Love Is Hurt (Wedding Polygamy)
Season 05's. Tata Story 24's.
"Metal."
The music stops when Lala falls onto the stage. Me and Mas Gevan rushed towards the stage as well as the other teachers. My heart was pounding in fear of something happening to my daughter.
"Metal." I picked up Lala who turned out to be unconscious on stage.
"Good blood!" pekik Bu Ani as Lala's class teacher.
"Ta, let's get Lala to the hospital!" bring Mas Gevan.
Mas Gevan took Lala from my arms. We half ran to the car. Unknowingly my tears are dripping. Lord I'm afraid, why is Lala nosebleed? He's never been like this before.
"Just use Mas's car" said Mas Gevan.
I can no longer refuse. The most important thing right now is Lala. I don't want anything to happen to that child just the way I got that hard-earned.
I sat beside the steering wheel while holding Lala's small body. Tears really cannot be brought together. He just soaked this cheek.
"Darling, please don't make Mama panic and fear like this." I hugged Lala's body into my arms.
Lala is the most precious treasure I have. I wouldn't know what life would be like without him. She's the little girl who made me strong to live this bitter life. If there's no Lala how can I live?
"Lala must be fine, Ta. She's a strong girl" said Mas Gevan, calming me down.
How can I be calm if my son is closed like this. Moreover, blood flowed from his nose. I'm scared, I'm really scared. I lost a mother since childhood. I haven't felt that affection since I was a child. Mama Ara can be everything. But there is still a difference between a biological mother and a connecting mother.
Therefore, I want to make sure that Lala feels the touch and affection of a mother. I don't want him to get hurt. I don't want him to be sad. He's the heart of my heart. He's a pulse that makes me feel like I have half a life.
At the hospital, Mas Gevan and I went down and half ran to the ER room.
"Dok, help my son. Save him" I asked. I'm really begging you, this time don't take Lala. She's everything I need her this world. He's the heart I want there to be.
"Good, Mom. Please wait." The nurse immediately closed Lala's bed with a dividing curtain.
"Tag." I'm looking.
"Mas Rey."
I hugged this man while crying. It hurts so much to see Lala like that. I can't imagine if there's anything else in the body. While I who had been with him knew nothing.
"You are calm, yes." Rey rubbed my shoulder. "While praying. Reassure everyone that Lala's okay."
Somehow I suddenly took the initiative to send a message to Mas Rey and say if she was rushed to the hospital. I want to complain to this guy.
"Let's sit down first. While waiting for Lala." Rey led me to sit on the bench.
While Mas Gevan looked at the two of us. He just kept quiet and sat down next to me. I don't care about him anymore. For me, now the most important thing is Lala.
"You drink first!" Rey opened the bottle in her hand.
I waited for the water to the toilet. Honestly, my throat was dry from yelling Lala earlier. Especially when I cry.
"Thank you, Mom," I said, returning the bottle.
"I don't know, Mom. Lala participated in a dance competition at school and then when she fell and fainted. Bloody nose, Mas," I said.
Rey has understood. He was indeed quite close to Lala during my parting with Mas Gevan, let alone the gentle and attentive speech of the man. Maybe that's what made Lala's heart melt with his attention.
"We are waiting for the results of the doctor" said Mas Rey.
I nodded and leaned against Mas Rey's shoulder while waiting for the doctor to finish examining Lala. I couldn't deny that fear was pouncing on my chest. Hopefully, my Lala is fine. I wanted to be with him until I spent the end of my life.
"Metal."
I raised my eyes. I saw Brother Naro, Galactic Brother and Shaka.
"Sister." My tears are shed.
"What happened to Lala?" brother Naro fixed my slightly messy hair.
"So Lala fainted, Brother."
Since I got divorced from Mas Gevan. Brother Naro is so considerate and affectionate towards me and Lala. And so are Galactic Brother and Shaka. I am so lucky to have a brother who loves and cares for me. In the worst of times they have always been the most comfortable place for me to go home.
"May be well." Brother Naro pulled me in his arms.
Nobody cares about Mas Gevan including Mas Rey. Moreover, their relationship is not okay. Actually I feel sorry for my ex-husband but all for his own treatment.
"You can't be a bad mother. You have to be strong when Lala is weak" said Kak Naro.
It should have been so but after all I was an ordinary woman who had an unyielding heart when she saw my little daughter lying in such pain.
We are still sitting in waiting chairs. Why is the doctor so long? My eyes kept on the curtain that covered Lala's bed. While Galactic Brother went in there and went to check on his nephew.
I'm not as good as him at forgetting. Can't get to me that fast. However, I believe that second by second I will kill all the beats that still want it. I'll immerse him deeper in the deepest recesses of the wound. I won't let a second for him breathe quietly in my head. There is no place for someone who has hurt my heart. It's just, I need time, things aren't easy for me. Let everything go slowly. Because in the end he will no longer be in the part I want.
Therefore I lyric my ex-husband who looks down. I know he was devastated to see his daughter's condition like this. Honestly there was a feeling of pity when he was ignored by the three brothers. I didn't teach my family to hate Mas Gevan but his treatment was over the line.
Galactic and several doctors came out of the curtain. Galactic Brother spoke seriously with the doctor. What if something happens to my little girl.
"Sister."
"Ta, you and Mas Gevan immediately see a doctor. There's something the doctor wants to talk to you about" Galactic Brother said, looking at me and Mas Gevan in turn.
I'm nodding. Then we went into the doctor's office. God, please I don't want to hear anything hard happen to my little daughter.
"Please sit down, sir, ma'am" the doctor said.
We both sat in the front seat of the doctor's desk. The doctor was seen removing paper from a white envelope in his hand that was probably the result of Lala's examination.
"According to the results of laboratory tests, Lala was diagnosed with advanced stage leukemia."
