"Is it okay, Ma?" ask Mira to her mother.
The middle-aged woman looked at her daughter in annoyance.
"Mama will heal when you see you married" she said.
Mira snatches an annoyance. Every day he should be asked the same question, when to get married?
"Don't talk about it again, Ma" said Mira.
The father just smiled while shaking his head to hear the debate of his wife and daughter. The wife continues to nag every day because her daughter is not married, even though she is no longer young. Even the younger Mira has two children.
"You're gonna be a spinster, Mira. If you do not want to be near a man," the mother scolded.
"This is what makes me lazy to go home fast" muttered Mira.
Mira sat next to her father with lips to read the mantra. He was tired of hearing such unqualified questions. Until now he had not gotten someone who could remove the wound in his heart. For for him love only comes and goes and leaves the same wounds.
"Oh yes, sir. Papa said he wanted to introduce Mira to his son Papa's friend who was a servant of the country. Okay, Pa. Mama wants to have a TNI daughter-in-law!" yanti, Mira's mother.
"Silter." Mira rolled her eyes lazily.
"There was. Does Mira want to?" Marvel looked at her daughter.
Mira is the eldest of three children, she has one younger brother and one younger sister. Both of his siblings were married after finishing college. While he was 32 years old but has not found a heart patch.
Women aged 32 are certainly not young anymore but have entered a transitional age and mature. Mira also realized this. However, because the pain of being left while being affectionate until now makes him reluctant to accept another love. Not that no one approached her, it was just that the woman was like putting up a barrier between herself and the opposite sex.
"Don't be weird, Pa. I don't want to" Mira retorted while folding her hands together.
Said people married to the TNI must dare to take risks, especially because of distance. Because he will not stay at home even though he is married. Some who after marriage are forced to separate because of duty and work. Mira has friends who are married to the TNI, the cage is left at childbirth and comes home when her child is an adult. Mira will not be able to, just imagining it makes her shudder in horror.
"Oh, so refuse! When else is Mira?," Yanti scolded. Sometimes his blood pressure goes up because of nagging his son.
"I'm still young, I still want a career" Mira replied casually.
"32 years is not young, but old. It's expected, if the goods can not be used anymore," said Yanti while grumbling and staring at her son gales.
Mira giggled at her mother's words, where did her mother know the matter of expeditions?
"Look at it, Mir. How about you meet Commander Rick first?" marvel Suggestion.
"Can you refuse, Pa?" Mira sighs.
"Can't" Yanti said.
Marvel smiled again. Actually he was also worried about seeing his elderly daughter but had not found a life companion. Marvel is afraid, her son cannot fall in love and ends up numb due to feelings in the past.
"Yes, tonight. Meet him at Cafe Aming, Papa's been texting him" Marvel said. "He's a nice guy and he's mature, like he's a good fit for you, who's a chatty nag" Marvel said, chuckling at Mira's upset face.
"Yes" replied Mira cetus.
While Yanti smiled triumphantly. Actually he did not force his son to get married but he just pity to see Mira who is still stuck with events in the past.
Mira is almost married, even all the preparations are ripe. However, one day before the wedding her future husband impregnates Mira's own best friend. This succeeded in breaking Mira's heart. The man he loved, more or less six years, betrayed the trust they had agreed.
The trauma has brought a deep wound to Mira's heart, so she did not dare to open her heart to new people. Mira was afraid the same thing happened to her.
.
.
"Huh, here's what if it doesn't do any good," he grumbled as he got out of the car. "I'm not old just grown up" he said again.
Mira glared when she saw young people flocking with their partners to enter the cafe. Cafe Aming is famous in Pontianak and even has several branches in other cities. No wonder Sunday nights are full of young people.
"So, you don't know that love hurts, Dek, yet" Mira said, offending the young people who came in.
Some people look at it strangely. Inwardly asked, who was that indistinct nagging woman.
Mira went inside, her face bent in annoyance. Both of her parents were completely outrageous, she felt like Siti Nurbaya.
"Where's the guy?" mumbling Mira. "May he not come, so that I may go home. If asked, just say the person is missing," said the woman monologue herself.
Each table is filled with visitors, almost no table is empty. Only the corners seemed to have not been occupied by anyone else.
"Yes, he's not coming!" mira cheered happily.
"Mrs Mira," said someone.
Mira's speechless. The voice was unfamiliar and she was unfamiliar. The woman turned her head, looking a handsome man standing behind her while smiling knots.
"Who?" ask Mira to investigate. This guy is very young, probably young.
"I'm Rick, I was called by Om Marvel to see Mom" he explained.
Mira prancing in shock is true if the man introduced to her is a brondong.
"Oh."
Mira was boo-ria but her heart grumbled. Just look later he'll take his mother to war.
"I've ordered a table for us" said Rick, who saw Mira staring at him in full search.
"Yes" replied Mira Ketus.
"Come, ma'am," take Rick.
Again Mira snatched away upset, what she was that old until called mother by the man who walked in front of her.
Mira sat with her face down. He wanted to go home and scold his parents.
"What do you want to order, ma'am?" rick asked while opening the menu book.
"Am I that old until you have to call me by Mother's call?" ask Mira while protesting.
"Oh sorry so what should I call you? I'm used to calling older people by Mom's call" Rick explained, his lips curled into a smile.
"What age are you?" ask Mira to the point.
In her life she never imagined that she would be in a relationship with a young man. Mira likes a handsome and kind adult man like her ex. Why does something like that often hurt.
Seriate....
