Season 2: Episode 14

After waiting for a while, it was finally Peter's turn to perform. I watched Peter's performance from a television set available in the make-up room, he performed a song by Sam Smith under the title I'm Not The Only One. Pretty good, but it doesn't seem like Peter's best performance, I'm sure he's planning something for the challenge ahead.

He received positive comments despite getting a little criticism from masters Jhonson and Yohan, while Grece looked uninspired, unlike the first competition where Grece seemed enthusiastic about judging the participants. I laughed a little at Grece's behavior from behind the glass screen, "Jeez Grece, it was discovered that you already have no spirit to be a jury" I said in my heart

"Peter is holding back, I hope you don't let your guard down" chirped Manda who arrived - suddenly behind me, I immediately turned around and looked at Manda who was looking at me sharply.

"I hope you don't underestimate the other participants, sometimes the inconspicuous ones will be crashing in the back" I said with a smile, Manda sighed and then smiled cynically.

"Are you talking about yourself? you want to say that today you want to do something to snatch my rank one? is that a threat?" manda's cynical voice when saying that, I laughed a little and then looked back at the television screen where the show was filled by Aiko and Mr. West as the host.

"Manda, I don't care if I can win or not. But if I have to, then I will give up all my ability to win this competition. It's not for me, but I'm doing it for this village" my dream said

"For the village? whatchu mean?" manda asked in surprise, I looked at her with a smile.

"You'll know when the time comes, so please don't hold back and take all your abilities out. Let's compete with all the abilities we have" I replied, Manda was silent and soon Peter went back into the waiting room participants.

Peter tells Manda that if he is wanted by the accompanying team, Manda immediately walks to the connecting door between the waiting room and the stage. I looked back at the television screen and stared at Mr. West and Mr. Jhonson alternately, "I really think badly of you guys, sorry for looking at the negatives for no apparent reason" I murmured

"What's wrong?" ask Peter

"Nothing, I'm preparing to listen to what Manda will show in the challenge this time" I replied

"Eemm Lunar, I still don't know who's behind.." Peter said unfinished, I cut it.

"There's no need for you to look" I said, then I looked at Peter's astonished face.

"I don't care, let's make this competition even more exciting. I look forward to your best performance, don't let me win easily" I said again with a smile looking at him, Peter returned my smile and we stared at the television screen together.

"Don't regret challenging me" Peter said, and we laughed together.

Manda's turn to perform, he performed a song by Evanescence under the title Bring Me To Life. Again and again Manda forced herself to sing a song that I thought did not match the characteristics of her voice, I knew she was wanting to show off her breath processing ability but sometimes it would even backfire on herself.

As I suspected, Yohan and Grece criticized the selection of songs chosen by Manda. Unlike Mr. Jhonson who praised his daughter, no wonder, right? peter and I laughed again at the debate between Grece, Yohan and Mr. Jhonson at that time, Peter's retelling of nepotism was heard.

"Hey you know, the audience in front of the stage is increasing. I didn't expect we'd get that many spectators" Peter said, looking at Peter in the face.

Peter's words back then made me quite surprised, no matter how this competition had just started and it was unlikely that it would attract an audience that quickly. But if that were true, would that make Mr West and Mr Jhonson happy? was this also some interference from Mr Paul?

Not long ago Manda walked lethargicly close to us, Manda said that the escort team was looking for me. I immediately walked to the connecting door between the waiting room and the stage, but when I passed Manda he said...

I took my hand off Manda's cheek and then walked over to a man who was the organizer of the event, he asked me about the song I was going to perform. I replied I was going to sing a song by Celine Dion under the title Surrender, she was surprised then and looked at me for a moment in silence. I tilted my head in confusion as to why this person was silent, and then this man laughed.

"At last you're serious" said this man, I laughed at his chirping or maybe because I caught his laughing voice.

Immediately the man ran up to the team of songbirds, before long the man came back to me and said...

"We're going to play the song in its original basic tone, do you want to be taken down or raised?" I asked, I smiled and I answered

"As usual, play exactly the same as the original singer" I replied, the man pointing his thumb at me.

"Hopefully, I support you" said the man, then ran back to the team.

I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, my heart was beating very fast, my body was shaking and cold sweat started to come out from all over my body. "You can be Luna, you can perform at your best today" I muttered to relieve my nervousness.

Not long after Aiko and Mr. West said my name, I walked closer behind the curtain and it was not long before the curtain opened. The sound of applause that echoed in the room felt so thrilling to my heart, our audience might have doubled from the first time I performed here. From the stage I could see a surprised Grece looking at me, a happy smiling Yohan, and a clapping Mr. Jhonson.

Now the lights in the room went out, only the floodlights left that led to me. The sound of the audience and the applause instantly disappeared, this room suddenly became silent as if they were ready to hear and see my appearance. I smiled and I looked up at the sky, then not for long.

As soon as the music stopped and I finished my singing, the sound of applause and cheers from the audience echoed so much in this room. I smiled as I tried to adjust my breath panting, not long the lights in the building began to light up so that I could look at the audience and the jury.
