EOTL Eps 75: Aaron Feeling
Xavier's question did sound light and ordinary. But his intention was very clear, Xavier wanted to make Sera aware, that no matter how well he treated Sera at this time, Xavier was still a vile killer who would be cruel especially when he was challenged. That holds true without exception, even when it comes to Aaron though.
Sera took a long breath. He did not raise his head to look at Xavier. His face was still immersed in the man's chest, while his mind was busy working to cultivate the exact words he could say to Xavier.
“I understand that you killed to protect me. At that moment, the choice was the life of our son, or the life of that assassin woman,” whispered slowly, voicing his thoughts in a raucous choked voice.
Xavier's hug on Sera's body tightened. The man then used his fingers to touch and raised Sera's head to face him, his eyes dark and full of abomination when he spoke.
“I hope you also understand correctly those words you said yourself. For me right now, the choice is your life and your baby compared to your Aaron's. You already know which one I'm going to choose, don't you?”
Xavier lowered his head, then his lips moved fused with Sera's lips, devouring them in the form of a possessive kiss that was so savage as if wanting to taste Sera's entire self without rejection.
When the man finally finished enjoying Sera's lips and showed how possessive she was, the release of Sera's lips that were linked to her, rubbed her moist lips so hot on the surface of Sera's lips, before then he whispered slowly in a raucous voice mixed with stifled desire.
“Sleep, little bunny. Bring my questions to your dreams. When I demand you to choose between your Aaron and me, who will you choose later?”

Somehow Sera this time turned into a submissive. Perhaps it was because the woman was indeed exhausted, probably also because the incident had drained her energy so that there was no one left to argue with Xavier.
It didn't take long for Sera's body to slip into her arms, she curled up and leaned on him, sinking into a deep deep slumber until when Xavier moved his body slowly to release Sera from her embrace, Sera remained unconscious from her slumber.
Xavier stood at the edge of the bed. The man lowered his eyes and looked towards Sera who was asleep on her side curled up soundly. His hand then moved to raise back the messy Sera blanket on his waist to close the woman's body back up tightly.
Afterwards, Xavier turned around, then stepped away leaving Sera resting inside there.
As he exited, his eyes immediately fell on the doctor Nathan who had been waiting for a long time while sitting on the sofa that had been available on the wall of the hallway in front of the door of the treatment room.
Doctor Nathan seemed impatiently waiting, when he saw Xavier, the man immediately stood up from his seat and asked.
“So, what's your plan? Are you really going to make a big prize race to kill Aaron?” Doctor Nathan watched Xavier close the door behind him. His tone sounded low even though he knew that the treatment room room was tightly closed so that the sound from outside would not be able to go inside and disturb the patient's rest.
“Credence has as much affinity with the underworld as I do, and he offers help to represent me. Credence has now used his connections to make an announcement to all willing and able hitmen, to chase Aaron and kill him by any means possible, with a fee twice that offered by Aaron to harm Sera's baby. The sooner they manage to kill Aaron, the higher the pay. Aaron will feel how the assassins are chasing him and won't let go until he's dead.” Xavier replied in a cold tone.
“Do you think this is a wise decision?” Back Doctor Nathan glanced towards the door of Sera's tightly closed treatment room. “It will ruin your relationship with Sera who has been well-established.”
Xavier breathed a hard sigh. “My relationship with Sera never went well before. We were both walking in the middle of a frozen lake with a thin layer of ice under our feet. There will come a time when the ice sheet breaks and drops us both sinking into the lake. If that's what's going to happen, wouldn't it be better if I just broke that thin layer of ice all of you? At least if we were both wretched at the beginning, we would have more chances to save ourselves.”
“I can't argue if you think like that. But one thing you have to remember, if Aaron dies, and he dies because of a big prize race from you, Sera will never forgive you,”.
Xavier shook his head thinly, the man as if disapproving of the warning Nathan had thrown at him.
“If until I do nothing, then Sera and the child in her womb to woe, then I am the one who can not forgive myself more,” he said in an indisputable tone. Xavier then did not wait for Nathan's next sentence, he glanced towards the hospital hallway, then raised an eyebrow and gazed back towards Nathan. “Akram hasn't arrived here yet? Usually when it comes to Elana, she rushes to come.”
Nathan shrugged his shoulders. “Akram was out of town this afternoon when you contacted him about this incident. He went straight home by helicopter, but still, the long distance traveled kept him stuck for some time.”
As if it was a coincidence of the time, in the second that Nathan's doctor closed his mouth after he finished speaking, a galloping sound immediately sounded from the end of the hall, followed by the appearance of Akram who walked so fast approaching them. Elios who stepped half-running followed Akram's quick steps while fixing the location of his glasses that sagged several times.
Elios seemed as anxious as Akram. Akram himself still wore a full suit, his tall body stiffened from anxiety, while his normally neatly combed hair seemed disheveled even though Akram seemed to care less about it.
Akram's face even implied an unusual pale feel as he stepped straight as if storming, heading towards Xavier and Nathan who were standing in front of Sera's treatment room door.
“Where is Elana?” Akram asked in a half-spirited urgent tone.
Xavier pointed to the closed door next to the door of Sera's treatment room and without saying any more, Akram rushed straight there, opening the door then slamming it back shut with a loud voice echoing in the hallways of this hospital.
The three men who were left standing in the hall were stunned staring towards the closed door. It was Xavier who started the conversation later, slightly grinning as if amused.
“I didn't know that Akram could panic like that,” he later said.
Elios shrugged his shoulders. “You do not know how Mr. Akram when traveling earlier, everyone was exposed to his snaps because it was considered less fast,” said Elios as if asking for permacluman. “Well, even in ordinary conditions, Mrs Elana is Mr. Akram's top priority. Especially now when Mrs Elana's condition is pregnant,” he continued later.
Xavier nodded his head. “I understand.” Xavier did not say that he felt the same way about Serafina Moon. He keeps that feeling to himself, no one else needs to know. “So I already explained on the phone that Elana is fine to Akram. But apparently Akram did not want to believe it before he saw with his own eyes.”
Elios nodded his head, half-smiling at Xavier's words. However, as the bespectacled man moved to take out the thin, card-shaped black object in his hand, his gentle expression turned serious.
“You request access and the power to free prisoners from the special prison room owned by Mr. Akram. I'm asked to prepare his access card and hand it to you.” Elios gave the black card to Xavier who received it. “Is this as I expected, that you will release him?”
Xavier thinned his lips and smiled then nodded his head.
“I'll be coming with Nathan there, however, I need Nathan to help me inject venom into Sabina and also inject an explosive microchip as well as a controller in Sabina's brain stem. The controlling microchip technology developed by Akram's weapons technology research center will put the original brain to sleep and replace the robot brain embedded like a parasite in its brain stem. The robot's brain system will control Sabina's body, making it like a soulless shell and only move according to my command.” Xavier's eyes shone cunningly. “Sabina is the most appropriate weapon for piercing the heart of Aaron's defense. However, Sabina once helped and saved Aaron. Although their interaction was brief, but I was sure that a weak-hearted man like Aaron was the kind of thank-you man that became one of his weak points. So, I'm going to send Sabina's body with the brain I've been controlling, to finish Aaron off quickly.”
Doctor Nathan frowned, as if to disagree. “The brain-controlling microchip technology developed by Akram as a weapon of war has been eliminated because it is considered not to prioritize humanity and human rights in the process of its application. The development of the technology was terminated before it approached perfection. Even the prototype you're about to implant into Sabina's brain is a semi-finished prototype. Aren't you worried about the side effects? That thing could damage Sabina's brain and could not be restored as before. Most likely, after the microchip was revoked, most of Sabina's brain function would die and cause her to experience disability.”
“Does your conscience as a doctor make you incapable of helping me implant that microchip?” Xavier raised his eyebrows in a mocking manner. “For information, to help you suppress your guilt-ridden conscience, Sabina is a very ruthless hitman, so many men had fallen into his hands and killed countless more. Daniel shook his head.
“No, Mr. Aaron. The assassin's attempt to abort Serafina Moon's contents has indeed been thwarted by Xavier Light himself. Serafina Moon was not injured at all. There are reports that Xavier Light brought Serafina Moon himself out of the shopping mall that was intact with no injuries at all.”
Aaron closed his eyes as relief filled his soul. He might have gone mad for fighting Xavier Light blatantly and risking his own life. But, it was all because now he wanted to follow his own deepest heart.
During this time, Aaron grows up under the tutelage of Roman and the ruthless-minded Samantha Dawn, what's more, they instilled a grudge against him because of the death of Anastasia who was pregnant with their forbidden lover. Aaron has feelings for Serafina, but he always tries to kill her by continuing to instill a grudge into her soul. However, now that he had managed to clear his mind, he realized that the entire Dawn family inheritance he had, was, it would never make her feel real happiness if she did not have Serafina by her side.
It turned out that what Aaron wanted was something very simple, something he used to have easily, but was instead left loose and difficult to regain.
Aaron really regretted all the things he did in the past. He regretted having handed Sera into Xavier's hands. He felt that there was still a chance for himself and Serafina if he was willing to put in the effort. He must fight for Sera and release her from Xavier's clutches by all means.
“You said Xavier himself foiled the assassination attempt? Xavier shouldn't know anything until his time comes. Do you think that anyone betrayed us and leaked the assassination attempt to Xavier?” asked Aaron then after deep thought and studied everything.
Daniel nodded his head, the anxiety that overshadowed his face seemed to grow even more intense as he then spoke.
“I will try to scan the people in our inner circle and find a clue who betrayed.” Daniel's tone of voice turned to be cautious and anxious. “But, there is one more thing that we should pay attention to at this time,” he continued later in a doubtful tone.
Aaron raised an eyebrow. The man could guess correctly. “Did Xavier already move?” tanyanya sharp.
“Ya, Mr.” Daniel nodded slowly. “Xavier is not just moving with one action. He makes a counter race that offers double the price to all the assassins in the underground world to chase and kill you using all kinds of means. S-I guess, this is a good time for you to go to the hideout and secure yourself.”
Aaron grinned, as if disapproving of Daniel.“'s wordsI'll go escape to the most unexpected place by Xavier,” he said then with a mysterious tone.
Daniel frowned. “Where are you going, sir? At this time, all paths can be sure to be dangerous for you. All current hitmen have started making plans and moves to chase you once the announcement of a prize race on behalf of your life is spread.”
Aaron doesn't seem to care. “I already knew that the situation would end like this so I had prepared a very perfect disguise. So perfect that Xavier would not realize that I would come to him and kill him with my own two hands.” Aaron's eyes narrowed with an uncovered killing intent. “And the second time I stab Xavier later, I will make sure that I will not fail to kill him.”
