CECHIDOTE......

I woke up very early. Being a single parent and taking on two roles at once is no easy feat. There are a lot of things that are starting to change. I have to get used to it without a husband.
"For Mama" said Naro yanga, who was in her school uniform.
"Dear, baby" I said as I stirred the fried rice in the frying pan.
"Naroo help, Ma?" bargain Naro.
"No need, honey, it's done" I said
I put fried rice on the dining table and did not forget to wrap provisions for my two children.
"Nara, let's have breakfast, son," I pushed Nara's wheelchair
Nara and Naro are back in school today. I'm grateful Nara isn't the kind of child. When he found out he couldn't walk as usual. Nara did not mind at all, she instead accepted her condition. He never complained even though I knew he wasn't that strong.
"Son, you'll be waiting at Dessy's. Mama day wants to find work. Mama's gonna pick him up there," I said fixing Nara's tie.
"Yes Ma" said the two of them.
Miss Dessy, Nara's homeroom teacher. It just so happened that he was living in a mess not far from school. He is single and has no dependents. His large family stared at Sanggau. So I can leave the kids to Miss Dessy, while I work.
"Come on," ask me
I pushed Nara's wheelchair. The taxi I had booked was waiting in front of the house.
I still have a little bit of savings to survive until I get a job back. I have to get a job today.
At Nara and Naro's school, I got off the car to get Nara down.
"Darling, you're the right school, yes" I said.
To be honest, I was a little traumatized by my two children's accident yesterday. But I believe they're okay. God will take care of both of them as long as I'm not around them.
"Yes Ma" Nara and Naro said.
"Naro, look after Brother Yaa. Mama tipped Brother Naro," I said while peeping my son's forehead with affection.
"Yes Mama" said Naro returning a kiss on my cheek.
I drove my two children up to the gate, this time I don't want to step back. I have to make sure they're both okay. That fear and trauma still haunts my mind.
After making sure Nara and Naro enter the school area. I got back in the cab. Today I will bring a cover letter to the company that Mas Bayu recommended. I've passed administration, this data will be used for re-validation.
I don't think I can live without Galvin. It would be hard to walk without my ex-husband. But I'm okay, too. As long as there is Nara and Naro, my world will be fine.
True said Divta, I'm just used to Mas Galvin not being able to live without him. I believe if I get used to it, it won't be heavy anymore.
I stared at the skyscraper in front of me. I took a long breath. This is the office where Mas Galvin works, but I have no other choice. I had to fight all the uncomfortable feelings.
"Ra," my footsteps stopped when someone called my name.
I looked towards the source of the voice. I saw Mas Galvin walking in a neat suit as usual. My ex-husband is a man who loves cleanliness.
"What's up, Mom?" I asked to frown at me.
No more vibrations in the chest like before. Is it that easy that the feeling of love towards Mas Galvin disappears? I do have a vengeful soul. Once I'm hurt, I won't apologize. My feelings will be lost on that person.
Galvin has not changed at all. I know he still loves me. It's just that he can't tell the difference between love and lust.
"I propose here" I replied without seeing Mas Galvin.
No one knew that I was Mas Galvin's ex-wife except for Mr. Deddy and Lucia. That's because they often come home to discuss work with Mas Galvin.
It looks like Mas Galvin is taking a long breath. I don't know what this guy thinks. But whatever he thinks is none of my business anymore.
"Mas, I'm first" I said, bowing respectfully.
I walked in. This office is very large, even this is the largest palm oil company in Kalimantan. In my heart I prayed that I might be accepted to work here. There are two lives to feed. Although only a high school graduate I have expertise in accounting.
"Good morning, Mom. Can I help you?" ask the receptionist.
"For Mbak. I'm Diandra Gautama, who was called yesterday for data validation" I explained.
"Mother Diandra yes" said the woman. "Wait a minute, ma'am," she continued.
I replied with a smile and a nod. I'm honestly a little nervous. Especially before I never worked. My experience was nothing but housewives.
"Mom, please enter the HRD room, ma'am. On the 4th floor" explained the receptionist.
"Thank you, Ma'am," I said.
I got into the elevator and took a deep breath.
"May be accepted," I murmured while cupping both hands in the chest.
I need a job, I need some income. My children must have a bright future even without a father.
"Good God, sorry sir." I pranced in shock when I saw a man standing next to me staring ahead.
The man didn't answer he just replies with a nod. Then I stared blankly back in front.
I half moved and moved away. Damn, why did this elevator last so long? While waiting for the elevator to open, I went back to daydreaming, thinking about my unfortunate fate. Married out of love instead separated because of a third person. It feels like laughing, but what an innocent laughs at his own stupidity.

Soon I'm barking at my phone. Who calls early in the morning like this?
I smiled when I saw whose name was on my phone screen. Yeah, she's Divta, every day Divta would call to ask me and the kids.
"Hallo Ta," I said.
"Are you in the office?" ask Divta across there.
"Yes, Ta. Here I am again heading to the HRD room" I replied.
"Yes, don't forget lunch. I'm still long on his service. Maybe next week we'll go home" Divta explained. But I didn't ask.
"Yes Ta. You too yes, take good care of yourself" I replied.
"Definitely," said Divta, sounding his rascality across there.
After talking to Divta, I turned off the connection. A few days ago Divta had an out-of-town service trip for a week. So he can't grab me and the kids.
Elevator door opens. I got out of the elevator leaving the man. He didn't come out, maybe his room was upstairs. If I look, he's not a random person.
Seriate....
