Cccxxix Chapter
"Gee!" A strong shout rang out in my ear, let my palm grab Lux and then pull her closer to my body.
Kou stood his back to us, his long tail moving around in a swirl against the sea water. The sea level around Kou's feet slowly froze to form an ice sheet like we are today...
"Stay away Sachi, I don't know what happened to my Grandfather," Ebe said looking at me, I stood up slightly walking backwards.
"What's wrong? What's going on?!" The cry of Aydin's voice rang out, I turned to look at all of them who were directing their gaze towards us.
Haruki, Izumi, and also Zeki had stood their backs, the sword that was on each of their waists had moved in their grasp. Kou took out ice from his mouth, the high waves that were about to hit us instantly froze into an ice wall before us.
"Reverse" Haruki said as he heard the sound of objects being hit under the ice sheet we were poking, saying, I looked down at some of the mermaids who were aiming their spear guns to smash through the ice slabs under our feet.
"Gee!" I shouted, as I stared at Ebe who was suddenly pulled by a green plant wrapped around his body.
"Damn it!" Izumi ran and jumped into the ocean.
"Izumi!"
"Izu nii-chan!" Shouting at Haruki and me alternately, Izumi swam closer to Ebe who was getting pulled back.
"Kurou!" Shouting out loud, my eyes turned towards Kuro swimming under the ice sheet trying to escape the pursuit of the mermaids chasing him.
I turned towards Kou, his tail moving rapidly through the sea water. Staring at Izumi and Ebe who he had wrapped around using his tail, Izumi directed his hand to grab onto Kou's body as his tail moved closer to his body.
"What's going on?" Zeki asked, turning to look at me.
I haven't been able to answer Zeki's question, my body suddenly fell down as he pulled my arm. Zeki raised his sword piercing the ice slab that suddenly lifted to the side, embraced my body with one hand while his other hand held tightly to the sword he had thrust into the ice slab.
"I'll see Eneas on the Ship. Zeki, please," said Haruki staring at us with one hand grasping his sword which had also been stuck on the ice sheet.
"I understand, there is no need to worry about it" Zeki said in response to Haruki's words.
"I'm coming with you Haruki," Lux said flying over to him, Haruki nodding back at Lux's words to her.
Haruki raised his hand to pull the sword that he put on the ice sheet. Lux flew after Haruki's body which slid down and then hit the body of the ship owned by Aydin which had also been tilted to the side almost drowned. If only, Kou did not quickly freeze the water around him.
"You fool, don't take your eyes off!" Zeki said, the stronger the embrace he has on my waist.
Zeki pulled back his sword from the ice slab, our bodies both sliding rapidly down. Zeki's sword back he moved firmly stuck in the ice surface, his grip on my waist grew stronger as our bodies stopped sliding on the ice surface.
"Down slowly, I will help you" he said, looking at me.
"You worry too much about me" I said returning his gaze.
"If you weren't my future wife, I wouldn't be worrying about you like this" she said, moving her head towards Kou, who was still freezing the waves, occasionally his tail moved to destroy the waves that he had frozen it.
"Move closer and closer" he said, looking back at me, my palms firmly grasping the clothes he was wearing.
Zeki released his hand on his sword, our bodies slipping down quickly. I felt his other hand move firmly hugging my body until the sound of a strong impact followed by our stalled body.
"I'm fine" he said as he moved his body to sit up.
I stood up, followed by Zeki, who stood beside me. My eyes turned towards the body of the ship that had sunk part of its body, I turned towards Aydin who was walking closer with a lot of men walking behind him, their bodies were soaked with water complete with the swearing Aydin took out.
"God, sword!" Reveal Zeki with a raised voice, one of his hands moved towards one of the men who walked over to him.
"Your Majesty" said the man, handing over a sword complete with a black sheath to the palm of Zeki, which he pointed at the man.
"Actually, what the creatures wanted," said Zeki pulling his sword, throwing the scabbard that covered his sword to the side.
"Are you all okay?" Izumi's words rang out, I thrust my head upwards looking at her who was flying over Kou's back.
"Sa-chan!" Haruki's shout was heard again, I turned back to look at him who had been soaked with Eneas who was closed in his arms, I looked at Yoona who was also just as wet standing behind Haruki with Cia in her sling.
"Where is Uki? And Lux?"
"They're fine" Haruki said with a slight glance towards the bag he was carrying.
"I can't let this drag on" I said back to bite the tip of my thumb.
"Kou!" My shout was strong, Kou flew around above us then slowly landed on the slightly cracked body of the ship as Kou's feet touched it.
"What are you thinking?" Zeki asked withholding my body as I was about to walk closer to Kou.
"Solving things out, I want to give the old Grandpa a lesson. His arrogance, really makes me sick," I forcefully let go of Zeki's hand on my arm.
"You know how dangerous that is?"
"I know, but if it continues like this. Even Kou, won't be able to save all of us," I returned his gaze.
"Be careful, I'll think of a way to help you."
"I knew. I'm counting on you to protect all of them here, my future husband," I said smilingly looking at him, as I turned to step closer to Kou.
"Nii-chan, come down! I'll finish it all," I said, climbing up the hull of the ship where Kou landed earlier.
"Have you lost your mind? Didn't you see what they did to this ship?!" Izumi's jolt moved her body leaping from above Kou's back.
"Nii-chan, I'm the sister you raised. Takaoka, it won't be that easy to defeat. I'm right, aren't I?" Whisper me beside him, as I put my palm against his shoulder.
"Haruki will definitely say this, destroy all those who try to get in the way. We're counting on you, my sister," he said slowly, grabbing my head and kissing it next to my head before he walked past.
"You wait, old man, I'll make you subjugated under my control. How dare you do this to us. The fish that does not know his abilities, I will destroy your arrogance" I murmured softly in English.
"What did you say?" Said Ebe who was still sitting sideways on Kou's back.
"I'm just praying for our safety. Are you ready to meet your Grandpa back, Ebe?" I looked up to return his gaze.
