“Why are you apologizing?” Xavier's question was posed with a thick seductive tone.
Sera cleared her throat again, trying to calm herself down even though the red hue began to spread back all over her skin surface.
“I... I did not keep the promise to wait for you,” slowly Sera whispered replied later.
Xavier chuckles. The man then moved his hand and made it Sera's head pad, gently pulling Sera closer to hold her tightly.
“You're exhausted, of course I understand. I am the guilty one anyway. I spent longer to return to the room because after finishing my conversation with Credence, I had to finish some other affairs.” whispered Xavier gently and gave a kiss on Sera's forehead. “Calm down, it's not that problem that keeps me from sleeping.”
“Then why?” Sera looked up curiously, her eyes staring anxiously at Xavier. “Is.... do you get sick?”
Xavier immediately shook his head.
“Does anyone bother your mind?” Sera guessed exactly and Xavier nodded his head.
“Yes. I'm curious,” says calm down.
“Marketing about what?” Sera quickly replied and asked. Xavier's word that was one after another made him impatiently want to get an answer.
Xavier laughed, the man then knocked on the tip of Sera's nose gently as if to punish her.
“You're the one who got me curious and you're still asking?” sahut later. “I was curious about what question you would ask me last night before Credence interrupted our conversation with his phone call.”
Sera blinked her eyes at Xavier's question. Her foggy mind that had just woken up from her sleep took longer to fully digest the sentence spoken by her husband.
When before long she managed to digest everything, Sera felt a strong urge to pat her forehead while reproaching herself for it.
Oh gosh. Sera could have forgotten about that one weird problem!
“Do you want to hear my question now?” Sera steeled her heart, gathered her courage and looked at Xavier a little scared. “You promise you won't get mad?”
“I'd rather you finish my curiosity soon, so yes, I promise I won't be mad.” Xavier touched Sera's chin gently and raised the woman's face towards him. “What do you want to ask?”
Sera took a long breath.
“About my father.” Sera thought that she should not personally involve Oberon in this matter. The doctor had asked Sera to say nothing to Xavier, and now Sera was forced to violate Doctor Oberon's request.
Well, if she had to choose, of course Sera would choose to be honest with her husband and complete all the odds in her heart regarding the secretive attitude Xavier had towards her.
Even so, it still implied guilt in Sera's heart because whatever he did, could have put doctor Oberon in danger. Plus, Xavier yesterday blatantly said that he did not like the Oberon doctor who increasingly put the doctor in a difficult situation.
So, in order to atone for his guilt, Sera decides to protect the man from Xavier's attack by minimizing the mention of the doctor in person in front of Xavier.
“The doctor we met at my father's health facility earlier.he accidentally passed me in the elevator and he said.” Sera gulped, a little confusion composing the words. “He said sorry about my father's condition.” Sera's eyes stared directly at Xavier, wanting to read the man's expression. “She also told me to stay strong and strong because.. because my father was diagnosed with stage four cancer with a small chance of cure.”.
Sera glanced back at Xavier before continuing her sentence, when she saw that Xavier's face remained emotionless, Sera said later.
“The doctor said that I could be a little calm because of you. You are working on a cure for my father with a medicine that you formulated yourself.”.
There were some things Sera modified herself in her speech, all of which she did in order to protect Oberon's doctor.
When Xavier just kept silent as if waiting for Sera to say again, Sera finally decided to continue asking.
“Do not blame the doctor, he said it all because he clearly thought that I already knew everything.” Sera's voice weakened later. “But. You never said it all to me.” Sera's voice trembled when she thought about her father. “Regarding my father's cancer, regarding the trial of the chemical drugs you gave my father..
“Sera.” Seeing his wife so weak and confused as if not knowing what to do, Xavier's heart immediately softened. Her expressionless face was instantly broken by affection and her hands moved in embrace, bringing Sera's body closer to her embrace on the bed. “I'm sorry. Not that I meant to be secretive to you.”
“Why didn't you tell me? Regarding my father's condition.” Sera's tears immediately flowed as she imagined the condition of her father who lay helpless on the hospital bed. “My father... can die at any time, right? Why didn't you? Until when do you intend to keep it a secret to me?”
Sera's voice came to a halt as she sobbed and cried. Sera's cry pierced Xavier's heart, making him sigh before then burying his face in the softness of Sera's hair and whispering softly in a raucous voice.
“You know that everything I do, I do it for your own good, right?” Xavier grabs Sera's hand and kisses her. He forced the woman to look up at him, staring at him tearfully.
Xavier knew that Sera had to see her expression, so that she would understand that what she said was sincere. He wasn't manipulating Sera, he meant everything she said.
“I was wrong because I kept your father's illness a secret. But when I found out, I did not have the heart to tell you. You're so sad, I don't want to make you worse.” Xavier smiled, his eyes looking deeply at Sera and his lips moved to kiss side by side Sera's eyelids before he kissed her wet tears.
“I even thought of taking desperate measures by trying hard to concoct my own homemade medicine. I want to heal your father. I want to eliminate the cancer he suffered until you do not need to feel hopeless again.” Xavier let out a long sigh, putting on a defeated expression that he had never shown to anyone else. “However, I'm too arrogant. All this time I felt that I was a genius who could do anything. I didn't realize that I couldn't step over the power of fate that was much greater than my strength as an ordinary human. I failed to heal your father. I tried many times and I failed. Your father's condition remains stagnant, unable to improve even after I give you my medicine.”
Xavier lowered his head, bringing his face closer to Sera's face until their noses almost stuck.
“You know why even after I failed, I still couldn't tell you? It's all because I was pushed back. I lost and I'm ashamed to tell you.” Xavier took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as if to throw away the burden of his heart. “But now you know without me telling you. So, I have no other choice.”
Xavier's voice rattled as his sharp eyes stared intently at Sera.
“Serafina Moon's. Forgive me for everything I've done to you. Forgive me for my past vile decisions that ruined your life. Forgive me for tying you up and making you carry my children by force even though you didn't agree at first. I'm sorry for putting your father in this condition. Forgive me for not being able to heal your father.”.
This is the moment of redemption, this is the moment of begging for forgiveness. This was the time for Xavier to admit his guilt and throw away his guilt.
Sera is Xavier's redeemer. And Xavier, without a fight, had hung all his heart on the woman's forgiveness.
