“Would you like to meet Aaron directly?”
The crane that opened the car door for Xavier asked slowly. His tone sounded ordinary, but Xavier caught the anxiety within his voice. Xavier thinned his lips with a faint smile on his lips before answering later.
“Of course, what do you think I'm bothering to come here for?”
Xavier looked up, staring at the old building that became the apartment house where Thomas, Aaron's victim who was either now in good condition or maybe even dying waiting to be rescued.
The scouts who had been watching the building since last night said that Aaron did not come out of Thomas's apartment room at all. They used heat scanners and human detectors to penetrate the walls of the apartment room and found two humans living inside the apartment room.
One moves normally and the other does not move at all.
Most likely, Thomas was smothered and tied up, but seeing that Thomas' body had not shifted and moved at all, Xavier suspected that the man had been sedated.
When they finally managed to master the empty room that was right above Thomas's room, they managed to infiltrate a mini surveillance camera that took pictures of the roof of the room and monitored Aaron's entire movement without Aaron knowing it. That leaves Aaron locked in a losing position and soon it's time for the man to reap the rewards of his own deeds.
Xavier's steps were certainly visible as he walked through the apartment's lobby area. As he had expected, this apartment did not have a guard or reception officer, of course it was a good thing for Xavier, he said, because he could go straight to Thomas' doorstep where Aaron was without making any unnecessary fuss.
After all, this entire building had been surrounded by people sent by Akram to accompany Xavier. Snipers were also stationed at several points, ready to fire if Aaron stepped foot out of the building. They were on standby with the meeting formation this time because they did not want to be cheated like when Aaron escaped from the hospital at that time.
Indeed, Xavier felt no need to use this much force just to capture Aaron alone, but Akram insisted on sending his troops to support Xavier. Akram assumes that Aaron is reckless and a human who is already at the limit of despair will usually do crazy things to save himself. Akram certainly doesn't want what happened to Nathan to happen to Xavier again.
Xavier steps into the elevator to the floor where Thomas's room is located. Derek and the other two bodyguards followed him faithfully behind him.
Thinking that he will soon meet Aaron, an enemy who is interfering with his family's life, a rush of adrenaline instantly floods him, making a murderous whim nearly overwhelm him.
However, Xavier knew that he had to hold back this time. If it was his will, Xavier would have killed Aaron as soon as they looked. Unfortunately, he couldn't do it. Because he had promised to fulfill Sera's request.
Xavier's memories instantly drift to the previous time, when he bluntly tells Sera that he will come to capture Aaron directly.

There was a wrinkle created at the base of Sera's nose when Xavier said that after this he would come to Aaron.
“You're going to Aaron alone?” Sera asked slowly, unable to hide the anxiety in her tone.
Xavier, who was sitting on the edge of the bed where Sera lay back in her nursery after nursing the twins, moved her hand to rub Sera's cheeks affectionately.
“Do not worry. Akram has prepared his army to accompany me. I'm not gonna end up like Nathan. I'll be fine.”
Sera cupped Xavier's hand with her tiny hand.
“Of course I'm worried. Aaron is the kind of person who can do anything to achieve his goals. You... When dealing with him he even once managed to stab you, what if he gets a chance and does it again?” ask her with trembling lips.
“You don't need to worry.” Xavier returns to calm his wife. “Derek and the others will come in ambush with me. This time, Aaron won't escape, Sera.”
Silence stretched long between them as Sera was silent and did not say a word. The woman looked frowned as if she was thinking of something. Meanwhile, Xavier himself chose not to break the silence. He waited until Sera revealed what was in his mind.
“Xavier, will you kill Aaron?” He broke the silence, his lips trembling when he asked.
Xavier looked at Sera sharply hearing the question.
“I'm dying to kill him. As soon as he disappears, all distractions for our happiness will also disappear. Don't you think so too?” he then asked back.
Sera widened her eyes, then shook her head slowly.
“I think that the happiness of our family need not be achieved at the expense of one more life.”
“Sera.” Xavier's expression sharpened, even with his gaze. “Aaron has done so much evil to you in the past, he pretends to you, he uses you to achieve his own goals. He doesn't appreciate your love, but when you don't adore him anymore, he becomes obsessed with you and wants to force you to love him. Now he's even planning on using your father as a hostage. And you still want to defend him?”
Xavier touched Sera's chin and pointed the woman's face at him. An irrepressible ray of jealousy seemed to light up in his eyes, making a long look of him, the sinister and always full of murderous lust, appear to the surface.
“Do you still have feelings for him? Haven't you really managed to exterminate your love for him yet? Is that why you defended him and tried to keep his life alive?” ask her then with a furious tone.
“Xavier.” Sera touched Xavier's wrist, her gaze shaded while her expression filled with a thoughtful thin smile, trying to calm her husband who was starting to be burned by the flames of jealousy. “I don't want Aaron killed, it's not for Aaron, but for you and our family.”
“What do you mean?” Xavier is usually very intelligent, but when dealing with Sera who sometimes has complicated and unpredictable thoughts, somehow he always fails to translate the meaning of Sera's words well.
“I mean, I don't want grudges to keep spinning because of bloodshed. Remember, we are already parents, we have twins, two beautiful daughters whose future depends on us, both parents.” Sera looked at Xavier intently. “You are a father of two beautiful little daughters. I don't want you to wet your hands again with blood. With Aaron. If you kill him, are you sure that all this revenge turnaround will be over? Who knew there were other people out there who loved Aaron and decided to take revenge on his behalf in the future? What if they're after our daughters? If this revenge cycle cannot be ended now, I fear we will be in a vicious cycle, continuing to revolve around completing revenge for relentless revenge.”
Xavier was silent for a long time, examining what Sera had told him. When he spoke later, his forehead seemed to wrinkle deeply.
“If we let Aaron stay alive, he could just attack us back at any moment. His obsession with you is no joke, Sera.”
“I will end his obsession with me.” Sera replied with a firm tone.
The frown on Xavier's forehead seemed to get deeper and deeper.
“How to?” ask her then in a curious tone.
Sera looked at Xavier solemnly.
“Aaron did all the reckless ways he did yesterday, just because he wanted to see me, right? Then why don't you just let him meet me?”
“No!” Xavier immediately exclaimed in a loud voice. Disagreements seemed clearly imprinted in his eyes. “Did you forget that Aaron is a dangerous man? I'll never let you meet him!”
Sera took a long breath. Her hand moved to squeeze Xavier's hand, once again trying to calm her husband.
“Xavier. We have to finish everything. Let Aaron see me, after which I promise that he will stop his entire obsession with me.”
“Then you will release him?” Xavier interjected in a disapproving tone. “I can't fulfill your request, Sera. I'll never let Aaron go free and loose again. If killing him is the only way.”
“Xavier.” This time it was Ser who interrupted Xavier's words. His voice sounded soft, but his eyes sparkled meaningfully. “Who said you had to free Aaron?” sera asked then, creating a mysterious tone within her voice.

“Mr Xavier.”
Derek's voice behind his back made Xavier blink his eyes and realize from his daydream that distorted the memory of his conversation with Sera before he left for this place to snatch Aaron.
Xavier stared at the closed door in front of him. His expression changed life, marked by a cruel grin that adorned his smile.
“Let's pick up our special guest,” Xavier uttered in a creepy cold tone, then his hand moved knocking on that door and knocked on that door and waited.
When there was no reply for quite a long time, Xavier knocked again with a stronger, more urgent knock. He knew that Aaron who was in there must have been frightened by the arrival of an uninvited guest at his doorstep. You can imagine how Aaron was filled with terror behind that door because of his arrival.
“What is he doing now?” Xavier asked Derek when there was also no movement from inside the room.
“Aaron moves to cover Thomas' body with a blanket. Most likely he was thinking of hiding Thomas' whereabouts from the sight of the guest who came.” Derek who was staring at the screen as big as a cellphone in his hand said in reply. On the screen of the phone, clearly visible Aaron's movement which is an image of the surveillance camera in there.
The grin on Xavier's lips grew wider as if laughing.
“So, he doesn't know yet that I'm the one at the door?” Xavier moved his hand and knocked even harder and more urgently. “Let's make him come to the door and peek so that he knows that I myself came to him.”

Xavier was grinning. The man looked back at Aaron who was peeking out of the peephole at the door, then extended his big smile and nodded his thin head towards the peeping hole. The look in his eyes seemed sharp, piercing Aaron to the point of slipping a pungent fear into his soul.
Instantly Aaron moved his eyes away from the peeping hole and stepped back with trembling legs.
Xavier returned his gaze as if he knew that Aaron was peeking through the peeping glass hole! Does Xavier really know? Is this room being monitored?
Aaron's head glanced around filled with terror, but could not find any traces of surveillance cameras anywhere.
Aaron has been very careful to avoid the high-tech pursuit of Akram Night and Xavier Light. When he turns on Thomas' laptop, Aaron closes Thomas's laptop camera with a thick, impenetrable adhesive. He also checked if any other electronic devices were connected online and immediately disconnected all online connections, making sure everything was off and offline.
The fact that Xavier knew of his whereabouts here, even calmly coming to him like this, suggests that Aaron's entire plan had been uncovered from the start!
Wh who? Who leaked it? Isn't Aaron being very careful? His hiding place was untraceable, he also used a high-quality disguise mask that could not be distinguished by the eyes of a layman.
Incognito mask....
Goddamnit! Xavier and his colleagues must have succeeded in capturing Dr Rasputin! Yep! Surely so! The only thing that makes his whole plan to take Sera's father hostage by disguising himself as Thomas unravel is the connection with Rasputin's doctor as a mask maker with Thomas' identity and also other masks!
That fucking doctor! He said he would hide well and not get caught. Aaron believed that Rasputin's ability was missing from tracking, which is why he abandoned his intention to kill and stab Rasputin's doctor in the back when the masks of his order were ready.
But why was the old and stupid doctor even caught? If he knew it would be this way, he should have killed doctor Rasputin by then!
Goddamnit! Goddamnit! Really Fuck!
Aaron walked pacing around the room, his mouth cursing silently, showing his unspeakable despair.
His eyes searched but he found no way out. If he jumped out of the window, the result would be the same, not only would his leg probably be broken, but also Xavier's men would have waited a lot down there to subdue him.
There is no way out for Aaron other than to face Xavier and possibly face his own death.
Honestly, Aaron's body trembled, but he braced himself and tried to convince himself that even in the crucial moment, there was always a way out for him.
Hadn't he managed to escape Xavier's attacks many times? He was probably the only one who managed to stab Xavier at close range. Perhaps if he gets a chance to get close to Xavier again, he will rediscover the path to injure the man and escape.
Aaron took a deep breath, then grabbed a small revolver that had been prepared to hold Sera's father hostage and put the gun in his pocket.
Maybe he could use that gun before Xavier's men ransacked him...
Aaron's heart was pounding when he finally opened the door and released the boundary barrier between himself and Xavier Light, his great enemy.

Xavier himself put a smile on his lips when directly faced with Aaron.
“Good day, Aaron. I hope I didn't interrupt your comfortable nap,” said in a friendly voice.
“Have you come to kill me?” Aaron growled with a thick hostile attitude, very opposite to Xavier's friendly attitude. His hand hidden behind his pocket held a small revolver in his hand, thinking that this might be his only chance to attack Xavier.
Aaron moved as fast as lightning, pulled the revolver out of his pocket and was about to fire it into Xavier's face in despair, but of course Xavier's well-trained men were able to move swiftly from Aaron's movements spiced up by fear.
In an instant, Derek and the other two bodyguards lunged towards Aaron, causing Aaron's body to slam flat on the ground and the revolver to fall out of his hand.
One of Xavier's bodyguards took the revolver and secured it until Aaron's body was finally captured and then violently toppled to his stomach under the control of three strong men on it.
Derek pulled Aaron's hands behind his back and put up handcuffs with special digital controls there. His sturdy body half overstretched Aaron, making the body of the prone Aaron increasingly helpless, unable to move on the floor.
Xavier stepped inside the room and his eyes immediately turned toward Thomas' body covered in blankets. Immediately he gave a gesture towards one of his bodyguards.
“Order team doctor here.” Xavier knows that he must at least prevent Thomas from losing his life. As Sera wanted, the woman did not want any more lives to be uprooted because of Aaron's actions. They still have a chance to save the life of Thomas who is currently drugged with high doses.
Derek immediately hands Aaron under the supervision of two of his men. They keep Aaron's body on the ground, pressing him to the point of being unable to fight. Meanwhile, Derek himself immediately called his other men to bring the team of doctors up here and see Thomas' unconscious condition.
Xavier's eyes scanned around the room. They have made sure this room is safe without explosives or gas poison installed to trap incoming guests. Aaron was really careless. The man thought that the plan would work smoothly and did not expect that there would be ‘tamu’ who visited this place. Therefore, Aaron did not prepare anything for his protection.
At that moment, Xavier turned his head back toward Aaron and a sweet smile returned to his lips.
“I was coming with the intention of talking nicely, but you seem too eager to attack me, don't you?”
Xavier stepped closer towards Aaron who was on his stomach and gestured towards his men. One of his bodyguards then pulled Aaron's hair and pulled Aaron's hair, forcing the man to look up at Xavier.
Aaron's eyes seemed to be filled with vengeance, anger and a powerful mixture of humiliation. Being laid down like this, close to Xavier's feet, was the greatest humiliation he had ever received.
“You coward! You brought your men against me! If without your men, you'd be able to do nothing! You are just a sick weak man!” Aaron attempts to provoke Xavier in the hope that the man will order his men to release him. “If you really are a real man! Let's fight one on one! We'll see who wins!”
A smile still lingered on Xavier's lips as he received the provocation from Aaron.
“I am indeed shameless.” Xavier even nodded his head in a calm manner, a reaction that was the opposite of Aaron's. “Do I use my own power if I have enough money to pay my men to do their job?”
Xavier placed his shoes near Aaron's face with a stern scorn. “You think I was the kid yesterday afternoon who was still busy fighting for self-esteem by fighting muscle and fighting physical battles? I am a grown man, I am the husband and father of two happy children. After all, I don't want my face that has this original charm to be stained with a punch or a bruise. That would make my wife sad. You know, Sera really likes my handsome face. After all, she is a clever woman who can tell which is real handsome and which is handsome from plastic.”
Xavier chuckled while scanning Aaron's face in a disdainful manner. “For that reason, I was forced to refuse your challenge to fight like a little boy.”
Xavier calmly pulled the syringe out of his pocket, then deliberately prepared the equipment right in front of Aaron.
The sight made Aaron who was still flabbergasted to hear Xavier's answer was immediately aghast and panicked. He tried to thrash around, chastened with fear knowing that the injection must have been prepared for him.
However, whatever the power was, his hands were in handcuffs behind his back and two Xavier bodyguards pressed down on his body without mercy.
