EOTL eps 63: Retaliation

So strong was Xavier's embrace that Sera's body was half lifted off the floor where she was tracking. The man completely submerged Sera's body in the embrace of her arms, stressing all her strength into her firm embrace as if wanting to crush Sera's entire bones and fuse Sera's tiny body into one with her.

"Hey." Sera frowned as Xavier's embrace felt increasingly stronger pressing down on her body, making her almost as breathless. Sera's hand behind Xavier's back struggled to move and pat the man on the back, trying to ignite Xavier's logical mind so as not to hug him too tightly. "Xavier. please, I'm having a hard time breathing."

Sera's half-strangled voice apparently managed to penetrate into Xavier's consciousness and make the man lift his face which was originally lowered and sank on Sera's shoulder.

"Ah, I'm sorry." Xavier loosened his embrace and used both hands to gently grip the woman's shoulder, then pushed her slightly away. "You okay?" Xavier's eyes did not glance towards Sera's eyes, instead stealing a glance towards her stomach.

It made Sera frown. This guy is really weird. Is it okay for Xavier to worry about her content being depressed by her body if Sera is pregnant? The certainty of Sera's pregnancy from her last blood test was clearly not out and Sera's stomach was even flat as before. How can a close hug injure a fetus that is still so small and hidden safely deep in the womb?

Sera watched Xavier's pale face and the woman suddenly realized that there was a frown between Xavier's eyebrows. The man seemed to be enduring the pain.... Holy hooch! Xavier should have thought of himself because the impact of the big hug seemed more pronounced to Xavier himself.

Did that too tight hug hurt the scarring behind her breast bandage?

"You okay?" Instead of answering Xavier's question, this time instead replace Sera who asked. His hand moved gently to let Xavier back down. "How's the wound on your chest? W-do you better sit on the couch first?" tanyanya's worried.

"No, no." Xavier insists. The man held Sera back into his arms, but this embrace was not as tight as before, only trapping Sera but not half crushing her. "Let me hold you for a moment. Shut up."

Xavier's voice rattled and demanded, so that there was nothing Sera could do but obey him. He was fixated there, letting the man embrace him in a quiet that felt awkward to him.

A long time later, Xavier let go of the hug. He seemed to have been able to control himself, Xavier's eyes had already regained their shade and control, while a tinge of blood flow hue had already appeared on his pale face.

Then suddenly Xavier moved his hand and cupped it to both sides of Sera's cheek, his movement softly as he looked up at her.

"If you're really pregnant, they say you're most likely pregnant with twins" she whispered in a voice of amazement.

Sera's cheeks immediately turned red upon Xavier's words, let alone the man currently looking at him so sharply, as if wanting to sneak into Sera's heart. Sera tried to turn her face away, but her head was held back by Xavier so she couldn't do it.

"That's it. The pregnancy is still uncertain. Isn't the result out yet?" stir Sera with a clumsy voice.

Xavier suddenly bent his body, brought his face closer to Sera's face and fused the tip of his nose with Sera's nose, rubbing it gently. His actions were very intimate, as if the man was driven by a spontaneous intention he could not resist.

"The result is almost certain. The last blood test was only to reassure Dr. Nathan. You must be pregnant, you're pregnant, the child is growing here." Xavier could not hide the astonishment in his voice. The man lowered his head, then his hand moved without permission rubbing Sera's stomach, making Sera gasp in surprise.

"Sorry." Xavier grinned, the man suddenly just stepped back and his hand moved rubbing his hair as if nervous."This is very surprising to me. Youknew.... For me who is a kara in this world, there is no one who has blood relations with me. The knowledge that there will be a child, a child who is now growing and will be born with the flow of my blood, a child who is my offspring.it shakes me a little."

"Did it shake you in a good sense... Or bad?" Sera replied, asking carefully.

Xavier rubbed his face. "You still feel the need to ask?" The man grinned with irony. "Of course I'm happy. You know, there's finally going to be another human being in the world who shares my genetics, how could I not be happy?"

Sera watches Xavier's expression and inexplicably finds out that Xavier isn't lying or trying to manipulate him. This time the man actually took down the fake mask that always surrounded his expression. All the mixed emotions in his chest - shock, amazement, happiness, anxiety - were all displayed by Xavier on his face vividly and openly.

The news of her pregnancy certainly made Sera as surprised as Xavier. However, the initial thought that made her sure that she would definitely be pregnant with Xavier's child, either now or later, made her more receptive to the news of her pregnancy easily. Of course Sera could also understand what Xavier felt, the man was like a lush tree that stood alone in the middle of a barren desert, too long surrounded by loneliness to not expect anything more. The presence of the little green buds next to him, of course, instantly turned his world upside down, breaking down all the emotional walls he had built to melt away with no waste.

However, Xavier's enthusiastic attitude about his son is not willing to foster a sense of caution in Sera's mind. Sera gulps. "I think we should have connected our conversation earlier, especially now when I'm most likely pregnant." Sera's eyes scanned Xavier's face, trying to make sense of his mood. "I want to know what your plans are for our children, you.... You're not thinking about changing your decision to give me freedom, are you?"

Xavier's eyes narrowed, staring at Sera with a probing look. "What kind of freedom do you want, Sera? If you want freedom from me, then I will keep the janii to give it to you. As soon as you give birth to my son, I'll divorce you."

Sera was stunned for a moment to hear the sentence spoken straightforwardly and without hesitation . It was as if Xavier was already impatient to throw it away and just wanted his child.

"Then, what about the kids...we?" Sera's voice was blocked, but she tried hard to gain clarity from Xavier. "Are you going to take them from me?"

Xavier frowned deeply. "Where did you get that idea in your mind? I will not separate a child from his birth mother. Sera, I will reward you with the divorce and freedom you want, but with regard to our son later, I cannot give you complete freedom. The boy was born in a legitimate marriage, he'll bear my name behind his name and he'll also inherit my genetics in his bloodstream." Xavier looked at Sera earnestly. Both of them turned to the door and faced a nurse who seemed to be sent specifically to convey a notice to them.

"U.S.G space is ready. Come on, please follow me."

"What we would expect as a pregnancy pouch is already here." Amera's doctor moved his cursor around in a round white color that seemed to contrast with the darkness on the screen. "But, it looks like we'll have to wait until eight weeks to be sure." Doctor Amera looked at the couple in front of him alternately before then saying the offer with a cautious tone of voice. "Or if you want to see more details, we can do the USG inside."

"USG's inside?" Sera frowned, then turned her head towards Xavier curiously. "What is that like?" tanyanya.

Sera is currently lying on the examination bed, the clothes covering her stomach are lifted open and the doctor has applied a cold gel there before putting the ultrasound device on her stomach. Xavier himself was standing next to Sera, on the side near the woman's head, while his eyes stared fixedly at the large display of the screen displaying imagery from the USG scan visualized there.

"The "USG in this is often referred to as the Transvaginal USG where we will use a special tool to check the entry into. If the ultrasound examination is done, this tool will go all the way to the uterus so that the visible picture of the image scan will be visualized more clearly." Doctor Amera explained in a combed tone, not wanting to make the couple in front of him so awkward.

Sera's eyes widened as she was able to digest the woman's doctor's explanation, her lips agape, half in disbelief.

"Snake into the womb? J-so.. get into...." Sera's voice stuck in her throat, unable to express what was in her mind. The horrors mixed with disbelief plastered markedly on his facial expression. Then, his unruly mind immediately casts a shadow of the USG procedure in it visualized in his imaginary space. Sera's face instantly turned a crimson red, between the overwhelming embarrassment mixed with the immeasurable fear.

Unexpectedly, Xavier chose to take over and save Sera. The man grabbed Sera's hand and squeezed it gently, then made up his mind for the two of them in a firm tone.

"I don't think we need to do a deep ultrasound to confirm my wife's pregnancy, Doctor. The blood test results will come out in a few moments, so we choose to be patient for a moment and wait" he said calmly.

Doctor Amera blinked her eyes, unbearable, her eyes fixed with admiration for Xavier's good looks and her drifting calm. It is fortunate that this pregnant woman in front of her can have a husband who is not only perfect in physical appearance, but also seems to have a charming adult personality.

These two people in front of him were important clients that Doctor Nathan had recommended to him, he did not know for sure but as far as it was, Xavier Light was the elder brother of Akram Night, the owner of this hospital. "Yes. If you want it then you will get the print of his USG image, Sir," he replied with a smile. Once again he looked at the couple in front of him alternately and immediately concluded in his heart that the husband was apparently more enthusiastic about this pregnancy when compared to the wife

"Serafina Moon seems to have conceived Xavier Light's child."

"Where did you know that?" Aaron hissed his question sentence with emphasis on every word he said, holding back his turbulent emotions.

"It could be said that I have a spy who watches secretly wherever Xavier Light is." Dimitri chuckled across there, as if oblivious to Aaron's voice turning into a growl. "So, what steps are you going to take? I told you, didn't I? Serafina Moon is trying to conceive and have a child in order to save Xavier Light's life. Now she has succeeded and she will give the stem cells from her baby's placenta for a spinal cord transplant to save her husband. I thought, if you really want to take revenge on the two of them, then now is the time."

"You want me to act now? By attacking Serafina Moon?" Aaron frowned, trying to be sure.

"Wouldn't one pat, two flies would die?" Dimitri asked half. "If you hurt Serafina and especially make sure that the baby isn't born into this world, it's the same as you obliterating Xavier Light's chance of getting stem cells from that placenta, isn't it?"

Aaron was pensive, he of course knew the truth of the sentence spoken by Dimitri, but he decided to be calm and not get carried away.

"My strength is not big enough, I have to take it into account first" he replied later before disconnecting the phone.

Afterwards, Aaron threw his phone at the table and slammed his body into the large chair located behind his desk. The man bent his body forward, focused his elbow on the table and covered his face with a palm.

Sera was pregnant with the man. Sera is pregnant with Xavier Light's child. He already knew that Sera was a cheap and cheap woman who could easily betray him shamelessly, but he did not expect that Sera would have the heart to betray him so badly.

During this time Aaron tried to deny by cultivating immeasurable hatred and disgust for Sera.
