The Russian daytime sky seemed cloudy as Dimitri stared from the window of the black car that had been parked in this place since some time ago. The cold air is definitely piercing out there, accompanied by the white snow that melts as winter in Russia begins rolling towards the spring that is impatient to come.
When the figure of the woman who walked firmly with the escort on her left and right finally stepped closer to the car, Dimitri grinned, saying, gave a brief nod to give permission as the female figure got into the car and sat down beside her.
His men immediately closed the car carefully, leaving Dimitri alone with Sabina who chose to keep her mouth shut and drown them in silence.
“You've finally come.”
Dimitri finally decided to break the silence and smiled with a probing look towards Sabina. Akram Night has sent Sabina back to Russia on a special plane and Dimitri is chained to his hands and feet and forced to submit to the brothers, assigned to take care of Sabina for everything she does in this country.
Dimitri's gaze pierced sharply judging towards Sabina, before then his approach sounded loud.
Well, after being well observed, Sabina has technically turned out to be a robot with life accessories, not a human with free will as it should be.
Sabina only nodded her thin head to answer Dimitri's greeting, her attitude as if she did not know Dimitri. The woman stared blankly straight ahead, focused on her goal and thought Dimitri was not important. It made Dimitri again crouch, staring at Sabina with a look of disappointment.
“In the lamp period, you must have thought I was weak and laughed at me behind my back for being helpless against the brothers due to the bombs and poison in my body, right? Now instead this is your fate, ending up like a robot that has no mind of its own, controlled by them completely.” Dimitri chuckles. “At least I still have a will over my own mind. While you.. you don't have it at all.”
Dimitri watched as Sabina who was sitting stiffly did not respond, the man then shrugged and turned to the driver waiting behind the wheel.
“Jalan,” His order while mentioning the name of the hotel where Sabina was revealed later. The driver nodded his head and drove his car quickly through the quiet streets in the cold early hours of the morning.
Dimitri turned his head towards Sabina, then raised his chin towards the suitcase-like bag he had placed in the middle of them.
“Everything you need, weapons, communication tools, identity cards, money and everything else is in there. I'll drop you off at the hotel then you can move according to your instincts.” Dimitri grabbed Sabina's chin and faced the woman towards him. “I think, even though your brain has been ruffled, your skills are not faded. Work well and try to find the cockroach successfully. Actually, I don't care if you're gonna die and get killed. But, since right now your success will save me and your failure will kill me, then I guess, I will support you until you succeed. There's a communication device in the suitcase, you can call me anytime you need help and I'll come to you.” Dimitri looked at Sabina's empty eyes and smiled. Well, wherever Sabina is, she will be able to find him. There's a tracking device on Sabina's body, which is why she won't be able to run.
Come to think of it, she and Sabina were both pitiful. Trapped and helpless under the control of others.

Xavier's eyes widened when he heard the threat Sera had thrown at him. The man woke up seated, taking Sera with him in a quick motion. The man's hand moved cupping Sera's shoulder, half gripping her as then his head lowered, staring at Sera with a terrifying menacing look.
“Never use your life to threaten me!” the screams are filled with anger. “Never arrogantly say that you will die before me by taking my son with you!”
Verily Sera was trembling. But Sera knew that she had to strengthen her heart to face Xavier's unusual anger.
The man was usually always calm and in control, facing everything with a smile and cynical words that were piercing enough to make his interlocutor shut up. However, this time Xavier struck him with a near-terrible blaze of anger….
Sera gulped, trying to look into Xavier's eyes deeply, not to challenge and further ignite his anger, but so that Xavier understood the meaning contained in his words, which he blurted out according to his heart.
“You ordered me not to be arrogant, but aren't you the arrogant one here?” Against Xavier's angry tone of voice, Sera deliberately changed her speech strategy and spoke in a very soft tone of voice, without a single speck of negativity in her voice.
His attitude made Xavier blink his eyes as if surprised and did not expect that Sera would say that.
“What do you mean?” Xavier's puzzled question later suggests that Sera was successful with her strategy. The anger that had struck Xavier had apparently subsided, ending in a lingering curiosity.
Slowly, Sera let out a long sigh, trying to structure her words properly.
“You set your own time of death. You resisted any attempt at healing that would have worked if you would have tried and instead determined to leave your child, decided to make your child a fatherless child, without you even taking our feelings into consideration. Is that not arrogant of his name?”
Xavier. He never thought of that. All this time he thought that Sera did not want him, and that his son would be fine without him after he left all his possessions and power in the name of his son.
“How do you and your child feel? What's it like?” Xavier decided to follow the direction of Sera's conversation and asked.
“I have expressed my feelings for your arrogant decision clearly, I do not want my son to live life without knowing his father, which is why I asked for an additional clause so that you can carry out a transplant to extend your life. Meanwhile, regarding the feelings of my son, our son, maybe you should wait until you can take your son to talk.” Unknowingly while speaking, Sera's hand moved touching her own stomach and rubbed it, making Xavier's eye gaze point towards her stomach so that the man's expression softened later.
The man's lips then thinned, as if Sera had managed to hit his weakness severely.
“You asked for a very long pause if I had to wait until I could get my son to speak,” grumbled half a murmur. “I think if seen from my condition now, I won't be able to live until that long.”
“Xavier, you can live long if you want to do the transplant procedure. You won't know if you don't try. Doctor Nathan said that the stem cell transplant has high success, because the match has been confirmed almost one hundred percent.” Sera interrupted, getting impatient with Xavier's pessimistic attitude.Xavier thinned his lips.
“You are very hopeful on the success of that transplant. Did you know that the operation had a considerable risk? Especially for someone who has aplastic anemia like me? I could have died on the operating table by then. Don't you realize, it?”
Sera bit her lip. “You said you could die anytime. But rather than stand still and wait for death to embrace you, would it not be better for you to try first to step over death itself?”
“Stop death?” Xavier chuckled, outlining the tension between them. “The choice of your words is quite interesting but I think it is quite impossible. I know my own body condition and I am sure that I do not have the strength to step over that death.” The man looked away, as if to ignore Sera's words.
But, of course Sera will not give up that easily, she must succeed in making Xavier survive, at least, at least, he must succeed in getting Xavier back to life and try to transplant using their son's stem cells.
“I told you, didn't I? You won't know that you haven't tried.” Sera puffed her chin and repeated the words she had previously spoken to confirm her point. He begins to realize that the only path he can take to make the stubborn Xavier change his mind, is to disrupt Xavier's self-esteem. “Are you so cowardly that you dare not try?”
“What do you mean by calling me a coward, Sera? Are you deliberately provoking my male instinct to answer challenges because you belittle and insult me?”
Unfortunately, Xavier was able to read Sera's fishing rod very precisely. It was difficult to fight against a man who was fully a genius, Xavier seemed to be able to walk a few steps away from him, making all his strategies immediately guessed before he could even walk.
“Yes, I may have deliberately disturbed your pride. But isn't what I said the truth? The fact that the transplant procedure is high-risk makes you unwilling to do it, right? It's all because you're cowardly and arrogant. You don't want to be governed by the message of fate. You don't want to die on the operating table because that means you're defeated by fate. You want to determine your own death, behave arrogantly as if you were the one who picked up your death and not you who picked him up.” Sera raised her chin, struggling at full strength to provoke this man in front of her. “In essence, you are very selfish, Xavier. When you are busy thinking about yourself, when you prepare for your own death, you forget that there is me who is pregnant with your flesh and we are still alive here.”
Sera slowly uttered her final sentence slowly, hoping to repel Xavier's stubbornness with her last weapon.
“I will never vilify you in front of our children. When he grows up and can accept my explanation, I will explain clearly what happened. I will explain about your decision not to fight, also about your choice to take your death and leave it. Nothing I add or subtract, I'll be honest with them. However, after hearing my decision, do you not think that most likely our children will harbor hatred and disappointment for you? Their father did not even want to fight to be with them any longer.”
Sera's words clearly managed to hit Xavier as Sera had intended before. The man was stunned, as if his genius brain was unable to work.
A long time later, when Xavier finally managed to speak, his voice sounded slow and calculating.
“That stem cell could save them in the future, when that damned genetic will pass this aplastic anemia disease to them,” slowly growled towards Sera.
Sera also thinned her lips, strengthening her resolve.
“Doctor Nathan said that the odds are pretty small. After all, if that were to happen, our children would have each other. If they are indeed twins, then have a brother to support them. They can help each other if someday the worst happens to them.” Sera looked up, unable to resist touching Xavier's cheeks, forcing the man down and looking directly into the depths of his eyes. “Can you think of yourself for once? Will you try for our children?” ask him with a demanding attitude that does not accept objections.
Xavier lowered his head and looked into Sera's eyes, his gaze sharply probing as if wanting to read what was inside Sera's heart. Afterwards, the man let out a sharp sigh, while his breath was blown half in despair as he finally spoke.
“You said you would add that clause to our agreement, and I also reserve the right to add one new clause. If I agree to use the stem cells from that placenta in the transplant process for my recovery, then that means you have to agree to one clause of my terms that I'm going to propose, right?”
What a shameless man. Sera could not help but thin her half-excited lips. She struggles to get Xavier to perform the transplant procedure by using stem cells from their children's placentas, all other than for her children, and especially for Xavier's own safety.
However, now shamelessly the man asked for in return one clause of the terms to Sera?
Sera did make the offer just now, solely for the sake of promising Xavier justice, but she did not expect that Xavier would snatch it shamelessly.
Xavier's sharp eyes were of course instantly able to guess what was inside Sera's mind. The man grinned, then shrugged his shoulders as if innocent.
“You filed it yourself, Sera. Are you going to pull yourself what you promised?” he said with an irritating guilty tone.
Sera thinned her lips, looking at Xavier carefully. He knew that offering something freely to Xavier was a reckless act he might regret later.
The man was very shrewd, it could have been Xavier filing a clause that was very detrimental to Sera if he wanted to, right?
“Don't be prejudiced against me, I won't trouble you on purpose.” Xavier grinned, his eyes sparkling cunningly which made Sera even feel more anxious.
“Tell me what your clause is and I will consider whether it is acceptable or not.” Sera finally responded as if pressed. He really has no other choice.
“Serafina Moon.” Xavier moved his fingers and slipped Sera's unraveled hair behind his ears. “You asked me to stay alive so I could stay there for your children. Instead, I want you to be my real wife.”
