"Just chase a woman and you're not good at it?" Akram snapped, throwing the digital screen in his hand at his men violently. "Find the location point! Find him immediately!" harden with an impatient tone.
With his head bowed, his men rushed to pick up the digital screen that Akram threw at him, reading it for a moment, and then read it, then rushed to move with his men to head to the location displayed by the tracking device in the hand of Elana's arm.
At the same time, another group of bodyguards came in shock, running towards them with an unusually panicked face.
"Mr Akram!" the man leaned over and tried to neutralize his stupefied breath. "We've found Miss Elana. she's near here.but.." the man hesitated, as if he was shrinking for a moment. Even so, he had no other choice but to report the true circumstances to his master who was currently already in a state of tremendous anger. His action was certainly like throwing fuel on a fire that was burning. "But there was Mr. Xavier there with Miss Elana .., he. he accidentally collided with Miss Elana and they were having a conversation. We backed out and did not ambush him. We are waiting for instructions from you for the next step." the man continued with a breath of breath.
Akram's expression turned wrathful, growing darker and horrifying. However, he refrained from swinging his hand and beat his incompetent men to pieces.
There is still another important thing to do and it concerns the salvation of Elana's soul.
Although Xavier interacts with Elana, the monster still seems to have no idea that Elana is the favorite woman Akram wants to hide from his clutches. His men had done right by taking a step back so that Elana's status was not discovered. And for now, Akram has to keep Xavier from knowing any truth about Elana.
"People surround them from all sides and make sure Xavier is aware of it. He's gonna run. Afterwards chase him and dribble him back to his car and make sure he stays away from the location" Akram gave a firm order, taking into account all the possibilities carefully and hoping that this time no one would mess up his plan.
Akram's hands clenched in anger at the thought of Elana. Damn that woman! Somehow Elana carelessly always herded herself into distress, making Akram's chest ache and his heart seemed to be about to explode due to anxiety.
She should have never given permission for Elana to get out of her range! She should have locked up and chained Elana up in her room, then made love to her all day until Elana ran out of steam and was too tired to try to get away from her!
***
Elana widened her eyes, staring at the man in front of her in a daze. At once, he had trouble digesting what the man was saying before he realized his point clearly.
Holy hooch! He had called the man by the name of an impolite nickname that he should only use in his heart!
"Ma..sorry me!" Elana immediately bowed her body to apologize for her impoliteness in a very embarrassed manner. Unfortunately, he forgot that his current position was so close to the man in front of him, that when he bent his body, his head hit the man's chest hard until there was a crashing sound.
"Ah...sorry..sorry!" frantically Elana moved back, stroking her painful forehead.
How hard....is that man wearing armor behind his clothes?
Elana was deep in heart, unaware that people who had many enemies like Xavier, always wore bulletproof vests under her clothes to protect themselves from unexpected attacks.
The man in front of her stepped closer to the retreating Elana and kindly placed Elana back under the shade of the large umbrella she was carrying. The man's lips thinned as if holding an amused expression looking at Elana's ridiculous behavior. His smile that was originally meant to be charming, unbendingly unraveled, turning into a wide, more sincere smile.
"You don't have to apologize, I think the call was interesting enough for me. I will allow you to be the only creature on earth who can call me that, "there is a thin arrogant tone tucked behind Xavier's voice, he said, but managed to be covered by his very soft speech.
Elana looked at the man in front of her who was smiling widely, and her forehead wrinkled. This man did indeed look better compared to the time of their previous meeting. There was already a hue on his cheek, though in fact, between the dim light of the street and the speck of rain that threw himself excitedly to the earth, the man still looked so pale.
Perhaps it was the color of the surface of this man's skin that was already pale from there. Elana instantly concluded herself in her heart
"You're healthy? What does a sick person like you do walk around alone in the rain at night? Will it not make your condition weaker later?" elana asked attentively, voicing what was inside her mind honestly.
Xavier's eyes widened. Unable to contain himself, his smile turned bitter with a flash of shy hue rolling on the surface of his pale face.
Lana seemed so honest with her words. The woman gave the question earnestly without any intention of insulting or ridiculing him.
But, jesus! How ugly was the first impression he left in the eyes of this woman? Is he seen as a weak and sickly man? Does not this woman realize that she is dealing with an extraordinary handsome figure whose charm is valued by women and envious of men?
"I'm fine, don't you see?" Xavier tilted his head in an unclouded interested manner. "I was going to the cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee and warm pastry covered in pure sweet butter," Xavier answered Elana's question while pointing to the canopy cafe that was Elana's previous destination. "You yourself, what are you doing running around here, Lana?"
Xavier suddenly remembered that before hitting him accidentally earlier, Lana was running through the rain in a hurry like being chased by a demon.
Is the woman really avoiding criminals or is she just trying to avoid the rush of rain?
Elana's eyes glared with sinless light as she answered. "I. uh. was just about to go to the cafe to shelter," Elana pointed at the same cafe as Xavier had pointed out earlier, then suddenly looked at Xavier suspiciously. "Why do you know my name?" shoot it vigilantly.
Xavier grimaced when stared at as if he was a perverted criminal whose hobby was peeping on women's underwear. Never had he been suspected like this before for having had knowledge of a woman's name. Usually the women are surprised and happy when they discover that Xavier knows his name.
"Your name..." Xavier said with a smile all wrong. "In yesterday's meeting you were wearing a cleaning service uniform and on your shirt your name was written." Xavier touches his chest to make Lana understand his words.
Elana's lips opened in astonishment at the reply of the man in front of her. When he realized that he had suspected someone for no reason, his cheeks immediately flushed in embarrassment.
"You and I have the same goal, to that cafe...." Xavier said, breaking the awkward silence between them. "How about we drink and eat something warm in there while waiting for the rain to subside? I haven't thanked you for your help last time, so I'll treat you later," she softly bargained, hiding his heart beating expectantly with a rhythm that gets faster every second when with the unique woman in front of him.
This feeling is completely new, because Xavier never wanted the answer 'Yes' from a woman before...
"No, sorry, I can't," Elana immediately replied straightforwardly without consideration until Xavier's writhing hope woke up, immediately pushed back to smithereens without having time to resist. Yes, since his stupidity accepted the offer Karel hitchhiked in his car to drive him to the club where he worked at that time, Elana swore in her heart that she would be cautious in the future and would not easily trust any man, even if the man's appearance might seem weak and harmless.
"Why?" Xavier felt an empty gaping hole in his heart hearing Lana's rejection of him. This was his first experience inviting a woman and was immediately rejected. His arrogance was subdued instantly, forced to turn around defeated with a head bowed in shame.
"I must go home soon ..." Elana frowned, thinking about how she explained about the figure of Akram to the man in front of her.
He couldn't possibly say that he was held captive and held captive by an arrogant man who held him back just to be used as a lustful gratifier, right?
Xavier looked at Elana curiously.
Unexpectedly, Elana even nodded her head strongly in response, as if Xavier had managed to describe what it was difficult to express.
"That's kind!" excited though. "He's not my parents but some kind of rogue-looking guard! And he's very, very fierce and scary like a bear whose feet are pricked by thorns. Even a ferocious herder will turn around clamping his tail between his legs if he has to face his wrath!" connect Elana with a funny honest tone.
Xavier again could not help but laugh at how ridiculous the parable used by Elana was. I don't know when Xavier never laughed before. However, just a moment with the woman, Lana has managed to make Xavier express happiness unconsciously, making her smile widely, giggle amused and even laugh loosely like just now. This woman gave a comfortable feel that surrounded her heart, as if her soul felt light, despite all the heavy burden that surrounded her.
Xavier was about to say a word, wanting to persuade Lana to reconsider her invitation to spend a little longer with him. Xavier still does not want to lose the pleasant nuance that cradles his feelings, he wants to be with Lana even longer. But then, his watchful eyes suddenly caught a shadow of those dressed in black suits who in an instant seemed to appear on each side hidden as if besieging them.
Akram's men? Did Akram now decide to play rough and attack him blatantly?
Xavier stared at Lana's innocent face and knew right away that he had to get out of here so that the woman in front of him was safe and protected. If Akram is going to attack him, he must be away from Lana so that she is not affected by his feud with Akram.
"Of course I'm afraid of your guards" Xavier said softly half-jokingly. "I also don't want you to get upset by your guards for coming home late due to my invitation to have coffee at the cafe. So, go home and be careful, "Xavier grabbed the umbrella he was carrying in Lana's hands, then stepped back and let his body rain.
His actions clearly made Elana open her mouth to protest.
"But... But what about you? Are you sick? The rain will make you sick even more..." Elana moved closer, trying to push the umbrella back into Xavier's hands, but Xavier raised both hands to the front of his chest as a sign of rejection.
"No need, Lana. I wasn't that weak as I had to lose to the rain" Xavier's smile seemed brilliant as he said goodbye. "My name is Xavier and hopefully there will be a chance for us to meet again in the future. I'll find you" Xavier made a promise to himself. The man then bowed his body in an elegant style like a prince in a fairyland, then turned around and rushed away leaving Elana who was just glued to his back could not prevent.
Akram's men, as he had expected, immediately chased after him and followed him. But Xavier's nimble steps get him through the door and leave them all behind. Xavier finally reached where his car was parked on the side of the road. At the location, it was Regas and his driver had been waiting faithfully.
Regas rushes around the car and opens the door for Xavier. Afterwards, he returned to his place next to the driver. Then according to the approval of Xavier, Regas immediately gave orders to the driver to run the car drove off the location, leaving the location, through the hustle of the highway enlivened by the drops of rainwater that eagerly inhabit the earth and feast on the surface of the ground.
Xavier leaned his head against his car seat, his hands crossed and his eyes closed. In her heart full of hope that Lana had left the place and escaped the attention of Akram's men. If Akram connects himself to Lana, it will have a bad impact on Lana and Xavier really do not want it to happen.
Xavier never worried about a woman this big before...

When Xavier's back was gone from sight swallowed by the torrential rain, Elana turned her body and wanted to rush away, only to find the figure of Akram Night standing with a face of tremendous wrath in front of her.
Elana's body instantly trembled receiving the anger signal that emanated from Akram's body and directly pierced into his soul. Elana wanted to run, but she knew that there was no chance for her to run.
Akram's men must have surrounded this location with no gaps, and with a microchip in his hand, there was no longer any chance for him to run.
"Come, Elana." Akram beckoned with his hand, ordering arrogantly for Elana to come closer to him.
Elana. But know that he has no choice. Slowly he stepped closer, then stopped at a safe distance carefully.
Acram looks soaked. The man stood under the rain that had befallen his body mercilessly, but behaved as if he did not care for him. His eyes that were blazing with anger were only focused on staring at Elana.
"Are you satisfied playing a chase? Is your integrity so low that you easily break your promises?" ask Akram in a cold tone. The man's body was stiff and made no attempt to reach Elana who was in front of him.
"I. I don't mean to run ..." Elana cried out in self-defense, trying to beat the rush of rain that muffled her voice. "But you suddenly showed up at the party and impulsively I...."
"So, it's all my fault." Akram interrupted roughly, concluding quickly with a cynical grin on his face, leaving Elana at a loss for words.
"Mom.no, I mean I..."
"Is that the umbrella that Xavier gave you?" suddenly Akram switched the conversation, his sharp eyes fixed on the black umbrella that was in Elana's hands.
Elana frowned. Akram's sentence made him realize that Akram did know the man who introduced himself as Xavier earlier. Even Akram had warned Elana about how dangerous Xavier was.
"Not only did you break your promise and make a futile escape attempt, you didn't even heed my warning to stay away from Xavier...." Akram narrowed his eyes threateningly, then suddenly moved at full speed, snatching the black umbrella from Elana's hands and throwing it onto the pavement very roughly.
Elana opened her mouth to protest. However, the words that had gathered at the end of her tongue turned immediately into a startled cry when Akram suddenly bowed and scooped up Elana's body, then threw Elana on her shoulder as if carrying a sack of rice.
Then, regardless of Elana's hands hitting her back and Elana's feet thrashing in protest, Akram steps up quickly while carrying Elana to her parked car just off the street.
Both bodies were soaked. However, his bodyguard who was waiting with a flat expression immediately opened the car door in a very polite motion when his master came closer.
Akram throws Elana into the passenger seat in the car and lightning-fast catches up next to her. After the door closed, Akram gave the order in an impatient growl, making the car rush through the crowds to bring them home.
Later. In-house. In her room, Akram would teach Elana a lesson so that she would never think again of rebelling and running away from him.
