They snatched Edward up this night out of the blue without talking about anything before me and without my consent.”
The frown on Elana's forehead deepened as she thought hard to find a good reason behind all the decisions taken by Xavier. He knows that Xavier means well, and he feels sad because he does not have the strength to convince Akram that whatever Xavier does, is to help Akram.
The grudge of the past and all the bad things that happened to Akram due to Xavier's actions, surely has made Akram accustomed to prejudging Xavier. The relationship between the two brothers has indeed developed to be much better, considering they can now work together, talk normally to solve problems together. Unlike the past when Akram and Xavier could not have been more than ten minutes in the same room without hurting each other. However, Akram is used to taking the worst prejudice against Xavier, and the man's stubbornness makes Elana have trouble convincing Akram to think otherwise.
Slowly Elana cleared her throat, looking at Akram carefully.
“Maybe... maybe Xavier has his own reasons. He caught the embezzler in your company, doesn't that clearly indicate that he intends to help you? And why did he make that arrest without your consent, he could not bother you who was taking a leave to be with me, right?” elana asked slowly, trying to instill positive thoughts in Akram's mind.

Akram's question echoes in the air, and Elana realizes the dire consequences are until she answers wrongly and reacts wrongly. Akram is a possessive and jealous man, that Elana already knew a long time ago, but one thing is for sure, when dealing with Xavier, the man had a feeling of jealousy that was dozens of times more than usual.
Elana's mouth opened to answer, but at the same time, Akram's phone rang again, making Akram distract him from his intimidating attitude towards Elana, and look back at her phone screen.
This time was no better, Akram's expression was even more furious than before. The man gritted his teeth until his molars looked stiff, then glanced at Elana with a huffed look.
“This Xavier. “You must have been thinking badly this time,” Xavier's voice seemed calm when the man started the conversation with the angry Akram.
“Explain to me so that I don't think badly of you,”Akram harshly replied later. “You took a decision beyond my consent and also overstepped my authority. How could I not have bad thoughts about you after you did that?” hardik Akram later.
Xavier seemed to take a long breath.

“Don't act like you're the victim in this. You're the villain and you'll still be!” Akram interrupted impatiently as he listened to Xavier. “Explain immediately to me why you decided to arrest Edward in such a hurry.”
“Edward decides to flee abroad tomorrow morning. I had to take a quick decision to subdue him before he managed to run,” Xavier replied instantly.
Akram frowned. “Avacating abroad? Hadn't Credence's investigation been so careful that Edward was completely unaware that Credence was gathering evidence to ensnare him? How did Edward know? Or maybe Credence's investigation wasn't as careful as I thought?”
“Credence investigation is done flawlessly,” Xavier said directly to defend Credence's credibility. “Maya is the culprit.”
“Maya?” Akram squinted. “You mean, he leaked Credence's investigation to Edward?”
“Yes. And he also offered to remove the incriminating evidence of Edward, he also proposed to Edward to flee abroad while he cleared Edward's problems here,” Xavier replied quickly.
