EOTL eps 4A: First Blood

Xavier's fingers holding Akram's wrists instantly tightened. He had indeed been waiting and predicting times like this. However, it was not at all expected that he would face this with Akram who appeared at the wrong time.

“Did you come with your group?” Xavier asked as he gritted his teeth. After all, he must overcome the terrifying memories that instantly flood once he comes face to face with the kidnapper's leader. Despite wearing fine clothes and perlente, the kidnapper's face was still as hideous as in Xavier's memories of the past.

The kidnapper leader chuckled. “Of course I came with them all. They waited below because I only managed to get one invitation to enter this party. After all, it was only me who was the most handsome so I was the one who most deserved to go undercover to enter this party,” the eyes of the kidnapper leader traced Xavier from top to bottom with a cruel harassing attitude. “Actually I want to kill you right away. But, it feels like it would be nice if we held a 'reunion' first, don't you think?” ask her with a clear harassing attitude.

Xavier's body was trembling. Not because of fear, but more because it restrains anger and disgust.

“If I yell. You will be caught and arrested,” he said threateningly.

Xavier's threat did not make the kidnapper's leader daunted. “On this balcony is very quiet, I have checked it. If you shout, even your voice from this far away place, will be defeated by the sound of orchestral music played down there. Even if anyone hears your voice, they'll be late because I killed you and your brother,” the kidnapper leader's hand came out from behind his body and put his gun straight away, aiming towards Xavier. “I'd love to shoot you and take your sister with me. She may be more fun to kidnap than you are, ” the kidnapper leader deliberately uttered the sentence implied, making Xavier's blood boil with anger until it almost mastered his logic and emotions.

But lucky at the point where he almost exploded, Xavier was able to take control of him. He thought hard, then finally decided to risk himself.

Xavier removed his grip from Akram's hand, while his gaze gave a stern signal that Akram should remain silent and wait until further instructions were given. His body then advanced, deliberately covering Akram from sight and using himself as a shield. His small footsteps boldly brought his body closer and closer until only the reach of the hand of the kidnapper leader was stunned by not expecting that Xavier would be as brave as it was to approach him.

“I haven't opened my mouth to the police and my father, that's what has allowed you to roam freely up to this second. Tetatti, I've written your features and facial features all in a special drawer in my room. If anything happens to me, my parents will sooner or later find the note and chase after you,” Xavier's gaze looks mocking, done on purpose because he knows how narcissistic this kidnapping leader is and how easily his emotions get ignited if underestimated. “Do you know if my father, Baron Night, has already snapped his fingers, then he will get what he got? Moreover, all my father faced was a dirty cockroach like you, even to kidnap a child you were not a dick and made a mistake."

“The kidnapper leader's face flushed in anger at Xavier's belittling words.

This small child, how dare he spy on his adult self? How insolent! Fuck all the plans! It turned out that all the torture he had given Xavier was still not enough! He will give this sharp-mouthed little boy a lesson!

“You brat brat brash pretentious!” the leader of the kidnappers took down his gun, then used his hand to grip Xavier's collar. That was when Xavier moved his hand that had been hidden in his pants pocket. A very small injection that he modified himself, contained the poison of his experiments. Before the kidnapper's leader could evade, Xavier immediately stuck the needle into the kidnapper's arm, making the kidnapper complain of a sharp stabbing sensation there.

“Badness!” The kidnapper shouted loudly. His gun fell out of his hand, while his eyes glanced towards his arm. His eyes looked at the small needle that fell near his feet. His lips then formed a mocking grin towards Xavier. “What are you doing toys, little boy? You think such a tiny needle could hurt me?” the kidnapper leader's hand clutched toward Xavier's neck, then tried to strangle his skinny neck.

Xavier, who knew the kidnapper's attention had been diverted, quickly kicked the kidnapper's pistol, kicking him as far away as possible from the kidnapper. Then, before the kidnapper leader had a chance to do something, Xavier immediately turned to Akram who was still glued to his place with a pale face of fear.

“Run! Find help!” xavier shouted loudly, making Akram gasp from his standing position.

For a moment, Akram still looked doubtful, his eyes glazed with tears mixed with fear. However, Xavier strengthened his heart and again yelled at his sister to move to save himself and away from this dangerous situation.

“Run, Akram! Run!”

The second clash of Xavier was finally able to move Akram's body. The boy retreated in trembling, then with tears in his eyes, Akram turned around and ran away from the passageway, out of reach.

Seeing his precious prey escape just because he had lost his temper, making the kidnapper leader cuss, all the dirty words flooded from his mouth, and the grip of his hand on Xavier's neck grew stronger, using the child he thought was trash as his impingement.

“Damn it! Trash like you should have rotted long ago!” his cry was full of wrath. Forgetting Xavier's threat and his plans, the kidnapper leader decides to kill Xavier right away.

However, something strange was troubling him. Xavier's expression while in his current giggle really bothered him. Instead of fear or pain, Xavier smiled broadly with a mocking look at the kidnapper's leader.

Xavier's facial expression, inexplicably sending a terrible signal that made the feather on the kidnapper's leader stand.

The child was still a child, but somehow it gave off an extremely viscous murderous aura from its body.

“What... Why are you smiling? Are you crazy?” The kidnapper's leader tried to tighten his grip on Xavier's neck. But, for some reason his strength seemed to be sucked in by an invisible force. His hands were sluggish and his body felt uncontrollably squeezed, and instead of tightening his grip on Xavier's body, his hands fell helplessly beside his body, followed by his legs which this time felt the same way, no longer able to support his body.

The leader of the kidnappers glared at Xavier, his body moving backwards, leaning against the wall so as not to fall.

“What... what happened?” the kidnapper leader still managed to make a sound before his body slumped to the floor, his breathing began to sting due to his body heat which increased drastically. Then, before long his eyes began to twitch followed by blood flowing from his nose and mouth.

Xavier straightened up, rubbed and patted his tuxedo to tidy it up with a haughty gesture. He then walked to the leader of the kidnappers, stood right there and bowed mercilessly towards the dying leader of the kidnappers.

“You know what I injected you?’ Xavier spoke slowly in a cold voice. “The injection contains Bacillus anthracis bacteria, the cause of anthrax disease. The bacteria had been modified until they mutated to become more virulent and killed many times more than the original. You will experience itching and blistering all over your skin in a moment, then followed by brain inflammation and severe bleeding from your entire body in the next few minutes,” Xavier chuckled complacently. “I've made sure that you will experience tremendous pain before death picks you up,”

The kidnapper leader's eyes glared. He did not believe that a little child could do this to an adult like him. However, what Xavier said now feels exactly like what Xavier said. His entire body ached and felt a burning heat, fishy blood unceasingly flowing from his nose and mouth, flooding to the point of dripping his clothes. The kidnapper leader even began coughing as he was choked by the blood pouring from his throat. He was unable to move his body and felt an excruciating pain that rendered his body helpless.

Xavier glanced at the body of the kidnapper leader who was about to die. Satisfaction mixed with relief enveloped his heart. But this is not finished. There were still four more people he had to finish.

Xavier left the kidnapper's body unconcerned. The security guards will find the body and take care of it later. He himself has also ensured that the bacteria that attack the body of the kidnapper leader, will only be effective in the body of the infected host and will die immediately after the host dies. This is to ensure that the body of the kidnapper leader will not infect and transmit the bacteria in his body to other healthy people who will later handle the body.

Without looking again at the kidnapper leader who was still moaning in pain, Xavier stepped away from the balcony area. He was about to descend towards the parking area to finish off the remaining four.

If, as expected, four more people were waiting in the car, it would be easier for Xavier.

Because it has a spray-shaped device, it contains spores of Bacillus anthracis bacteria that can effectively kill humans in a tightly sealed space.

The baron who had just arrived home after taking care of everything, took off his suit with a tired expression as he looked towards Marlene who was sitting on the sofa of her living room. Unexpectedly Marlene was even waiting for him so late in the living room, with Xavier who seemed to have slept for a long time.

Xavier is seen lying on his side on the sofa with Marlene's thigh. The boy was seen sleeping with Marlene's fingers rubbing her hair. Baron's eyes searched the room, but could not find Akram there. Most likely, Akram has been delivered to sleep in the room with his caregiver.

Today was extremely exhausting for the Baron. The horrific death of five people at his party, one dead on the top balcony and the other dead in the car in the parking lot, caused great distress. The baron was busy taking care of everything from escorting the results of the police investigation, to dealing with the mass media so that the news regarding this incident remained under control and did not develop into a giant gossip. He has silenced those who need to be silenced, and is working with people in various positions to get things done. That's why, it was only midnight before he could just go home.

Last night, the frenetic party was torn down by Akram who screamed while crying into the middle of the party, looking for help because there are bad people who want to hurt his brother.

The situation became uncontrollable as not only did the Baron scatter into the upper balcony, but it was also followed by the security officers as well as the curious guests. The immediate uproar occurred when they even found a terrible sight there, a dead man's corpse was horribly inundated with all his body filled with lumps and blisters of black color terrible.

It was as if one corpse was not yet terrifying enough, though, security personnel who combed the site to find Xavier's whereabouts instead found four more bodies dead in the same condition in a tightly sealed car in a parking lot.

Results from the lab showed that the bodies were exposed to the same deadly bacteria, just the way they were infected in different areas. The dead on the balcony were infected in his bloodstream and the others seemed to be infected in the airway where the bacteria entered in the form of inhaled spores.

Even more bizarre, the bacteria seemed to be modified to instantly die after its host also died, while the tangible spores in the air are also modified to immediately die after a few minutes do not find a host to be occupied. It makes, even though the bacteria has a terrible effect, it cannot spread and infect others.

The working system of bacteria is really like a killing machine made only to injure people or intended targets…

Marlene's hand was still rubbing Xavier's soft hair, her facial expression was very sad.

“I am so grateful that Xavier managed to escape from the kidnapper and hide in one of our hotel room rooms. But what surprised me was when Xavier finally opened his mouth for the first time after a long time and identified that the dead man on the balcony was the leader of his gang of kidnappers. Shortly police stated that the other four who died in the car were his associates as well. They had definitely come to the party with bad intentions to Xavier, lucky that they had all died before reaching their destination,” Marlene looked up and looked towards Baron in an innocent manner. “Why do you think they all died together? What happened?”

The baron looked directly at Xavier, who was still asleep, and his eyes looked back at Marlene's face.

His wife had a very sincere heart and was always looking at everyone. It all seemed from how Marlene loved Xavier like her own biological child sincerely without distinction. But, up to this moment, Marlene still looked upon Xavier as her sinless little angel…

What if Marlene's view turns out to be wrong?

The baron gulps his saliva, stealing glances at Xavier while trying to eliminate the bad thoughts that plagued him.

Based on the forensic results, the police finally stated that most likely, the five kidnappers had been contaminated by bacteria that had mutated somewhere before coming to the party. So, it was a bad luck when finally the bacteria attacked in its peak condition and made them all die in an instant almost the same time. They were all busy thanking that the bacteria that contaminate it is not a type of bacteria that is contagious and causes pandemics.

The baron thinks that the police hastily closed the case, because the victims were kidnappers who committed heinous crimes that were then in pursuit, so no one grieves and demands justice for their strange deaths.

Isn't that how it is, then once the clap of two flies instantly dies? The police managed to find the abductors, and they did not need to extend the process anymore because the perpetrators of the crime were already dead simultaneously.

Of course there were various suspicions that arose, especially regarding the fortuitous situation related to Xavier's condition. However, when everyone's eyes were on Xavier and saw how fragile the child was, all adults immediately thought that there was no way a child could be the mastermind behind all the events.

However, they were all unaware of Xavier's abilities as the Baron knew them. If they knew just a little bit of Xavier's brainpower, they would all be as frightened as he currently was.

Baron's eyes turned to the glass door of the mini laboratory room he had made for the boy. His heart beats accompanied by an unpleasant premonition infiltrating into his soul.Did he make a mistake by providing the mini lab for Xavier?

Is it true that it was Xavier who orchestrated all these terrible revenge plans?

Sorry Episode 4 turned out to be too long to be a 1 part because it consists of 7,500 words, so the author broke it down into 3 parts, episodes 4A, 4B and 4C which are 2500 words, yes, so that it is not too long load.
