EOTL Eps 58: A Comfort Offer

In the car, Xavier kept Sera in his lap. His hands hugged tightly, holding the woman's body so as not to fall from there. But he really doesn't have to do that. Because Sera herself was holding her tightly, the little lady's arm was coiled around her neck and hung there as if Xavier was the only grip for her to not drown. Sera's face was hidden in the curves of Xavier's neck, breaking with tears that continued to harden and flow from his net that seemed to not stop, working hard to pump the clear circle until it was drained out with nothing left.

Xavier could feel the wet surface of his neck skin, washed away by Sera's grief. Likewise with his arm that can only wipe the back of the tiny body that continues to shake because of sobs.

Aaron Dawn Fuck.

Xavier gritted his teeth while looking straight ahead. For now, he did let the man off the hook, returning home to Russia safely. Dimitri had already taken appropriate action by rushing Aaron away, before Xavier blew his anger at the useless rotten cockroach. If Xavier had been given a chance to go head-to-head with Aaron, he might have drenched his hands with Aaron's blood, killing him instantly on the spot without a second thought and not thinking about the consequences behind.

Lucky it didn't happen. Because, as bad as Aaron hurt Sera, as sad as Sera hurt, if Sera does not want Aaron to die, then Xavier should not break the promise.

Yes, he is bound by a promise that must be kept in order to commit to their agreement. He agrees to free Aaron and let the man return to Russia safely. Despite that, what happens after the rotten cockroach returns to Russia, however much Xavier wants to kill Aaron and tear him to shreds, the final decision remains up to Sera's own wishes.

Xavier lowered his head, then drowned his face in the softness of Sera's hair. Her lips slowly shrunk, her arms hugging tighter to calm the tiny body that was shaking in her chest.

“Do you want to hug me more than this?” The man without a second thought instantly offered consolation in a unique way. Making love is the only way to comfort yourself and relieve the stress he knows, and he only knows the way of comfort that involves the physical, and the physical, because Xavier does not have much experience in terms of social interaction with other people involving emotions.

His words apparently managed to pierce through Sera's grief, making the woman look up her head and stare in confusion towards Xavier.

“Do you accept my offer? I offer my body to comfort you.”

Xavier succeeds, his sentence makes Sera's stuffing stop. The woman furrowed her brows until she created a flick of a stroke on her forehead, and finally her hoarse voice was heard asking,

“Using... your body?”

Xavier chuckles. “I'm not a good entertainer. I cannot use soft words to strengthen your spirit. So that kind of thing I wouldn't do, because if I forced it, then it would sound empty without meaning.” Xavier's thumb moved rubbing Sera's slightly open lower lip, her gaze turning sharp, while the man lowered his head and rubbed his lips on Sera's lips. “But I can comfort you with my body. Drown you in pleasure and make you forget. You understand what I mean, don't you?”

Sera's eyes widened, her gaze pushy, while disbelief filled her soul.

Xavier offers to make love to comfort her. God, what exactly is on this guy's mind? How can someone offer to make love to comfort a woman who cries from heartache?

“You may think me crazy, but my methods usually work.” Xavier presented a soft, seductive kiss on Sera's lips, sending a twinkle that instantly flooded in without being rejected. “Don't you want to feel for yourself that there's an amazing and much better man than that cockroach in your grasp and be yours?”

Sera. Xavier's words were like magic, teasing him to the very end until he was as if he was being smashed, unable to utter rejection.

“I'm waiting for your answer.” Xavier swiped his nose on Sera's nose. “Do you want to make love to me?”

Sera's cheeks were flushed red, a turbulent stream flooded her blood, making her entire body feel hot. He wanted to make a sound, but his voice was stuck in his throat, making his tongue cuckoo.

That made Xavier smile with understanding. The man drowned Sera back into his arms and gave her a gentle kiss on the top of his head.

“I will consider your residence as an agreement,” concludes confidently.

The man then leaned forward slightly while still hugging Sera, while pressing the intercom button that connects communication with the driver driving the car in front.

“Beloklah, that way.” Xavier mentioned one of the five-star hotels owned by Akram and the driver directly steered the car there, according to his orders.

The hotel lobby was quite crowded, the guests seemed to pass by in accordance with their own affairs, mixed with the hotel officers in neat uniforms who passed to do their respective work.

Xavier chose to leave his wheelchair and walked into the hotel with the help of a cane because he did not want to attract attention. Although a little slower than usual, but his steps were firm when holding Sera's hand across the spacious lobby floor, then took her to the receptionist area.

For a hotel as luxurious as this, the reception desk area also looks very luxurious, coated in black marble with a tinge of gold that looks beautiful in the eyes.

“You okay?” Xavier took the time to turn to Sera who chose to stand behind him in front of the reception desk.

Sera nodded her head in response, choosing not to make a sound. He had already rubbed his hair and tied it behind and wiped away his tears which he had managed to stop with all his might. From afar, she seemed fine, although if anyone approached, they would easily be able to find a tear mark on her swollen and swollen eyelids.

The receptionist greeted when Xavier arrived, causing Xavier to turn his head and distract him. Sera who was observing from Xavier's back could immediately see there was a shock mixed with a sense of fascination that appeared unbearable in the eyes of the receptionist when he saw the face of his amazingly handsome prospective guest.

A natural soft seductive smile immediately appeared on the lips of the receptionist who was polished with a wet pink lipstick. The look in his eyes winked seducingly, throwing a gesture of no objection to accepting a further approach.

“Do you want to book a room?” The receptionist spoke in a softly seductive tone, making Sera involuntarily frown.

It's always like that. All the women seemed unable to take his eyes off Xavier's face and their eyes seemed to be smashed so that they continuously wanted to devour his good looks uncontrollably. Xavier's physical perfection seemed to create magic that made him easily able to charm the heart of any woman he met, making the women move to seduce naturally.

Xavier nodded his head, answering the receptionist's question in a polite tone and a soft sentence. He then placed a special black and gold card taken from his wallet onto the reception desk, making the receptionist immediately widen his eyes surprised to see it.

At that instant, the receptionist stood up, her seducing attitude instantly turned formal, her body stiffened, then suddenly the woman bowed respectfully towards Xavier.

“S-I will call our manager.” The receptionist said nervously, then bowed once more to ask for permission to leave his place, before being flushed away from his reception desk.

His behavior made the receptionists who were in other areas look at each other in confusion. They stared at the back of the female receptionist who left, then turned their eyes in information towards Xavier, the guest who created the panic.

Add another enchanted spy who gazed towards Xavier….

Sera counted in the hearts of the women spies who widened when she saw the physical beauty in the form of life in front of them. At a time like this, Sera realized that Xavier was too attractive to women if he was in a public place. During this time, he and Xavier were rarely in public places alone, their meetings were mostly held in private areas that not many people pass by, he said, this is the only time they are in a situation like this.

For some reason.it makes Sera uncomfortable. Xavier seems too flashy, while Sera just wants to hide and be invisible.

“A-what did you give to the receptionist? Why is he like that?” Sera touched a bit of Xavier's shirt sleeve to draw the man's attention towards her.

Xavier turned his head towards Sera, then smiled gently. “Ah, only the card given by Akram to me. He said if I wanted to stay in one of his hotels, I just needed to pull out that card.”

Sera glanced at the golden black card that Xavier was still casually laying on the reception desk. The card is just a small card, but seeing the behavior of the receptionist who immediately ran away to call his manager, it was definitely a very important card.

“What do you mean... You intend to take free facilities and not pay for this hotel room?” Suddenly the thought flashed through Sera's mind, making her ask impulsively.

Xavier tilted his head, his lips smiling widely. “How do you think? I plan to pick up the best room available at this hotel. It feels nice, have fun with being paid by Akram.” The man chuckled, as if being able to take advantage of his brother had made his mood so good.

Sera frowned. His eyes looked around, into the entire interior of this magnificent hotel lobby. Even the interior of the lobby where it stands now appears to be filled with various luxury features of the number one quality. Sera had traveled for her work and had stayed in five-star hotels in the cities she lived in, but she had never been in a hotel as luxurious as this before.

The price of the cheapest room overnight may be very expensive beyond its standards and will make him frown when he finds out.

“Will... you won't make Akram lose if you do?” Sera asked again anxiously.

Xavier chuckles. “Akram is already rich, he has nothing to lose giving him one room to occupy.” Xavier's hand suddenly moved and grabbed Sera's hand to then join his fingers with Sera so that it interlocked. “No need to think of such trivial things, just think of yourself,” he said softly.

Xavier's sentence is not spoken with a tone full of comfort or a tone of seduction that is usually owned by men with mouths as sweet as honey. Xavier looked stiff when trying to cheer up, his voice even seemed like an ultimatum tipped with orders, but somehow his attitude could touch Sera's heart.

The pain caused by Aaron's unexpected humiliation and tore his soul was still painful, piercing sharp and left a gaping wound. But somehow the comfort from Xavier felt in the heart. Although, Sera suddenly hesitates whether she should really accept Xavier's offer of lovemaking to comfort herself.

Initially Sera thought the man was just joking or just giving extreme offers just to distract Sera from her sadness. But right now, she was standing in the lobby of this luxury hotel, seeing for herself the man was booking a room as their place to make love later.

Sera was really impulsive when she accepted Xavier's offer. The man managed to tease the pain of his dropped pride by saying that Sera could hug a much better one than Aaron.

Now standing here with his logic that had returned, Sera suddenly felt horrified because without a second thought had let Xavier bring her here to make love.

The relationship between the two is really unclear. Couples tied by a marriage cord that fails to bind the heart. Didn't they agree not to involve feelings here and act only transactional? If they make love now outside of Sera's fertile days, wouldn't that only add to their problems later on?

“Xavier...” Sera starts the conversation, trying to speak her mind and hoping that the man can understand.

Xavier wouldn't be offended if they canceled their intention to make love, would they?

“No.” Xavier's voice sounded cold then greeted Sera quickly.

Sera's head looked up and her forehead wrinkled at the straightforward answer, she opened her mouth to ask Xavier's intentions, but the man immediately spoke with warning eyes towards her.

“No, Sera. You've agreed to it. We're already here now, don't be a coward by resigning suddenly.” Xavier continued his sentence, showing that he could clearly see what was in Sera's mind just by looking into her eyes.

Sera looked back from behind Xavier's back who had turned her back and faced towards the source of the sound. His eyes widened when he saw an extraordinarily beautiful woman, and looked extremely elegant.

It was only this time that Sera realized that in order to be sexy, there was no need to wear scanty sexy clothes that deliberately exposed body parts to tease. The woman was wearing a blazer and trousers with a man's suit-like shape, but modified with a feminine exquisite cut that followed her curves. His hair was very short, cut neatly under the ears. But, instead of making her look like a man, the hair that frames the wide-eyed face, the tall nose and the pretty tiny lips, even further accentuates her femininity.

Confidently, the woman reached out, her head looked up, looking at Xavier kindly.

“Good afternoon Mr. Xavier Light, I am Liliana manager of this hotel. I absolutely did not expect that you would come to this place without notice.” A smile appeared slowly on the lips of the woman named Liliana, as if it was deliberately arranged to charm the man. “It is an honor to receive your visit in this place.”

It turns out that the gold-plated black card serves to provide identity to the VVIP guests who come to this hotel. They must have immediately confirmed Xavier's identity and soon learned that the guest who came and handed over this card was the adoptive brother of the hotel owner who also included a large shareholder in Night Corporation.

Xavier greeted the smile of the hotel manager with the same friendly attitude. The man returned his hand, then spoke in a flat tone of voice.

“Thank you for the welcome. I just stopped by impulsively because there was a sudden interest. No need to be too formal.” Xavier raised an eyebrow when he saw Liliana still staring at him as if fascinated. “Can I get my room, now?”

The beautiful woman gasped, but she quickly managed to control herself. “Your room is ready. Best room in this hotel. Will be ready in a few minutes.” Liliana suddenly rolled her eyes with an attitude of seducing her once formal tone, turning into a tantalizing hoarse. “You are alone staying at this hotel, right? If you don't mind, I'm volunteering to accompany you to dinner at our hotel restaurant which has the best culinary delights. After dinner, I can give a short tour to all the best facilities of this hotel, if possible you want to explore it. I guarantee you won't regret.”

The sentence was spoken in a polite implied tone, but even Sera's innocent ears, could instantly translate the meaning. Liliana seems to be a beautiful woman who is used to being chased by men, the woman most likely often makes men fall to their knees at her feet. That's why, confidently, he offered to accompany Xavier both formally and informally.

Jemari Sera was clenched. Is this how Xavier's life has been? Faced with those women who threw themselves into his arms blatantly? If so, why would Xavier defend Sera? He can get a friend to fuck easily at any time, right?

Xavier himself tilted his head, watching Liliana closely. Not suspected interference appeared suddenly when he was ready to make love.

This woman in front of him was indeed beautiful and perfect, and her offer to give herself into his arms was not something that surprised Xavier. Maybe Liliana was indeed fascinated by her physique, maybe the woman really admired her as an idol. More likely, Liliana seemed to think that by being a close person to Xavier Light, she could raise her career path at Night Corporation easily.

Xavier was able to deal with such women, who gave his body and heart only on the basis of material calculations and profitable reciprocal transactions. In the past, he might take the offer without a second thought, relieve his stress and vent it on the relationship bed on any woman who agreed not to use the heart.

But in the present….

Xavier shook his head thinly. “Sorry Miss Liliana. I'm afraid I'll have to reject your offer. I said I came to this hotel for fun and that's what I'm going to do. Unfortunately, my plan to have fun it will never involve you at all.”

Xavier extended his hand back and scooped up Sera who had been hiding behind her sturdy back ever since. Xavier's hand grabbed Sera and carried her firmly, pulling Sera to the surface to stand parallel to her, under her embrace, ensuring that Liliana could see Sera clearly.

“This woman is indeed shy and always chose to hide behind my back. Introduce, Serafina Light, my wife. We are still newlyweds, so you certainly know the sudden need that makes a pair of newlyweds suddenly just turn the car and choose to rent a hotel room because can't wait to get home?” Xavier grinned, behaving brashly shamelessly, bulldozing the awkwardness instantly created between Liliana who was in tremendous shock with Sera who was clumsy because it was placed as a bullet to attack the poor woman in front of her.

“Now, is our room ready? Because I need it immediately.” As if all the blows were not enough, Xavier added again by tightening his embrace on Sera's shoulder, then slightly bent his body to deliberately kiss Sera's side of the ear. “Darling, you're also impatient, aren't you?” the whisper was seductive, with a voice of meaning.
