Fake Princess

Fake Princess
Clvii Chapter

Sitting me in one of the wooden barrels while I turned my gaze to Kou who was still greedy eating the body of the creature earlier. The sound of battered iron clanking repeatedly knocked on my ears.

"You guys are so slow!" Shouted Aydin, turning my head to look at him who was standing beside the right side of the ship with both hands crossed on his chest.

"But this thing is so thick, sir," said one man replying to Aydin.

"Sa-chan, how are you?"

"I'm fine, nii-chan," I said, looking at him, I stared at him who was approaching with a thick dark cloth in his hand.

"really?" he continued, standing in front of me while stretching the cloth wrapped around my body.

"I'm sorry, you're almost wretched by my stupidity" he continued, kneeling and clasping my hand as he leaned his head against my knee.

"I was caught by a creature that was beyond our plans, but allowing Kou to remain in the human world is not a bad idea. So don't blame yourself" I said as I lifted my other palm gently rubbing her hair.

"So, have you decided where we're going next?"

"I've decided it" he said slowly, raising his head to look at me. Re-excite my palm rubbing her reddened eyes.

"Did you miss your friend?" he said it to me again.

"I mean Julissa?"

"Not, but your other friend," he said again, smiling at me.

"Haruki!" yelled Izumi, turning my head to follow Haruki who first turned to her.

"What's up?!" he answered with half a scream.

"Come here! There is something important that I want to show you both," he said again, turning my gaze to one of the creature's tentacle pieces that he held in his hand.

Moving on and turning around, Haruki approached Izumi, joining me in her footsteps. The holding of my hand by Haruki was walking on the ice slab Kou had made earlier.

I turned my gaze to the crew who were still trying to break the ice attached to the sides of the ship. I looked back at Kou who also walked over to us...

"Look, it's the Empire's coat of arms, isn't it?" izumi said, turning my head towards the tentacles she threw in front of us.

"You want to tell me if the Emperor sent it?" haruki continued, crouching down as he stared at the two-headed snake-shaped burn scars whose heads turned against each other...

"What's wrong?" aydin's voice rang out, turning me towards him who was walking towards us with Emre and Erol behind him.

"You can check it out for yourself" Haruki said, standing up as he walked back and stood beside me.

"What should I check?" he said while squatting in front of the tentacles earlier.

"Didn't you see it? The Empire's symbol that's on it?" haruki said, I turned my gaze back to Aydin who was staring at the tentacle earlier with his eyes slightly enlarged while placing his palm on the symbol that Haruki intended.

"So you mean, the goddamn emperor himself sent this thing to us?" said Aydin, I looked at Haruki who nodded back.

"When many Princes and Princesses died suddenly?"

"You're right, the Emperor himself killed them. It could be said that we were almost a meal for his strange creatures. The emperor avoided any rebellion that would happen to him in the future..."

"And I think the same way he did it to you guys" Haruki continued.

"Emperor has a lot of strange creatures like this. I didn't expect him to be behind this Monster," I said in response to Haruki's words.

"What are you talking about My Lord?"

"This creature, the Emperor sent it to them."

"I'm sorry, My Lord."

"Why are you apologizing to Kou?"

"Because of my magic that is in your body, you were attacked by the fish earlier," he said, quizzing my palm caressing his back.

"Your magic that has saved me many times, don't apologize for that Kou. Come here, I'll help you clean your body" I said, turning around as I stepped away followed by Kou from behind.

"Where do you want Sachi?!"

"Help Kou to clean his body" I said without looking at Izumi.

Back I set foot near the tip of the ice that Kou made. I turned my gaze to her who had gone into the water, the water stare that surrounded her froze a little because of it...

"Alright My Lord," he said looking at me.

I took off the thick cloth that wrapped my body before as I stepped up onto Kou's back and sat on it. Kou moved his body swimming more and more into the middle of the sea...

"Hold your breath My Lord," he said again while stunned I heard him for a moment.

Kou put his head in the water, I took a deep breath following my body which was also getting into the water. I put my arm around his neck, my body floating in the ocean with him...

I don't know, is this because we've done the contract so I don't have much effect on his body temperature...

Put out one of my palms to touch the ice that was frozen in the water. The coral reefs that spread in it further indulged my eyes staring around...

I turned my gaze to the hundreds of small, multicolored fish that were trying to run away. I stared at the eel that was wriggling swimming while hiding away from us...

Moving Kou to the surface, I breathed back as much air as I could get. All the clothes I was wearing were wet because of it, I lifted my palm to comb my hair which was also wet with water...

I stared at the dimming sunlight in front of us, I hugged Kou's neck back as I stared at the sunset in front of us... The combination of orange and blue colors further beautify the scenery in front of us.

"Have I made you proud, Mother? kou's words stupefied me, the stronger my embrace was on his neck.

"You've always made me proud of my Son, I'm truly grateful to have raised you, Kou," I said in response to his words as I kissed my beloved white dragon's neck many times.
