It was early morning and the working room of the apartment was still shrouded in darkness.
Early in the day has indeed finished its time, preparing to leave and forcing the sun to immediately replace its throne. Unfortunately, the sun does not think the same way and choose to laze, do not want to wake up immediately. It made a bright yellow tinge that should have appeared on the eastern horizon delayed and blocked by the black clouds that brought the drizzling troops to accompany it.
Inside that dark apartment room, Aaron sat berserk in the middle of the room, on a thick carpet that stretched over the floor. The pile of files was all around him, divided into three parts. The one to his left was a pile of junk files he had checked but could not give him anything, before which was a pile of files he had not checked, and the one to his right is a pile of files that are still dubious to him and will be checked again.
This is what if he had to solve everything by manual means, this activity spent a lot of time and drained his energy so that he did not even have time to eat and sleep for hours since he came home from the health facility.
But, there is no other way, the manual way to check the physical files one by one carefully is the safest way he can go.
Even more troubling is the fact that this entire file is full of medical terms and types of drugs with specific language.
He couldn't even spell it out properly, how could he possibly understand the meaning?
Aaron smiled wryly as his eyes traced the cost figures made up of the use of various drugs that felt very foreign to him. He may have managed to steal the face and identity of the Oberon doctor, unfortunately his brain remains his brain, the brain of an accountant and businessman and not the brain of a doctor.
Of course when faced with this kind of difficulty, Aaron could not ask for the help of another doctor, because other than he did not have much time, it would lead to suspicion towards him. All he could do now was to persevere and force himself to be patient checking in with his limited abilities while trying to stay as thorough as possible in doing so.
Aaron's eyes were already reddened from being forced to excuse himself from reading the writings carefully. But Aron would not give up, he checked about three-quarters of the file and found nothing.
Unable to continue like this, Aaron knows that he won't be able to stop until he finds something.
Withstanding the sleepiness from his poignant eyes Aaron tried to refocus his gaze. He reread all the writing on the paper in his hand, then suddenly he found something, he said, making his drowsiness expelled vanished just like that and his body that had been leaning on fatigue immediately stiffened because it was as if getting a new injection of energy.
There goes. This is what he was looking for!

“How is Elana condition?”
It was Xavier who first managed to get rid of the feeling of being stuck in his chest and immediately asked Akram a question. The man moved closer, impatient for an answer and Elios seemed to choose to follow him in silence while waiting for the same answer.
Akram himself looked like a dazed person. The man stared at Xavier and Elios alternately while frowning as if his brain was having trouble digesting what his sense of sight was visualizing.
Akram's attitude upset Xavier while Elios back there chose to be patient and wait until his boss could speak. Of course Xavier wasn't as patient as Elios. He tried to glance behind Akram's back to find Nathan's doctor or anyone who could be questioned, unfortunately he did not find it.
“Akram Night.” Finally Xavier tightened his tone, forcing Akram to listen. “What happened to Elana?” ask her with a demanding voice. “Is Elana okay?”
For a moment Akram returned like a confused person, there seemed to be something else that filled his head so that the man had difficulty stringing words to answer.
However, before long Akram suddenly smiled, his face beaming until almost brilliantly glowing. The man immediately placed both hands on Xavier's shoulders, patting him hard until Xavier frowned in confusion with his foster brother's behavior.
“Xavier.” Akram grinned, calling Xavier's name with a bright expression. “Xavier!” repeat again with a louder tone of voice.
“Hey.” Xavier looked at Akram with sharp confusion. “What happened? Master yourself.”
Although Xavier's tone of voice sounded harsh and unfriendly but in his heart he felt a streak of hope start to light up.
Akram did not seem to cry, the man did not look frightened and gloomy. There, Akram even smiled widely with a beaming expression. That means there's nothing to worry about from Elana, right?
However, of course Xavier did not let himself be happy first without getting proof. It could be that his adopted sister is going crazy because she worries about Elana to act beyond reason.
“Where is Doctor Nathan? I better ask him.” Back Xavier looked behind Akram's body without finding anything. He did not force Akram to answer his question because from his observation, he immediately decided that Akram could not be helped anymore. His foster sister seemed to have gone mad.
Akram blinked, the twinkle in his eyes managed to be slightly dimmed even though it was still burning. The man had apparently managed to gain control of himself and restore his logical mind.
“Doctor Nathan is still inside. He was busy handling Elana,” said slowly. His voice sounded trembling as he continued his sentence. “Elana... Elana was bleeding, and on the way to the hospital, her blood was flowing very hard to make me very anxious.” Akram's expression looked extremely tormented. “When arriving here, the doctor decided to perform an emergency cesarean section to save the mother and her baby.”
Xavier held his breath. “What happened? How's the baby doing? Is Elana still in the process of operation?”
“No. Operation is done.” Akram was beaming again, a smile broke on his face again as if the man could not control himself not to smile widely.
“Elana is sleeping. The condition is stable and the operation is running smoothly.” Akram let out a deep breath as though all sorts of pleasant feelings were flooding into his chest to overwhelm him.
When he spoke later, his voice sounded impolite. “Elana gave birth to a very beautiful baby girl. Our daughter, our jewel. She is amazingly beautiful, Elana and her baby are amazingly beautiful.”
***
Xavier stands in front of a glass that confines itself to a special baby room located on the top floor. He gestured to the nurse who followed in his footsteps and the nurse stepped inside the sterile, self-cleaning, baby room, wearing full protective clothing before entering the area where baby Akram and Elana are and opening the curtain behind the glass that covers and restricts the baby to Xavier.
Xavier's eyes were immediately fixed on the tiny figure that was sleeping soundly inside the incubator box. The baby is beautiful, with thick eyelashes, a high nose and beautiful lips that make it look very adorable. His cheeks are also plump, as well as his body. The baby's body is large enough to weigh and plump here and there so it doesn't show at all that he was born a few weeks sooner than he should.
Dr Nathan said that Akram and Elana's condition was stable, but the baby remained in a state of observation until they all made sure everything was going well.
Xavier only hopes that this stable and calm condition continues, so that all can get a happy end.
The nurse seemed to wait patiently as Xavier watched the baby closely, then after a while, the nurse signaled that time was up and the curtain would be closed. Xavier nodded in response and the curtain closed tightly to block the view from the outside.
The man was still standing for some time in front of the wide glass wall before him. His expression was pensive as he tried to digest the foreign feelings churning in his chest.
He was not the father of the baby, but the innocence, beauty and purity of the sinless baby before him warmed his heart, it made her feel sad when the curtain closed and she couldn't look at the baby any longer.
Xavier's lips covered a smile full of irony when he imagined the commotion that had occurred earlier.
It was only fitting that Akram Night could not leave this place, forcing continues to stand in his current position and is furious when the time to watch his baby who is in the incubator box is limited in the interests of the baby itself.
Akram would have wanted to linger looking at his daughter, he would have wanted to hold her daughter. Unfortunately, the current condition had not made it possible for him to do so.
Fortunately, Nathan's doctor managed to persuade Akram to cooperate. With a persuasive attitude, she tells Akram that it is better if the man is on the side of Elana who is recovering post-surgery and that they will take care of the baby. Akram is finally willing to accept and willing to be half dragged away by doctor Nathan leaving this place.
If only Nathan's doctor wasn't good at persuading, then, maybe Akram Night will build a tent in front of this big glass and protest demanding the hospital nurses to open the blinds of his eyes to the area in the baby room so that he can freely look at the baby twenty-four hours full.
A smile spread across Xavier's lips. It is fitting that Akram warns him of the feelings of a father who first sees or hugs his beloved son, it turned out that the man lost his sanity and cold demeanor and immediately turned silly and a little crazy voluntarily when it came to his baby.
Will he be like that later? Sera will also give birth, and not just one, the woman will deliver two babies at once to the world.
What will he feel like later? What would it feel like if she got the chance to hug her children in her arms? Will he explode in happiness and act silly beyond reason like Akram?
Thinking about Sera makes Xavier miss. He took his cell phone and called his wife.

The day had already rolled past the morning line, creating a light half-hearted feel as drizzle had rained down on the earth since early morning. The sun seems to prefer to hide, fortifying itself with drizzling curtains that get louder with time.
Sera tried to sleep since Xavier left early this morning, but she was agitated and could barely do so. He finally lay still with his eyes closed while praying for the salvation of Elana in his heart. When the sun started to rise, Sera was already bathing, tidy, changing clothes and was enjoying her breakfast in the kitchen pantry while staring at the large glass door that reflected the heavy rain out there.
A cup of warm lemon juice with some fresh mint leaves soaked in it was in front of him, ready to wash his mouth from the greasy breakfast menu he had devoured until it had run out earlier.
Sera took a sip of that warm lemon mint juice, savoring the taste that felt right along with the rain out there and at the same time, her phone rang aloud.
When he saw Xavier's name, immediately Sera picked him up. The phone almost fell out of his hands because he was in such a hurry.
“Xavier?” Sera's heart was racing as she opened her mouth to ask. “How's Elana?” that question he asked first, conveying his anxiety about Elana.
Silent for a few seconds, then Xavier sounded across the street with a smile in his tone.
“Elana is fine. Her bleeding has been treated and doctors are running emergency caesarean section for her. I still can't see him because Elana is still in postoperative observation.”
A smile was still reflected in Xavier's tone of voice as he replied.
“The baby is fine. He was still being treated in an incubator because he was born a little faster than he was. But, overall fine.” Xavier gave a long pause in his sentence and when he hooked it up later, his voice sounded raucous. “Baby girl, Sera.. and she is very.. beautiful.”.
Sera heard Xavier's voice tremble at the end of her sentence and a warm feeling instantly filled her soul.
Ah, his Xavier has really changed this time. The man used to have a soul that was too cold that it was impossible to be filled when he looked at a sinless baby-like creature that was very beautiful to be grateful for. However, Xavier was now willing to soften his heart and be touched when he looked at a newborn baby into this world.
“Will...our babies later, will they also be healthy and fine when they are born later?” Xavier suddenly asked, there was anxiety within his tone.
Sera smiled, nodding her head even though she knew that Xavier could not see her.
“Yes, Xavier. Your baby will be born healthy and well. I think they will be very beautiful, because they look like you, because they are your children.”
Silence stretched across that phone conversation, though, the two parents who were waiting for the birth of their child were filled with a sense of haru that was so very very to make their voice equally stuck in the throat and difficulty stringing words.
It was Xavier who spoke later, breaking the silence between them with a hopeful hoarse voice.
“How are you doing? Are you all right? How are the twins?”
“I'm fine, just a slightly swollen leg, but not as bad as yesterday, I can still walk around.” Sera smiled widely. “The twins are still as active as usual. Since this morning, they kicked around noisily, probably wanting to wake up and eat. I was so hungry this morning, you know I've spent a big piece of fruit cake and a big plate of fried rice made by a very delicious chef.”
Xavier chuckles. “Keep a lot and you'll be fine.” His tone turned serious when he spoke later with a raucous voice and stuck. “Keep fine, Sera. Promise.”
Sera's heart warms. The sentence sounded simple, but Sera knew that her husband had spilled all his prayers and hopes into her sentence. He felt Xavier's sincerity and it made him feel strong.
“Yes, Xavier. I'll be fine. I promise.”
Xavier seemed satisfied to hear Sera's sentence, most of his brilliance faded so that when he spoke then his voice sounded light.
“Do you want to come to the hospital?”
Sera nodded her head excitedly. Of course he wants to, he wants to be with Xavier, he wants to see Elana, he also wants to see the tiny baby of Elana and Akram who is definitely very beautiful.
“I want!” Sera tried to answer calmly, but she did not manage to hide the excited tone that was blazing in her voice.
“I'll make the settings.” Xavier did not elaborate, but Sera knew that the man was talking about setting up a security perimeter to guard and protect him when he stepped out of the house. “Prepare, you will be invited to come to the hospital.”
***
“Mistress, the hospital said that while there was a repair in the parking lane upstairs because there was a car slipped when going up to the top parking lot just now, so we had to park here and head upstairs by entering through a special elevator at lobby.”
Derek, one of the high-class bodyguards assigned by Xavier to guard Sera, opened the door of the parked car in the parking area close to the hospital lobby.
Sera nodded her head, indicating that the change of plan was not a problem for her.
“It's okay, I can enter from anywhere,” he replied calmly.
Xavier had ordered Sera to enter through a special parking lane on the top floor that was directly connected to the floor where Elana and her baby were being treated. Maybe Xavier thought about Sera's security, but for Sera herself, who would be interested in attacking her in this peaceful condition?
After all, if any enemy came to attack, they would have difficulty because the surrounding Sera was guarded tightly, both by the bodyguards who escorted her blatantly, as well as those who escorted her from a hidden place.
“Then, I will prepare your wheelchair.” The crane closed the door back before taking the wheelchair folded in the trunk. The man deftly prepared the wheelchair that Sera was wearing because her swollen legs made it difficult to walk, then immediately helped Sera get out of the car and sit in her wheelchair.
The crane itself pushed the wheelchair into the hospital lobby area which is now quite crowded in the morning hours leading up to noon which is the rush hour of the hospital. The guards followed from a safe distance, making sure the entire perimeter surrounding Sera was clean with no threat from anywhere.
Everything went smoothly until they arrived in front of a special elevator that looked guarded by two bodyguards placed by Akram there and prepared to go upstairs.
“Please excuse me, Mistress.”
A foreign voice suddenly sounded greeting behind them. The sudden and unexpected call immediately made Derek's body and the other bodyguards stiffen alert. They all immediately put in a standby position, ready to protect whatever happens, even some have put their hands in the pocket of his suit, preparing to take a gun if needed.
“Sorry, Mistress.” The man who greeted Sera stepped closer in a relaxed manner as if oblivious to the tight guard surrounding Sera. “I found this handkerchief on the floor in the hallway you passed earlier. I guess, you dropped this?” The man showed a clean white handkerchief with a beautiful embroidery of tiny blue flowers on four sides of the edges towards Sera.
Sera looked up to stare at the face of the man who greeted her more clearly. The man's face felt familiar, making Sera frown and squeeze her brain, trying to remember.
Shortly after his attempt was successful, that fresh memory instantly appeared in his head.
This man is a doctor, a doctor known to Nathan's doctor and yesterday passed them at the health facility where his father was being treated.
“Doctor Oberon?” Sera called the name of the doctor exactly as she heard it yesterday and the doctor in front of her immediately smiled wide with hospitality while nodding his head.
