“Stt…. Don't make a sound and I won't hurt you,” Xavier said slowly with a soft tone and eyes filled with solemnity.
Meanwhile, Elana looked at Xavier and her soul was still not frightened. Xavier's sentence was indeed spoken in a non-threatening tone, but the message contained within was implied on the surface. The man clearly said that he would not hurt Elana, as long as Elana did not make a sound.
If Elana screams or screams for help, Xavier can strangle her or smother her so she can't breathe, right?
There's no other choice. Finally Elana nodded her head.
Xavier paused for a moment, watching Elana to be sure, studying the woman's facial expression, before then releasing her hands on Elana's lips and looking at Elana with a look of apology
"I'm sorry I smothered your mouth. I didn't do it intentionally. I was just surprised because you seemed to be about to scream out loud earlier, so the reflex did. I'm sorry,” he said in a sincere tone.
Elana did not make any sound. The look in his eyes watched Xavier vigilantly, while his heart was filled with questions. The infusion made her lose consciousness and sleepy, until Elana released her self-defense and fell asleep. What he did not suspect was, when he woke up, he was alone inside this room with Xavier nearby.
Where are Elios and Nathan? They said they'd keep Xavier away from him. But why was he left alone with Xavier?
“Elios and Nathan are outside and watching for you,” Xavier as if he could read what Elana had in mind. The man tilted his body and let Elana see a glass display on the wall right in front of them that showed Elios and Nathan sitting on the sofa outside the room.
Elana turned her head and looked at the two while frowning confusedly. However, he had not had time to ask a question in his heart because Xavier suddenly immediately explained without being asked.
“Don't blame them for leaving me free to be near you without preventing,” with his wide smile, Xavier said. “They didn't know I was here,"
Don't know Xavier's here? The glass door that filled the wall was clearly very clear and translucent. Elana could see Nathan and Elios clearly.
In that case, how could the two of them not be able to see Xavier who was currently nearby?
“The one in front of Elios and Nathan is now a digital screen. Showing a recording of a picture of yourself sleeping while receiving an infusion with a constant view and not at all suspicious. Right now, Nathan and Elios think that you're sleeping as they seem in their eyes, while they don't realize there's me in this room.”
Xavier's explanatory sentence was uttered in a happy tone, like a proud child who had succeeded in judging ignorant parents. But the result was the opposite for Elana. Elana's face immediately turned deathly pale with great fear.
Whatever Xavier does to him in this room, Elios and Nathan won't know?
Elana opened her mouth, about to scream back for help. The reaction was seen by Xavier and the man this time chose not to silence Elana's mouth as before, instead of jumping up from the edge of the bed and raising both hands in front of the body like the movement of people giving up at gunpoint.
“Do not shout. I promise I won't hurt you. I'll even keep my distance from you and not touch you if you want me to feel safe. I just want to talk!” sahut Xavier was quick, though his voice was commanding but his tone was low whispering and did not sound intimidating at all.
Elana looked towards Xavier and frowned. He watched Xavier intently while his forehead creased deeper when he saw the sincerity that radiated in Xavier's clear eyes.
Xavier may seem sincere. But, according to the explanation given by Akram to him before releasing Elana to go to Xavier's house, Xavier is a psychopath. That means this man in front of him can display his innocence in the form of a charade of sincerity, without any hint of guilt.
Therefore, however, Elana should not be caught off guard and mired in the trap of Xavier's play.
“You.... want to talk about what?” elana asked later, her voice weak, accompanied by the decision to give a chance.
Xavier immediately put on his most dazzling smile, lowered his hands and grabbed the chair at the end of the room, then dragged it closer towards the bed.
When she saw Elana's face paled as she dragged her seat too close, Xavier voluntarily retracted her seat back a little, just at the distance Elana considered safe.
“Begini is enough?” xavier asked plainly like a child, looking at Elana like the gaze of a hungry puppy waiting for a bowl of warm milk that was being prepared for her.
A smile inevitably escaped from Elana's lips, making Elana immediately thinned lips to get rid of the smile from there. He reminded himself to stay vigilant against Xavier if he wanted to stay safe.
“That's enough,” replied Elana slowly.
“Ah, good.” Xavier sighed as if relieved, then sat on the chair, leaning over while slipping his legs and looking at Elana deeply to make Elana feel puffed up.
“You.... You want to talk about what?” as Xavier continued to stare at her without breaking a word, Elana finally decided to repeat her previous question.
“First of all I want to apologize for putting the poison into your body. I have no other choice. If you want to get some time with you, then I have to do it.” Xavier spoke slowly while his eyes stared straight at Elana.
Elana frowned again. Can't help but pursed his lips and looked at Xavier with a scornful look.“If you want to get time to talk.you shouldn't use poison. You will be able to talk to Akram," Elana said slowly, venturing to an opinion.
Xavier immediately chuckled at Elana's words, as if Elana had said something very funny.
“Speaking with Akram? You think my brother who is hard on that can be talked to? All he did when he talked to me was growl like a wounded bear because his leg was pierced by a thorn. I have no other choice and I hope you understand,” Xavier looked at Elana to confirm her condition. “That's why I thrust a harmless poison for six days, a poison that only worsened on the seventh day. It's a poison that's gonna put you through hypothermia, but I know that great doctor Nathan can handle everything. I also knew that Akram would accept my offer before the seventh day arrived. I've calculated everything perfectly, Lana. Therefore, this is where you are now, exactly perfect according to my plan,” said Xavier without needing to feel cover his pride to himself.
“And you bothered to do that just to talk to me?” the reprehensible tone mixed with disbelief in Elana's voice sounded increasingly thick, making Xavier grimace full of irony.
Lana's reaction to him was completely unexpected. Xavier had already guessed that Lana would be scared of him. But afterwards, even with the fresh look of Xavier, the, friendly and full of smiles like this - an original look he never showed any woman – Lana showed absolutely no signs of falling into her charm.
In that case, Xavier would have to work harder than this to touch the girl with her charm.

"For now I just want to talk to each other. You talk, I talk. We know each other, doesn't that sound interesting?” gentle Xavier Goda.
Unexpectedly, Elana turned her face away. “No... it's not interesting. If possible..” Elana then yawns without feeling. “If I may... I want to sleep again?” tanyanya asked permission half-heartedly.
Xavier immediately moved out of his chair, feeling awry as his tease did not even get a pleasant response from Lana. He was about to step closer, but his legs came to a halt when the ray of fear lit up in Lana's eyes again as he followed Xavier's movements. Finally, Xavier just stood awkwardly there, confused can not go forward but did not want to retreat like faced with the choice of eating simalakama fruit.
“Do not sleep again. I promise I won't bore you. I really want to get to know you and want you to get to know me so there's no misunderstanding between us, okay?” all of a sudden, when he realized that Lana was going to reject him, Xavier's eyes turned sharp with meaning. “There are still three more meetings after this, and if you want to receive the entire antidote serum in full to save your life, then you must accept my kind offer to speak.”
Because, if this man has the same character as Akram. Xavier will get even more oppressive when he looks too weak, but will respect him if he is strong and ensures himself in an equal position.
Once again Xavier chuckled at Elana's words, pleased that she was finally more detached and willing to open her mouth to talk to him. Slowly he stepped back and sat back in his chair, his mouth grinning as if his mood was really good this morning.
“Unfortunately I'm not playing in front of you. I show you care and anxiety, all of it real and sincere from inside my heart,”.
As Elana pursed her lips and showed a clear distrust, Xavier chuckled loosely.
Really, this woman really made it easy to laugh without any burden. Had he found Lana first, maybe he would have kept this woman at home and ran towards this woman every time her mood worsened. He imagined Lana would be able to enlighten herself instantly.
“You must have heard of me from Akram. And I'm sure what came out of Akram's mouth was certainly not a good story, but rather a creepy story that frightened me as it did yesterday when we last met,” after finishing his laughter, Xavier connected with a serious tone. “I'm right, right?” tanyanya.
Elana turned her head towards Xavier, staring curiously.
“Is that why you want to talk to me? You want to defend yourself and refute everything Akram told me?” he asked back quickly.
Xavier shook his head. “No, I don't want to refute it,” Xavier's expression turned dark, grim and scary. “Because of what Akram said about me, it's all true.”
Xavier's words sounded terrifying, making Elana feel a streak of horror running down her spine, prompting her to clench her hands and glance at the giant glass look behind Xavier.
Elios and Nathan still don't seem to be aware of the situation inside here. Will they hear and help if Xavier suddenly spirals out of control and attacks him?
“I told you I wouldn't hurt you, Lana. I may be evil and have no qualms about spilling someone else's blood for my benefit. But I always hold my word. So, relax your tense shoulders so that we can have a quiet conversation,” Xavier apparently followed the glance of Elana's eyes so that he repeated his words not to hurt Elana.
Elana turned her gaze back to Xavier. Finally decided to follow the direction that Xavier intended towards him. The time to be in this place is still very long, and Elana is not sure Xavier will spend that long talking to her constantly.
Perhaps, after they had finished conversing and Xavier had finished what was his goal, the man would leave here and leave him to rest alone, right?
Elana really hoped that that was the case, so she would serve Xavier to speak, so that all this would be finished soon.
“Your time is still long here, but I myself do not have much time to converse with you in a calm condition without the distraction of Elios and Nathan,” this time Xavier was the one who glanced towards the glass door where the two people he was talking about were. “They are not fools, and I know they always report the current situation to Akram. Akram himself, certainly not a fool. He would soon realize something was strange and have Elios check it out,” Xavier glanced at his watch. “I suspect maybe in about an hour or two we'll get caught. After that, we will not be able to speak this freely because the two beings will always shadow. So, maybe it's better if we get started."
“What do you want to know about me?” elana asked quickly, encouraged by the impatience to solve everything.
Xavier's eyes were so sharp as he asked.
“How did you end up with Akram? You guys are supposed to be in two different worlds and shouldn't be in contact with each other,” Xavier shrugged when he saw Elana's angry gaze. “I apologize for all the accusations I've thrown at you before, as well as the insults that made you slap me. I really deserve it. But, wouldn't everyone who saw you with Akram think the same way? What else might happen when a poor girl becomes the lover of a rich man? You can't get involved in love at first sight like a rich prince and a poor girl like Cinderella's fairy tale novels, can you?”
Elana's cheeks flushed red, she then decided to answer honestly, but of course did not explain everything in detail.
“Akram saw me in a club toilet where I worked, then he decided to have me, and he did,” Elana replied briefly and stiffly.
Xavier raised next to an eyebrow. “In toilet?” suddenly Xavier remembered that Elana also first met him in a toilet and he immediately chuckled. “I was wrong, maybe your story is not the story of Cinderella, but the love story that springs from the toilet?” he could not help but laugh.
Elana looked at Xavier with red cheeks in embarrassment. “You want to talk to me or actually you just want to mock me?”
Xavier smiled broadly. “I'm not mocking you, beautiful,” she said in a seducing tone. “That's a compliment to you. You as a toilet cleaning girl, able to exude your extraordinary charm to make us-we are fascinated by you. Not at a magnificent ball, not at a lavish banquet, but in a very humble place like a toilet. I guess, what I told you earlier is true, you have magic in your body that makes us like beetles veiled flowers blooming with honey, attracted to you without being able to fight.”
Elana looked at Xavier with a look of disbelief. “You were attracted to me only because of my relationship with Akram Night. You and all your obsession to destroy everything that belongs to Akram Night... Why do you have to involve me in the dispute between you two?”
“Because you are one in a million that I may never find even in the next decade,” Xavier's sentence is simple, but it was spoken with such an earnest seducing tone that any woman would surely blush and blush with a proud heart.
Of course the same thing didn't happen to Elana. His expression remained flat, as well as his heartbeat. He won't be easily fooled by Xavier's play.
Xavier studied Elana's expression, then advanced his body and focused his elbow on his knee while his hand he used to support his chin.
“You said that Akram decided to have you and he did,” Xavier's eyes narrowed as he looked at Elana with a probing look. “I know my sister. When he wanted something, then he would take it without a second thought, even though it had to resort to coercion. So, did Akram impose his will on you, Lana? Did he rape you, and then hold you captive so that you were forced to endure under his power?” guess Xavier's on target.
Elana immediately turned her head to listen to Xavier's vulgar question. Meanwhile, his voice was stuck in his throat, making him unable to give any answers.
Although Elana did not reply, her attitude alone was enough for Xavier. Lana's reaction gave the answer to her question. In accordance with his assumption.
Xavier then rewinded his body, leaned his back on the chair and crossed his legs. This time his face turned serious while his eye rays were filled with calculations.
“If I offered you freedom, would you accept it?” ask her with a mysterious tone.
Elana immediately stared back at Xavier, filled with curiosity.
“What do you mean?”
Xavier smiled gently. “You can see that by power and wealth, I am almost equal to Akram. I might be your only hope to escape from Akram's clutches. I can create a new identity for you, then send you to a place that Akram doesn't track. You can start a new life with enough capital, a good job with your new identity in a safe place. I won't ask for anything in return. In fact, I swore I wouldn't touch my hand to you since you moved to your new place. You'll be completely free, completely free like a bird that's released a cage.”
Xavier scanned Lana's entire facial reaction to the slightest point. “You'll be happy Lana. You don't forget that easily, do you? Akram has kidnapped, raped you, held you captive and demeaned you just to be his lustful slave. She certainly never valued you as an individual, not appreciating you as a woman who has self-esteem. Wouldn't being free from such tyranny be so much fun? If you accept my offer, then I will guarantee that you will be free, loose, and happy.”
