Finally, I went to Paula to ask for a day off, however, I was shocked and almost left again when I found her in the study with Omar, the head of the wizard campus, and, & the man who put a spell on my body to look like a princess.
“ Oh, I'm sorry,” I said as I entered the room & saw them sitting with their heads close together, bowed down on an old, worn-out roll of paper. Paula looked up and smiled, but Omar snatched away because of this disturbance. “ I don't know...”.
“ That there is someone very famous come visit me?” Paula continued my words.
“ No,” I said while shaking my head. “ I didn't know you were busy.” Of course, I also did not know Paula had an important guest visit. So far, my experience with Paula has told me that some college witches don't give her much of a role, given her outlandish behavior and her rule-defying attitude.
Paula moved her finger at me. “ No point in denying. Usually I was surprised when he called me, but we did go to college that same year, and not even his reputation caused us to stop being friends. He only visited to ask my opinion about the mantra they found in the archives, easier to find me here than on campus.”
At that time Omar had already raised his head from the paper scroll and focused his dark-colored eyes on me. Inevitably I remembered the last time I saw her, and my stomach felt wrapped around. But I managed to put on a stiff smile. “ My lord,” my word.
“ Miss Muller,” said Omar, looking the same feet as me. The man frowned and gulped, while pulling the neck of his black robe in an almost nervous manner. Maybe he, too, remembered our last meeting.
I suspected Omar would continue, but he just looked at me with an annoyed expression, then I turned to Paula.
“ Tomorrow only,” he said. “ A friend of mine. A witch will also come to visit, so I will not be able to teach you. But make sure you've copied the notes I brought yesterday. I spilled tea on it, so I can give you a chance to practice a spell busting if you can't read it, and given the amount of tea spilled, I don't think you can read it. Just make sure it's not the words, instead of tea, that you lose.”
I nodded at Paula, then lowered my head slightly towards Omar, and slipped outside the room. However, as I walked out of the room, I heard Omar say with a snort, “ I know you taught him, but why should he, Paula. This is very unusual.”
“ Well, maybe you yourself will teach him, if not the ancient rules on your campus,” Paula answered ketus.
“ If I had told you, I might have told you a hundred times. No, don't look at me like that. I won't be persuaded, no matter what you say.”
Sounded ******* long, which even heard by me from the passageway. “ Then at least I ask you to keep me informed of his progress,” Omar said. “ Could have been this important.. I mean, for the kingdom.”.
