Xavier's ability to control awkward situations that stretch and strangle everyone in this room deserves a thumbs up.
The man in an instant was able to change his facial expression and put on a sinless smile that looked so genuine as well as annoying, because everyone knew that it was just a fake mask, but they remained persuaded.
Xavier stood up, deliberately letting Akram's earlier statement hang in the air without a response. After all, even if he did not answer, Akram was trained to draw his own conclusions appropriately. Xavier then stepped up and stopped in front of Elana who was holding Zac and presented her smile to the healthy boy who was very active.
Zac himself instantly recognized Xavier. Zac's eyes shone brightly cheerfully as he looked at his uncle, while his body immediately moved forward and his hands grabbed, asking to be carried.
Xavier chuckled, then glanced at Elana.
"Can?" tanyanya politely.
Elana nodded her head as permission and Xavier immediately reached out, grabbing Zac who was leaning his body towards her. The man lifted Zac from Elana's arms and turned the boy into his firm embrace.
"Hey boy, you're so heavy now," Xavier chuckled softly, making Zac smile broadly while letting out the adorable baby-typical babble.
Xavier's eyes were still filled with cheerful smiles as the man suddenly turned his gaze towards Sera who was watching in a daze at him. Sera herself gasped as their eyes chime without warning, making her reflex to avert her gaze with mixed feelings.
A knotty smile loomed on Xavier's lips as he still carried Zac, the man took Sera's over-confused hand to resist, then guided her to turn over, passing through the doorway to step into the dining room.
"I think a delicious meal is waiting in the dining room, let's have dinner," Xavier asked as he turned his head slightly towards his guests, gesturing for them to follow him.

Dinner was a success in terms of the menu. No matter who the chef is on duty tonight, he has managed to satisfy his taste buds with the delicacy of his cooking, and even satisfy his sense of sight with the beautiful display of his food tempting the eyes.
Unfortunately, the delicious taste of the food was not supported by the pleasant atmosphere throughout the dinner. The nuances of the dinner were filled with a suffocating awkwardness that seemed to silence everyone's mouth until almost no one spoke there.
Putting aside the delicacy of the dish he had tasted, Sera even immediately felt grateful when the dinner was finally over. He still had time to throw a polite smile to all the guests who say goodbye leaving the dining room, then immediately put his smile down to nothing when he was alone with Xavier.
Xavier knew the meaning of Sera's body which immediately stiffened when they were alone, but the man was relaxed to face her
"How much did you hear?" after making sure everyone had left and moved away from the room, Xavier asked.
Sera's gaze which was originally directed at the door of the room immediately turned towards Xavier with a half-insulting hateful look.
"Almost everything Akram Night says I hear." Sera answered honestly in a disgusted tone. "I am foolish because I almost softened my heart when I heard your complaints about us who are a kara in this world. I even assume you have a hidden good soul when you say your dream is to have a family, to embrace your own children so that we are not alone in this world anymore." Sera's voice trembled as she involuntarily moved her hands hugging herself as she continued her sentence.
"I don't think it's all just a beautiful lie you created to deceive my eyes and weaken my heart...." Sera's chest up and down was struck by emotions to make her voice falter. Full of torment, Sera sighed deeply trying to calm herself down before she was able to make another sound. "All you want is stem cells that you can take from your child's placenta, all you need to save your life" Sera accused in a stifled voice.
Xavier himself seemed so calm about accepting Sera's accusation. The man shook his head, looking at Sera intently as if assessing her reaction values.
"I won't argue with anything. I won't be defending myself either." Xavier said slowly. "You don't have a choice, Sera. I want you to conceive and give birth to my twins, instead, I'll give you your own family and let the people you love and defend live." Xavier cast a scornful look, as if mocking Sera's exaggerated demeanor. "I'm even willing to give you a legal marriage, when I could just force you to get pregnant without marrying you, then take what I need from that baby for granted without pinning my name behind his name, without being responsible for you two."
Sera bit her lips angrily at Xavier's words, this time clenched her hands while her teeth were grinding as she refrained from slapping the bastard.
"You're so shameless and heartless, Xavier Light. You planned for an innocent child to be born into this world, just for your own selfishness and self-interest!" exclaimed Sera furiously. "When you plan all that, you even keep putting poison in my body! How can you manage the presence of a child from the body of a poisoned mother? Don't you think about the child that's going to be born?"
"My poison won't affect your fetus." Xavier replied with a firmly restrained tone. "You don't have to worry about the boy's future either. I will take good care of that child as my descendant. He would be so grateful to be born as Xavier Light's son." Xavier said calmly, looking at Sera cynically. "After all, it's just a baby's umbilical cord. When the doctor picks it up later for me, it doesn't even hurt the baby and you, don't overdo it." Xavier looked at Sera with a menacing look. "Your job is to conceive and give birth to that child well. I'll take care of the rest. Do you understand?"
Sera raised her head and looked at Xavier angrily.
"I understand my duty well, Mr. Light. But you have to remember, if you hurt my father and Aaron at the end of my hair, I won't stay still!" with a burning rage, Sera turned her body and was about to leave the room, unable to bear to be in one room with this evil man.
"Where are you going?" suddenly Xavier grabbed Sera's hand, holding her back.
Unwilling to be touched, Sera immediately threw out the man's hand and jumped back, far from Xavier's reach.
"I'm going to sleep!" said Sera ketus, looking at the man vigilantly.
Xavier grinned, as if Sera's anger had no effect on him at all.
"You don't want me to sleep? Tonight will be very cold because a snowstorm is going on out there. If you ask, I would gladly consider sharing your warmth." she said slowly, filled with a tone of seduction.
Sera widened her eyes. "You need to remember, Mr. Light. You're not my husband yet. I'd appreciate it if you kept your perverted behavior away from me!" stomping his feet, Sera shouted in a high tone towards the man. Then, without waiting for Xavier's response again, Sera immediately turned around and stepped hastily leaving the dining room, leaving Xavier alone there.

"Is Xavier really in serious pain?"
Elana's voice sounded slowly inside the dim room. She was lying down with her husband's arms tightly wrapped around her. The night was late and Zac was asleep in his crib, but Elana could not sleep. She had gained a clear knowledge of what her husband was talking about with Xavier earlier, and the thought bothered her, keeping her awake.
Akram who was almost asleep regained his senses, the man looked down, and looked at his wife.
"I should be angry that you're talking about another man on our bed" he said in a raucous voice grumbling.
Elana tilted her body, looked at her husband and let him hold her tighter
"But this is about Xavier. You know.he's been misunderstood a lot all along. Now, he's even keeping his illness a secret and I'm afraid that if he doesn't give a proper explanation, he'll make Sera more misunderstood and hate him. You know for yourself Xavier's character, he won't even explain anything to you and let you hate him for years." Elana frowned anxiously towards Akram. "If Xavier doesn't get the transplants from stem cells he gets from his children later, Xavier will actually die?"
Akram thinned his lips, his expression turning serious. "Most likely that's what will happen. If her spinal cord is unable to produce blood cells and she relies only on transfusions and her own homemade medicine, she will die quickly. Xavier said that the drug, although it was able to keep him fit and widen the frequency of his blood transfusions, had the dangerous effect of reducing his life expectancy."
Elana took a long breath. "You also said that Xavier didn't care about it at first and intended to die peacefully. But, he then changed his mind and decided to survive after meeting Sera?"
"What do you really want to say, Elana?" Akram narrowed his eyes, looking at his wife intently.
Elana bit her lips, not realizing that Akram's eyes were fixated there and could not escape.
"Do you think... Xavier has feelings for Sera? That's why he suddenly wanted to survive?" tanyanya hesitated then.
Akram's lips thinned. "Who knows what Xavier has in mind? His heart is too dark and his mind too complicated to dive into so we better not guess what he is planning. But, objectively, I support Xavier's move with this marriage. If he treated Serafina Moon well, gave her the appropriate agreement and compensation as well as mutual benefits, then no one would be harmed in this matter. After all, the procedure of taking stem cells from the baby's placenta or umbilical cord after he was born, will not hurt their baby candidate later -" Akram's voice stopped when he heard Elana sigh on display. The man watched his wife's face, then raised an eyebrow.
"Why? What's troubling you?" ask Akram with a response.
Elana nodded slowly. "I'm just thinking about their wedding tomorrow, I can't imagine Xavier and Sera stepping into a marriage, then having children and building a family, he said, but there is no love in them."
"You always look at things from the romantic side" Akram touched his lips to his wife's forehead and kissed her gently. "Do you think someone like Xavier can feel romance?" ask her with a little skepticism.
Elana raised her hand, touching her fingers to Akram's cheek.
When he laughed, the man rolled his body over his wife, keeping both his elbows on Elana's left and right sides.
"So you think my heart is darker than Xavier's?" Akram asked back while raising an eyebrow, his face approaching towards his wife, about to kiss her.
Elana smiled gently. "You both have a strong bitterness because of the past. But, if you can open your heart and let yourself be happy, I really hope Xavier feels the same way. I really wish Xavier and Sera had a happy ending." Elana raised her hand and cupped both sides of Akram's cheek. "You guys are the main characters in this life story, you deserve to be happy" he said prayerfully.
Akram could not help himself anymore, the man immediately kissed Elana's lips, originally soft and loving, then immediately his desire ignited and the kiss turned deeper, exploring and demanding, and soon, tasting and enjoying, giving and receiving, until their bodies docked together, lulled by the desire to approach without a single inch of separation.
"I am happy because of you and Zac, and maybe later because of our other children, who will be born from your womb," Akram bit Elana's lips in a fit of rage before sliding her lips into Elana's ears and whispering mischievously. "Do you think it's time for Zac to have a sister?"
Elana laughed, her hand reflexively movingly hitting Akram's arm gently.
"Acram! Zac has to get exclusive breast milk for two years, which means I can't get pregnant" she said slowly.
Akram swiped his nose into the surface softness of Elana's skin, inhaling its intoxicating aroma and writhing his desires.
"I understand. But that doesn't mean we can't make love, does it?" teasingly Akram took a gentle bite on the shoulder side of Elana whose dress string she had lowered with anticipation.
"Don't be there." Elana sighed slowly, half protesting. "Tomorrow we must attend Xavier's and Sera's wedding ceremony...."
"I will be careful not to leave marks in visible places. But in other places, I don't want to promise...." Akram's voice came to a halt as his lips were busy exploring, cradling his wife in the blaze of expert touch that was always ready to warm their marriage.

The dress that Xavier had prepared for her this time was a little different than usual. The dress was long, decently intersected and almost creamy in white, with beautiful floral embroidery that was so detailed and admirable that Sera was convinced that it was a special order made by hand.
Sera put on the dress with the help of the servants who came to her room early in the morning to ready her. Sera even complied, just keeping quiet without protesting at all.
A deal has been made and he is determined to fulfill it in order to save his loved ones.
But still his heart was painful. Now, just ahead of some time before her wedding, stand here, wearing a beautiful wedding dress that may be the dream of other women, she said, not a single speck of happy twinkle managed to slip into his heart that had been extinguished.
It was never imagined by him that this kind of marriage would be his. A loveless marriage with a cruel man who has no love. A man who just wants to use his womb to produce a child that he doesn't even see as human. A child who would only be considered a side prodak of Xavier's main goal: stem cells from their umbilical cord placenta.
The world may condemn her for having made the decision to conceive and bear an innocent child in this world, a child that only the umbilical cord desires.
But Sera had no other choice. Only this sinful step could he take to save his father and also return the favor to Aaron.
Will the sacrifice be worth it? Will he be able to endure it later on? What will his story be like?
Sera's body trembled thinking about her future. But one thing is certain, Sera can no longer back down. She had already made the decision to have this marriage with Xavier, and she had to.
"Are you ready?"
Xavier's sudden voice rang out from behind him making Sera gasp. Immediately he turned his body, and his eyes instantly absorbed Xavier's figure in his view.
That guy looks amazingly handsome. Her hair was neatly combed back, while her appearance was clad in a dark brown almost black suit that wrapped her sturdy body perfectly. Xavier's good looks could be said to be almost blinding eyes so abundant, making Sera had to turn her eyes so that her heart did not beat fast because it fell in a spell of charm.
Xavier smiled to see Sera looking away and not wanting to see her face. The man then stepped in across the room, approached where Sera was and stopped when he stood very close in front of her.
Before Sera could say anything, Xavier suddenly grabbed her hand, then clutched something there. Sera lowered her head, and her eyes widened as she stared at the exquisite bouquet of flowers in her hands.
"This flower is named Lily of the Valley. It is very difficult to get it in the winter. But I managed to find a place that managed to cultivate it in a greenhouse with advanced technology, which can make this flower capable of flowering all year round, no matter what the season." Xavier said slowly, his fingers grabbed Sera's chin and looked up at her.
"In addition to symbolizing purity, lily of the valley also symbolizes simplicity, charm beauty, charm humility, purity. Some people even believe that this flower can bring good luck in marriage." Xavier chuckles. "I hope you're happy to receive this flower as your wedding bouquet." Xavier took Sera's hand that was not holding a flower, and then sighed the woman's body to follow her steps.
