"He's not Aaron."

Xavier spoke coldly while staring at the results of the examination that appeared on his laptop.

"Are you sure?" Akram asked slowly. He knew that it was unlikely that Xavier was wrong to conclude, but he needed a more detailed explanation in order to be completely sure of what Xavier had said.

"Very sure." Xavier nodded his head. "I did a test run by taking a sample of the corpse's hair. You certainly know that Aaron has received both the poison and the antidote from me. Neither the poison nor the antidote from me, it is so unique and has an effect all the way to the cells that traces of it can be traced to the human body that is exposed and cannot be lost for decades to come. That's why, I used the corpse's hair to do a trail search." Xavier replied smoothly, then closed his laptop and grinned. "The body is clean. There was no trace at all of either from the poison or from the antidote of mine. So, I can conclude with certainty that despite the corpse."

"You're absolutely sure? You know, right? The body was genetically modified so that the DNA was messy and could not be traced or matched again?" Akram asked again, frowning while waiting for Xavier's answer.

"My examination has no direct connection to DNA. Whether it is damaged or intact, it will not affect the results. I'm purely tracking chemical traces of my poison or antidote and I'm pretty sure that even if the DNA has been severely damaged, it won't affect my results." Xavier turned his back on the large chair that was in front of Akram. "I guess that one thing was missed by Aaron. He had done everything meticulously, facial surgery on a corpse that was very identical to himself, the exact size of the body of a corpse as he was, he said, even the DNA damage that made the corpse impossible to trace based on his DNA. All the effort he's done is perfect to make us believe that the body is Aaron. But, of course he missed one small part that he might have underestimated. He didn't realize that my poison and antidote should have left an indelible trace on his body, and that trace couldn't be imitated easily."

"So, do you think Aaron is behind all this?" Akram asked back. "If he's the culprit, then we can come to the conclusion that he's alive, right?"

"of course. I am one hundred percent sure that he is alive." said Xavier confidently. "I underestimated Aaron all along and it was a mistake that was the cause so that he could find a gap to hold on. But, in fact, we can take advantage of the corpse."

Akram frowned. If the corpse turned out to be not Aaron, then it would be useless, Akram had planned to eliminate the corpse by cremating it in high temperature to ashes, then throw the useless remains into the ocean. However, Xavier's words made his brain think, and when he came to a conclusion, his expression seemed both alert and incredulous.

"You.. You didn't think to show Sera the body to manipulate Sera into thinking that Aaron was dead, did you?" the question is fast, filled with misgivings.

Xavier's response was to laugh. The man thinned his lips, putting on an expression as if wounded hearing the words of Akram.

"I know I am indeed able to fulfill your worst expectations by being the most vile and the most evil figure, Akram. However, you can't possibly think that I'm that cruel by showing a dead body to my wife who's pregnant, can you?" xavier asked in a slurred tone.

Akram cleared his throat, a little filled with guilt. In fact, that's what Akram thought. He thought that Xavier was cruel and was able to show the body to Sera, in order to make Sera stop thinking about Aaron who had been clearly a buffer between Xavier's relationship with Sera. However, it turns out that Akram's conjecture was wrong, Xavier seems to have changed, a ruthless figure who loves to torture traitors with the most terrible methods ever, has turned into a dedicated husband and is very protective of their wives and future babies.

"Well, I did think that." Akram did not deny, trying to get rid of the guilt in his mind. "You know, if you intend to do that, then I won't agree. A pregnant woman should always be happy and should not experience shock or trauma that can affect the condition of her baby."

"I know." Xavier nodded his head and did not argue. "What I mean by taking advantage of the corpse, is that by looking at the corpse, I can guess what step Aaron took to hide himself perfectly so that he can escape our pursuit."

"What steps?" Akram is usually observant, but he still admits that sometimes, Xavier who has an undeniable genius, can be more thorough and more observant than himself.

Xavier raised his eyebrows. "Didn't you notice? The fact that the corpse had the exact same face and was perfect with Aaron, suggests that the corpse had undergone excellent plastic surgery. Even I couldn't find the former operation at all. The operation was so perfect that it was impeccable and the operation could only be carried out by a very skilled person."

"I understand that the corpse had undergone a very good operation on the face area, he also underwent genetic modification so that his DNA could not be traced. But, what does that have to do with the benefits for us in dealing with Aaron?" Akram interrupted again, looking dissatisfied with Xavier's answer.

"The perfect plastic surgery. That's the key." Xavier grinned. He changed his identity and changed his face and was very careful that his new identity was not connected to his old self at all. That's why he didn't fall into the Sabina bait that we had put up, and that's why we couldn't find him from hiding. Because Aaron has changed into a different person."

"You're sure that Aaron did that?" Akram raised his eyebrows. I don't know why he couldn't stop asking questions since their discussion. Maybe it's true what Xavier said. He and Xavier looked down on Aaron too much and considered him unfit to be their enemy. But, in reality, Aaron may be more cunning and shrewd than they think.

Well, the fact that Aaron was able to be patient and not stand out for years by being a subordinate to the one-eyed Roman Dawn showed just how devious the man was. Aaron has extraordinary abilities, but he purposely hides them in order to keep Roman Dawn from feeling threatened by his presence. He was willing to hide his potential and perform like a shadow, willing to be treated like a lowly servant as his camouflage. Behind it all, it turns out that Aaron has been gathering power behind Roman Dawn secretly, the man bought most of the shares belonging to the Dawn Family, he also took over the rights to some properties that had tremendous potential later on, and some 'theft' the next untraceable thing that was done so nicely that Roman Dawn did not even notice it when it was done in front of his nose shaft.

"I think we should change our pursuit method." Xavier frowned. "It's going to be difficult because we don't know who Aaron's turning into. It could be that he killed the owner of the real face then stole his identity and put himself with that identity. If that's the case, chances are Aaron's closer than we thought."

"He's still after you. ah no, he's still after Serafina Moon." Akram concluded calmly and Xavier nodded his head to confirm. There was no rebuttal from him, what they thought remained the same. Ever since Aaron took out the competition, Xavier is convinced that Aaron really wants Sera back by his side.

Well, it's pathetic. When Serafina was there to adore him, Aaron did not appreciate it at all. However, when Serafina turned away from him, only then did Aaron realize that he had ignored something very valuable. Humans are indeed overwhelmed with greed, they do not appreciate what they hold and continue to want the property of others. But when they lose what they once held and did not appreciate, then they feel how valuable it is that has been lost.

Thinking about it all made Xavier clench his hand. Even he himself had become that greedy human. She once let Sera go, saying that she would be fine when the woman went away from her. However, it turns out that he can't live without Sera. Their extraordinarily peaceful lives throughout Sera's pregnancy days, felt so pleasant to her. It's so much fun that Xavier won't lose it. He becomes greedy, forgets that he is suffering from a disease that could kill him at any moment and begins to hope to live a life forever with Serafina.

"Cow." Suddenly Xavier felt like he wanted to switch the conversation. He didn't want to talk about Aaron anymore and the thought of Serafina made him want to ask. "How's Elana doing? I think she's a few weeks older than Sera's pregnancy, right?"

Akram's expression changed. When Elana's name was mentioned, Akram immediately transformed from a dark and cruel man into a husband and father full of warmth. Akram's lips grinned before then forming a wide smile that was almost ridiculous.

"I am truly blessed." Akram couldn't help but chuckle. "Elana's first pregnancy tortured me half to death. You certainly know how I was forced to sleep apart and stay away from my own wife because Elana always vomited every time I approached or every smelled my scent, right? I spent months in torment as Elana conceived Zac in her first months. But right now, everything is different, it's amazingly different." Akram's eyes glittered with a warm glow that was almost blinding if it could be invisible. "Elana clings to me half dead, she's so spoiled and she's...." Akram's voice was low, full of satisfaction. "He always asks to be hugged at all times."

"Blessed to you, you have been redeemed from the torment of Elana's first pregnancy." Xavier threw a smile of tofu as tofu, chuckling at the thick satisfaction in Akram's voice.

"Then what about you? How's Sera doing? I heard, since the discovery of the body, you tightened the security guard at your house? Did you get a hunch that the body was a fake?" ask Akram later.

Xavier nodded his head. "I also forbid Sera from going out. Well, that doesn't mean he can walk everywhere in his present condition. You know, Serafina's belly is huge. And that makes him tired." Xavier replied in a regretful tone, as if he was plagued by guilt.

Akram shrugged his shoulders. "Isn't that normal? In twin pregnancies, the size of the abdomen is indeed larger than the usual pregnancy, however, there are two growing babies there. Isn't Nathan always doing regular checkups and stating that Sera's content is fine?"

Xavier took a long breath. "Nathan said everything was normal. But you know that Sera is so thin, even my efforts to feed her a lot, it doesn't seem to work. It was as if all the nutrients she received were directly passed on to her two babies and left nothing for her. I'm so worried. Sera's legs are very swollen and she has trouble walking, she's tired as I said, her breathing is breathless and sometimes tight, she can't even find the right position to sleep at night, always moving restlessly all night." Xavier squeezed his hair in frustration. "If only I could, I would like to take it upon myself to endure all the pain and hardships she suffered in this pregnancy. "I persuaded Sera to be admitted to the hospital. In Elana's first pregnancy, when Elana was exhausted by uncontrollable nausea and vomiting, I forced Nathan to stay in my house and I also paid a special nurse to take care of Elana at home. In the end, the nurse took her retirement and became Zac's nanny until now."

Akram sighed before continuing his sentence. "You certainly know that the feelings of pregnant women are the main key for them to undergo pregnancy and birth without the potential for harm. If Sera is admitted to the hospital, her movements will be limited, she will only live her days in the room, like a patient with a disease when she is not sick. Mentally, it's not good.
