Xavier got closer, breaking through the circumference of Sera's comfort limit, until the only way he could do was to put both palms of his arms against Xavier's chest to try to create some distance between their two bodies.

Xavier's head lowered, then the man removed his grip on Sera's face and turned his hand to grasp Sera's wrist pushing her away. As Sera tried to release her hand from the man's grip, Xavier held it firmly, deliberately showing the great distance between her strength as a man, with Sera's body strength being just that of a woman.

"Didn't you know that when you decided to cross the line of warning and approach me, you were the same as giving yourself up to me?" Xavier lifted his head from the side of Sera's face, their faces so close that Xavier's breath warmly blushed his face and their noses touched. The man even muttered his sentence on the surface of Sera's lips. "I've poisoned you, Serafina Moon."

The words were spoken so casually, filled with a terrible tone of satisfaction, even with their effect on Serafina which instantly widened the eyes of fear.

Xavier poisoned? When's? In what way? What kind of poison or virus has contaminated his body now? How could he still not feel the effects until this moment?

"You poisoned me?" the question is stamped, still in disbelief.

Xavier chuckles. The man pulled back his head slightly, and removed both of Sera's wrists which he had clutched, but did not keep his body trap away from Sera.

"I injected you with a special poison when you passed out from alcohol poisoning and then I took you to rest in my house...,"

The words spoken by Xavier without shame and without feeling guilty made Xera's blood boil by anger to the crown. That burst of rage that made him unable to resist slapping Xavier.

A loud slap echoed filled the spacious room that only the two of them were in. The voice came from Sera's hand that swung with all her might to Xavier's cheek that just fluttered away.

"You really don't have integrity!" exclaimed Sera furiously. “Why did you do it to me? Did you really intend to kill me from the beginning?”

Xavier didn't even blink over the slap. His expression looked terrifyingly cold, while his eyes stared intently at Sera.

"I am not privileged with you, with your position already accepted as my personal assistant, I am simply carrying out the same procedures as I do with all my employees. Didn't you know that I, Xavier Light, always inject poison secretly to all my employees? From the closest position to me to the one that I have never come into contact with, if they work for Xavier Light, then they give up their lives as a guarantee of loyalty" Xavier squinted. "Because I know that no matter how determined people are to be faithful, the dark side of their hearts still has a speck of possibility of betrayal. With this poison, I made them obey me while eliminating that speck of possibility."

Xavier watched Sera's fear closely as she continued her sentence. "Just relax, the poison won't have any effect on your body if I don't get it active. The poison was hibernating enjoying a comfortable sleep in the bodies they entered. They will only activate when I decide to ‘wake up their’.”

Sera's eyes flashed between the horrors combined with anger.

“What poison did you put in my body? And what do you mean by activating it?” he nodded with a trembling voice.

Back Xavier chuckled, as if laughing at Sera's fear. The man moved his hand to Sera's shoulder to help the woman's slightly dazed body sit up straight. Afterwards, Xavier stepped back just one step away from Sera's body and crossed paths.

“Every time I find any indication of betrayal from everyone who works for me, then I will activate the poison that makes their bodies bees. Level one activation will only make you vertigo, nausea and vomiting throughout the day…. Final level activation, will make your immune system does not recognize which friends and which opponents, until it will eventually attack your own organs and gnaw the body from the inside.  You don't need to know what poison is in your body and how I activate it. You just need to know, that when you betray me, then you'll die.”

Sera gritted her teeth. She was so scared, the way Xavier told her about the poison effect was truly terrifying. But, the urge to fight inside his soul was strong enough that he finally dared to bully.

“I've even betrayed you since the beginning. If you wanted to kill me, you would have killed me a long time ago, Xavier Light,” he said half defiantly. “The fact that you didn't kill me, I suspect you must need me.”

Xavier raised next to his eyebrows. “Truly I like you and you are too useful to just throw away. And again, you are smart enough to dare to challenge me,” Xavier's eyes narrowed with a dangerous attitude. “Yes, I do need you. You could say, I need your body.”

Sera's eyes widened in fear. “What do you mean?”

Xavier grinned. “You'll know soon. Later.”

Sera's lips thinned as anger filled her, bulldozing her fear and making her stare straight at Xavier defiantly.

“I want to know now. What does this have to do with my body? Do you want to use me as a guinea pig for your crazy research? Actually, what kind of poison have you put into my body?” exclaim Sera with a rough voice.

Xavier's eyes seemed to be gleaming with dislike when he learned that Sera still dared to challenge him, even after the woman knew there was poison put by Xavier into her body.

“For what are you so curious about the poison that enters your body? So you can find the antidote?” xavier's eyes narrowed. “Not bother doing it. All my poison was made by a special method, where I intervened myself to give a secret touch that no one would be able to easily map. If the chemical makeup of my poison cannot be mapped, then no one will be able to concoct the antidote. So now, all you need to know is, that once I thrust poison into your body, you've been mine.”

Sera's clenched hands filled with anger.“You have gone mad, Xavier Light,” furious then in a reproachful tone.

Xavier laughed, laughing at Sera.

“Didn't you know that from the beginning? You know you're dealing with a madman. The most dangerous enemy is the madman, because the madman is an unpredictable creature from the very beginning. Those beings with crazy minds, no limits in their brains, can do anything that no sane person would think or dare to think. And you, as a normal human being whose brain is limited by logic, are no match for a madman like me.”

Xavier's sentence was released in the air like a terrible ultimatum, making Sera tremble slightly when thinking about the truth of Xavier's words.

Well. He's the stupid one. Judging from the beginning, he underestimated Xavier too much and his brain intelligence was above normal. He even let his guard down and looked at Xavier like a normal person, just like him. He forgets that he is dealing with a dangerous psychopath, which is dangerous not only because he can poison people with various terrible viruses without blinking and without guilt, he said, but also because Xavier has abundant wealth that makes him able to do anything.

Money can be used to get anything. Including confidential information about Sera even though Roman Dawn had tried to hide meetings behind various layers of information that was deliberately made to mislead.

Sera should have been more wary of her past being closely related to Xavier. But Sera felt too confident. With all of his qualifications tightly sealed, he thought he would not make Xavier suspicious, let alone use his power to extract information about him completely.

Because of his carelessness, Sera had to bear her own mistakes. Fall into the clutches of Xavier Light without realizing it and without him being able to fight back.

But for now, Sera could not fight back. With the presence of poison in Sera's body, the man's position clearly had the upper hand. He could even make Sera do anything, with the threat of Sera's life in his grasp. And Sera still doesn't want to die. Not before he could figure out a way to get Xavier to accept punishment for any crime he committed.

The only way Xavier wouldn't trample him was to compromise. A cunning snake must be faced with equally crafty. Sera did not want to be a weak rat who resigned when wrapped before then devoured roundly.

“You said you needed my body. For what?” Right now, he already had nothing in him, both soul and body that could be maintained, from the very beginning came and tried to take revenge on Xavier, Sera was ready to die. However, he did not want to die before his vengeance was fulfilled. If his body was the only bargaining power to make Xavier let him live, then Sera was already determined to give it away. Maybe Xavier wants to make Sera's body as an experimental material to test the poisons? If that was the case, then Sera would have given up her body to use. He knew in the end he would die as well at Xavier's hands, only now, could he at least delay for a moment his death.

Unfortunately, Sera's determined attitude was even used by Xavier to disturb him. The man who had moved away came closer. His hand was raised to stroke next to Sera's cheek, and this time, although Sera's body gasped and stiffened withholding forcefully, he did not dodge.

Xavier again bowed towards Sera, bringing her face closer to her face in an eager seduction manner, while her thumb stroked Sera's cheek with a deliberate lightening of her feathers.

“If I want to approach you slowly and want to pretend to act as a polite man who respects women, I could have said that I needed you to find a way for me to get to the Dawn family and teach them a lesson. But I don't like to lie and be hypocritical just for the sake of getting a woman. I was able to reach out to the Dawn family without your help at all. So...,” Xavier put his nose on Sera's nose, this time his lips have already touched the surface of Sera's lips and exhaled back his hot breath there when he opened his mouth to make a sound. “The real reason I keep you alive, is because I'm curious about you. That's the only reason why I let you live to this second.” Xavier finished his sentence with a gentle kiss.

Then, after a kiss that somehow long, Xavier released his lips and gave small kisses while then at the side of Sera's lips with a soft attitude that washed away.

“Serafina Moon's. I want you to be my woman.”

Sera's eyes widened, still inexhaustible to hear Xavier's sentence. She had tried her hardest to turn into the opposite woman to Xavier's previous lovers whom she considered to be women who met the criteria to be Xavier's taste, she wears a short hair wig to hide her real hair, she dresses up in a muddy outfit, she even leaves her women's signature elegant demeanor and replaces it with a sparkling cheerful demeanor until it is arguably childish.

And that, can still make Xavier interested in him physically? Is the contents in Xavier's head unpredictable? Or is he who is stupid and acts like a joke clown who does not realize that he has been lied to from the beginning?

“Is.... have you gone crazy?” sera's lips trembled as she uttered her accusation, her eyes gleaming in disbelief, bewildered to spit out what sentence to attack Xavier.

Xavier's smile widened, the man rubbed Serafina's wet lips with his thumb, then raised his eyes to stare at Seraphina sharply.“Why do you keep asking questions that you already know?" he said in a mocking manner. "If the poison in your body is still not enough to make you surrender yourself voluntarily to me. then you must remember the life of your father who is in prison at this time.”.

Serafina's face paled. “What....what will you do to my father?” frightened shouting.

Xavier grinned. “For now, of course I haven't done anything. But, it all depends on your answer, I will give you time to think tonight.”Xavier's voice was cut off because the door of the room was open and Nathan was the one who entered the room.

“I will do regular check-ups to patients.” Nathan spoke after looking alternately at Sera and Xavier to assess the situation.

“The conditions are pretty good.”

Nathan finished his examination and turned to look at Xavier, who waited in silence and lay close to the treatment bed, watching.

Nathan's forehead wrinkled. Ever since he entered this room, the atmosphere inside the treatment room was extremely stressful, as if there were thin strings that were stretched out in the air and ready to break at any moment.

His female patient seemed to be chased by terror, sitting quietly with a pale expression and the two fingers squeezing each other like holding something back. Xavier's attitude was just as bad. The man wore a threatening expression with a sharp gaze that seemed to penetrate into the soul.

That unpleasant nuance really bothered Nathan. However, he had already decided not to interfere with Xavier's affairs. He would just exercise his capacity as a doctor, then leave.

“Can he go home?”

Xavier then spoke and broke the monologue that had been done by Nathan.The Xavier question made Nathan turn his head towards Xavier with an alert attitude.

“You want him home? Did you forget that she doesn't have a home?” nathan said with a cynical attitude, not hiding the attitude of blame in his voice when alluding to the fire problem that was certainly caused by Xavier.

“He will be home to my house.” Xavier said again, deliberately decided with an arrogant attitude, not giving Serafina a chance to open her mouth.

The man stepped forward from his position that had been watching in the shadows, then approached Serafina without the woman being able to resist. With a creepy grin, Xavier stood by the side of the bed, where Serafina sat, then grabbed the woman behind her arms.

“Maybe I haven't told you, Nathan. But I'd rather tell you now than later you decide to do something that might ruin my plan. Serafina Moon is my woman.”

Nathan's body stiffened, showing a real distrust. His sharp eyes watched alternately between Xavier and Serafina.

Truly, even a fool can certainly tell that what is plastered in front of his eyes is not the sight of men and women who have each other willingly.

Xavier looked like a crazy hostage-taker with his satisfied grin, while Serafina was very similar to a hostage who could not move because there was a sharp knife mounted to his neck.

Nathan thinned his lips, looking sharply at Xavier

"Did Akram already know about this?” nathan asked slowly.If Serafina applied as a personal assistant at Night Corporation, of course this is related to Akram, right?

Xavier shrugged his shoulders. “You think I should tell Akram for my personal business? It has nothing to do with it.”

Nathan tightened his molar, suddenly realizing the reason why Serafina was acting so obediently towards Xavier.

“Did you poison this woman?” ask her with a rude attitude.

Xavier did not reply, but his expression showed everything.

At once Nathan stepped back and turned his body. “We talk outside,” growls fast. Then, with a gentle demeanor, Nathan turned towards Serafina, throwing a guilty look. “Sorry, Miss Serafina,” she said slowly, then stepped out and closed the door behind her.

Xavier seemed to have no intention of rejecting Nathan's ultimatum before leaving. The man removed his embrace from Serafina's body, then approached to present a kiss on the side of Sera's face.

“I have to deal with that grumpy doctor first. Don't forget..,” Xavier deliberately hung up his sentence to create a terrible effect for Sera. “Think of my offer earlier, because tomorrow morning I will not hesitate to charge your answer.”
