Xavier's words immediately spread terror throughout the room, in accordance with what he meant.

Blood seemed to be being absorbed from Roman's head, making his face deathly pale and his lips tremble. His condition is not healthy, making everything worse. When struck by panic, Roman's lungs shrieked, making him unable to resist coughing violently uncontrollably.

Roman's body staggered and automatically because of his habit of serving his uncle, Aaron immediately moved to support Roman's body so as not to fall.

Xavier's eyebrows shot up when he saw the scene in front of him. A thin smile rang on his lips, implying blatant ridicule.

“What a heart-touching sight of an old father and devoted son.” Xavier chuckled, as if amused by his own words.

Roman glared at Xavier as if he was facing a madman. Yes, of course he is not wrong, Xavier Light has indeed gone mad!

Benak Roman was full of questions mixed with silent curses.

Why is Xavier Light here? Does that mean that stupid son of a criminal has failed to carry out his duties?

“I know you keep a lot of questions in your mind. Fortunately, I am kind enough to give you an answer, so that you do not die in vain.” Xavier tilted his body from the doorway, then turned his head back and extended his hand again. “Come, dear.” Whisper with a deliberate friendly tone.

The figure that appeared later after welcoming Xavier's hand made Roman flabbergasted. His mouth was gaping, while his wrinkled and sagging face turned crimson.

“How can you be here? What are you doing, huh?” Unknowingly, out of habit, Roman immediately rebuked loudly with a thunderous voice towards Sera, which instantly made him cough.

It did not discourage Roman's intention to intimidate Sera. He was trying to neutralize his breath that was gasping furiously and chime in with an itchy cough that plagues his throat. After his cough subsided, Roman's eyes turned toward Sera who looked increasingly pale in fear, looking down with his hands held by Xavier.

“Don't raise your tone of voice to my woman.” Xavier narrowed his eyes full of threats, staring dangerously at Roman and Aaron alternately.

Xavier's sharp eyes instantly learned Sera's reaction quickly. He knew immediately that the woman immediately lowered her head and shriveled in the first second Roman rebuked her, while Sera's fingers inside Xavier's grasp instantly turned frozen, covered in an uncontrollable cold sweat.

A single accurate conclusion immediately came to Xavier's mind as he studied Sera's reaction. The old bastard had apparently educated Sera with a clap and a rude attitude, as well as cruelty committed deliberately to dwarf Sera mentally.

Therefore, Sera's reaction when dealing with Roman Dawn is immediately predictable:

The woman turned inferior, bowed in fear and hid.

Xavier's lips thinned. He won't let Sera be treated like that by Roman Dawn. The woman must learn to look up with pride if she does nothing wrong.

Xavier's hand moved to grab Sera's chin which was still bowing her head, she then turned the woman's face, making Sera unwillingly have to lift her head.

“Women belonging to Xavier Light must be tough and she need not fear anything because there is me to support her.” Xavier whispered softly which he deliberately aimed at awakening Sera's shrunken courage. “Didn't you want to see the face of the person who has been torturing and hurting you all this time, before I kill him?”

Xavier's words towards Sera were of course caught by Aaron's sharp ears. The second time Xavier called Sera his woman, Aaron could no longer hold his mouth to ask.

“Your budget?” aaron's voice was blocked, but still clear enough to be heard. “Is.... do you mean, Sera is your woman?” Aron asked in a tone filled with disbelief.

In response, instead of making a sound, Xavier lowered his head towards Sera who was still gripped by her chin and raised by her face, then Xavier's lips combined with Sera's lips, tasting her softly and seductively, in order to provoke the unfortunate creatures who were forced to watch the intimacy on purpose.

Xavier's hand moved around Sera's waist and held the woman to him. Sera's protest groans were still heard as the woman's hands landed on her chest, trying to push Xavier's body away.

The rejection of course did not disturb Xavier's self-esteem, even making him curious and increasingly want to seduce and conquer the woman in front of him.

The kiss lasted quite a long time and was quite charming for anyone who saw it. Intentionally, Xavier just let go of his kiss after Sera gasped for breath and increasingly panicked pushing her body.

Their fused lips were then released, but Xavier's hands did not release Sera, still holding the woman strong with an embrace on her waist.

Xavier rubbed his real lips with a kiss, then raised an eyebrow towards the two humans in front of him who were both gaping in shock.

“So? Do you still need answers?” he said slowly, again implying a thick mocking tone.

Aaron was still stunned as if he was out of words after being forced to watch the friendly scene in front of him. Meanwhile, Roman Dawn who first realized. The hue of his face had turned crimson, while his nose was blooming as a result of his lungs being ignited by emotions so crazy and pumping air blindly in his chest cavity.

“Stupid traitor!”Seeing the kiss scene that Xavier showed and the fact that Sera was unable to fight the man's strength, Roman rose blood and forgot who he was dealing with. What was on his mind was anger towards Sera, as the foolish woman was not only caught in disguise, but delivered Xavier straight to their shelter.

Roman's body slid forward, about to attack Sera, but Aaron held her back, trying to remind his uncle not to be emotional.

“Uncle…. We have to keep our distance from Xavier! Who knows what terrible poison was in his hands?” Roman whispered loudly, trying to keep his uncle's emotions from pushing his logic down.

Luckily Roman Dawn still wants to listen to Aaron. The man's steps that were ready to bouncy and target Sera because he wanted to make the woman vent his anger blows as usual in the past, immediately slowed down before stopping for a while.

Roman Dawn was confused, not knowing what else to do when his anger receded and changed with fear.

Only then did Roman realize that the enemy they were facing was dangerous. A little misstep, Roman's life could be uprooted without him doing anything to prevent it.

Unfortunately, instead of being pleased that Roman Dawn had refrained from attacking Sera, Xavier seemed disappointed. The man pursed the corners of his lips in a discontented arch, as if he actually wanted Roman to fight back, then the poisonous psychopath would be happy to beat him up and enjoy Roman's defeat in debauchery.

However, it was not Xavier's name that he could not overcome his disappointment so quickly. The man's lips instantly reviewed the smile back almost in an inhumane way.

“Who said you should approach me to taste my poison?” Xavier watched the two creatures in front of him closely. “I didn't find your wife, Roman. Was he lucky to be outside and accidentally save his own life?”

Roman gritted his teeth, making his molars harden when he finally let out an angry growl mixed with fear.“Samantha had nothing to do with this. No matter how you torture and interrogate me, I will not open my mouth,” the challenge is trying to dare even though his guts shrivel also imagine the torture that Xavier might give him.

“Do not worry. I won't waste my time and energy interrogating let alone torturing you. Samantha Dawn will not be able to escape from my hands, perhaps this departure is a little out of plan and managed to delay her death. But I'll make sure he dies soon. While you..," Xavier narrowed his eyes, seemingly weighing. Then, his eyes lit up the story as the man spoke. "You'll kill me instantly,”break Xavier in a calm tone.

Roman tergaga. Fear wins the fight against his pride, takes control of his body and makes him tremble uncontrollably, forcing Aaron to support his hysterical body again, to prevent him from falling.

“What a foolish woman says is not necessarily true! He could have tried to save himself by slandering me! I... I am just a victim!” Roman tried to be convincing, but the trembling in his voice showed his cowardice. His eyes silently glanced at Xavier and fear instantly struck him when he realized that there was no intention of Xavier turning around and letting go.

Roman's self-esteem instantly collapses, leaving him willing to throw shame and beg Xavier for mercy in favor of remaining desperate to save lives.

“You're a smart man! You shouldn't believe the stupid woman's words! I couldn't have dared to stab or attack you from behind. Everyone knew that a Xavier Light was extremely ruthless and had no mercy. I'm not that stupid as trying to attack or pit against you! It was all a slander from that stupid woman! You should have killed him! Not me! I have nothing to do with this!” As soon as he left his mouth open to spout words of self-defense, Roman could barely stop gibbering.

Roman's eyes then peeked back at Xavier, and the more he panicked when he saw the disgusted expression on Xavier's face, clearly indicating that any negotiations Roman had made to persuade Xavier to abandon his intentions, were clear, it must have been a dead end.

"You.. You're not really gonna kill me, are you?" Roman again asked in a suffocating voice, this time trembling as if he had already taken control of his entire body cell, making his heart almost explode from terror. Despite that, Roman still had time to glance towards Xavier's hand and felt a speck of relief as Xavier did not hold anything in his hand. The man is said to be carrying poison in the form of drugs, liquids, or syringes, if Xavier holds nothing, then there is no weapon that can be used to kill Roman.

Unfortunately, again, Roman's relief only lasted for a while before being forced into the air and vanished. Xavier looked at Roman with a contemptuous look, before then throwing his surprise bomb.

"Don't you smell this sweet scent?" Xavier sniffed happily, making everyone realize that in the room was inhaled faint fragrant fragrant flowers and making the sense of smell feast. "I gave Moon Flower a special scent to my poisonous gas. Don't you know the flower? It's a beautiful flower." Xavier glanced at Sera with his sweet smile. "After sunset, Moon Flower petals will begin to bloom and emit a fragrant aroma throughout the night under the moonlight as if adoring it. And when the sun rises, this flower will close back its pure white petals, as if showing its loyalty to the moon. I tucked the scent of this flower into the poisonous gas I made, as an orchestra honoring your release, Serafina Moon."

"G-gas poisonous?" roman's voice was suffocating as he managed to digest what Xavier had said. His eyes bought in disbelief.

Xavier grinned. "Don't you realize that you've been breathing my masterpiece of death since? I spread it all over your house without exception. You should be happy because your house full of the smell of decay now smells nice. You are old and your body is weakened, the effect will be faster on your body, while your young and healthy nephew, he said, well the damage effect of his nerve cells will be slower even though in the end you'll all be equally dead."

Roman immediately glared at Aaron who was still glued staring at Sera as if he was in another world. Roman's forehead was furrowed by the wrath, and with his old energy remaining, he elbowed Aaron's stomach to resuscitate him. "Stupid! Get me a cloth to cover my nose!" Roman coughed back. Now, after he realized that no matter when he had inhaled the poison unconsciously, his body felt agonized. His entire nerve cell shimmered with pain, sending broken signals to his brain and his entire body.

At that moment, Roman knew it was too late.

"Uncle!" Aaron loses his balance as Roman's fat and slow body focuses all of his balance on his body. In the end, Aaron's support to Roman's body is unleashed, making the helpless Roman fall to the floor while Aaron follows frantically, kneeling next to his dead uncle.

The poisonous gas actually created a terrible effect on Roman's body. His eyes bulged as his breathing was like being mercilessly shot away. A terrible suffocating sound was heard as Roman struggled with all his might to keep his life entrenched in his body. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain, the poison directly damaged all of his nerve cells in a relay and in a row and no one could stop it.

Roman's body fluttered while his windpipe growled a terrible sound like a slaughtered animal. Then death came to crawl Roman slowly. Like aisle lights that are turned off one by one, patiently closed take turns from the legs, before then propagating upwards, until finally ripping his heartbeat to extinguish.

Roman stretched his body in agony on Aaron's lap, unable to utter any final message, his head looking up until his neck stretched the entire surface of his skin to its fullest extent. Then, with eyes glaring and mouth gaping from enduring the intense pain, Roman breathed his last in vain as his life was finally completely uprooted.

Everyone in the room froze. Aaron looked in great shock, while Sera was glued next to Xavier, her eyes recording the entire process of death and inexplicably, she said, there was a hint of satisfaction filling his soul seeing the evil old man finally meet with the Death, in a very painful manner.

Xavier seemed to be able to understand what was on Sera's mind. Satisfaction. Yes, the satisfaction that relieved when staring at the person who hurt so cruelly, finally avenged with no less cruel.

"You happy?"

Xavier really doesn't need an answer. The feeling that was implied in Sera's eyes as she stared at Roman's dead body stiffened in a pitiful manner was exactly the same as what Xavier felt when he killed his captors in the past. Xavier's eyes watched Sera, the woman did not answer, but when she realized that Xavier was watching her, Sera immediately put on a flat expression, trying to be unreadable.

But, somehow Xavier felt that something was disturbing. He saw a look of anxiety flashing in Sera's eyes, making him turn his head to follow Sera's gaze. The woman was staring at Roman Dawn's niece who looked shocked and confused to the point of being speechless while holding her uncle.

With a look of disdain, Xavier let out a long sigh. Perhaps Sera's conscience was knocked to see the man who was not directly related to his revenge must be a victim of the poisonous gas. Roman Dawn's niece was in the wrong place at the wrong time, bearing the wrong name. After all, Xavier decided that everyone who had the name Dawn behind him would be killed to ensure that no hereditary grudges would emerge later on.

So, even if it seemed as if it was not directly related, the young man still had to die.

"If you're done pleasing your eyes to the death of Roman Dawn, let's go." Xavier extended his hand back to Sera, for some reason, there was a tickling dislike in his mind when he saw Sera staring at the insignificant man.

But, unexpectedly, Sera did not welcome Xavier's hand. The woman looked pale, probably due to the turmoil of her feelings, then shook her head.

"Please, give me a personal chance to enjoy this freedom alone." Sera spoke weakly in supplication, her lips appearing trembling.

For a moment, Xavier wanted to refuse. But then, a ray of desperate plea from Sera's eyes touched her heart. Maybe this is really an emotional time for Sera, so she needs to absorb everything more slowly.

"I'll wait in the lobby. Three minutes. Then follow me. Remember, we still have to go to Samantha Dawn, my men have tracked her position." Xavier glanced back at the corpse of Roman Dawan who was in the lap of his nephew, then clucked as if fed up and stepped away, giving Sera time of her own as she promised.

Didn't wait long for Sera to move while she could. He already felt the pain permeate his body and he knew only a short amount of time was left for him to save Aaron.

Sera dragged her steps closer towards Aaron, making the young man look up and look at Sera with a sad look.

"I don't think we're going to split up like this. I'm going to die in a moment" Aaron suddenly chuckled. "You chose to be Xavier's woman, eh?" ask her then with a raucous voice.

Sera ignored the question, crouched down next to Aaron, grabbed the man's hand and clasped the white capsule she had been hiding in Aaron's hand.

"Slow down. This is the antidote" Sera said with great difficulty.

Aron turned his back, looking at Sera and the capsule in his hand alternated with a confused attitude.

"Slow down! This antidote can still save you. Xavier says that this toxic gas is a little slower to deleterious effects on young, healthy people!" Sera's tone of voice was so urgent, that Aaron could no longer think and followed the woman's orders to swallow the capsule.

Sera smiled to see Aaron had swallowed the antidote. With great difficulty, Sera stood back up, tugging at Aaron's half-dazed clothes, forcing him to stand with her.

"Run! Run Aaron! Hurry along! Get out of here!"

Sera frantically exclaimed, pointing at the wide open window on the wall of the Roman Dawn study room that escaped the scrutiny.

It didn't take long for Xavier to wait in the lobby of the house which was now filled with this refreshingly fragrant scent that turned out to be deadly, as Xavier had only been waiting for a moment, he could already hear Sera's footsteps behind him.

The woman was already content to enjoy her first freedom. One more thing, Samantha Dawn must be eliminated....

Xavier turned to put a smile on his face towards Sera, about to give a sweet invitation for the woman to pick up her total freedom that was waiting.

But Xavier's smile instantly froze on his lips when he saw Sera's deathly pale condition, stumbling across the passageway while holding onto the wall as a pedestal of his steps.

A bad premonition and a terrible conclusion instantly struck Xavier fiercely, making his body scatter as fast as lightning towards Sera.

Both of Xavier's hands clutched Sera's bare shoulders, facing the woman towards him and half shaking the woman in frustration.

"You! Stupid woman! You didn't drink the antidote, did you?" Xavier shouted, his eyes looking anxiously as he found a pulse of pain that began to whack and radiate from all over Sera.

Sera felt her eyes twitch and her mind began to give up in the darkness. Despite that, Sera was still able to recognize Xavier and bestow a triumphant smile on her lips.

"This time you can't get what you want.... Mr. Light...." Sera's voice faded along with her consciousness being wiped out. A second later, Sera's body was instantly hollowed out in Xavier's grip.

"Sera? Sera?" Xavier shouted, shaking Sera's body to no avail. All the fear, anger and turbulent feelings for something that was out of his control made Xavier's head seem to be about to explode. He tried to control himself and keep his mind clear.

Nah! Sera can't die that easily! The woman is a way of redemption for Xavier to gain freedom from his past sins! Xavier won't let Sera die!
