We decided to go back, I walked over and sat with my eyes still on the old man's hut. My eyes turned to the boy who was still soundly asleep beside Izumi. I straightened my legs followed by my hands moving back to the body, “what this has to do with the Emperor,” I said half-whispering to Haruki who was at the side.
“Entahlah. Whether or not we have it, we cannot lower our vigilance. Rest, Izumi and I will take care of you,” Haruki said, he raised his hand rubbing my head.

I sat up as I felt claps in my arms several times touching, my head bowed followed by my mouth that did not stop yawning due to sleepiness, “ stand up, the grandfather wants to take us around, he said,” said Haruki slowly while pointing his palm at me.
I raised my face and grabbed her hand, my body standing before her as Haruki pulled the palm of my hand. “She wants to take us where?” I whispered back when Haruki let go of his grasp and walked past me.
Haruki shook his head, both of his legs continued to walk without even looking back. I frowned looking at his back, my two feet following his walking steps as both of my eyes glanced towards Izumi who had also first walked away from us.
I glanced at the left end of my eyes as I felt something touch my neck and then alight on my shoulder. I raised both my hands tidying up my broken hair so that no one would be aware of Lux's existence. My eyes turned back to look straight ahead, towards the boy who occasionally faced backwards looking at us in turn.
The longer we walked, the more it also heard a boisterous sound that was getting closer. My footsteps came to a halt as I felt the embrace that was smothering my head, “don't go too far,” whispered Haruki followed by my head that was getting pushed closer to his shoulders.
“Is there something there, nii-chan?” I whispered back, my legs slowly moving in his footsteps.
“This place, worse than I thought,” Haruki whispered back as my head tried to turn around.
Both my legs came to a halt, my chest gurgling in anger after the sight of my eyes had caught the surroundings. I was stunned, I was bitten hard by my lips when my eyes fell on a girl who was hung upside down next to a middle-aged woman who was treated the same way. I glanced to the left, staring at Haruki as his hand that was gripping my shoulder grew stronger.
I bowed then walked back to follow him without daring to say a word, ‘our goal, only to disintegrate their leadership roots. Don't ruin the plan, just because you feel sorry for something you met along the way. That was my order as your brother, so don't argue with what I said,’ Haruki's words last night really still vividly remembered in my head.
‘Helping the people we met during the trip will only destroy all the plans we will do.’ To be denied, the words Haruki spoke were indeed true. If we help now, we will be the center of attention, making the enemy wary.It is the same as digging our graves, especially this is their territory.
Fucking world! To do good, we must think a thousand times before we do it. I will form a new world, with the death of the Emperor as the beginning. I swear to myself.
“Grandpa, grandpa want to take us where?!” Izumi raised her voice beside the grandfather.
“Grandfather wants to take us where?!” I took a slow bite on my lips, my eyes glancing around, towards the people around who had been speechless staring at us due to the loud noise Izumi let out.
“Oh, grandfather would like to ask for your help to bring water from the employer's house!” Again the grandfather spoke up until sharp glances by people around him led to us.
“Ka-”
“Izumi!” Haruki cut off Izumi's words followed by his two eyes that glanced around.
Izumi took a glance around, “I understand,” he said back to silence, he turned around and left his feet to leave the grandfather.
I stepped back as Haruki's embrace slightly pushed my body forward, “I want his long hair,” I glanced sharply at the two pairs of men whispering as me and Haruki walked past him.
“Ignore them. They are just mice that we can kill easily,” I raised my face to look at him who was still setting his gaze forward, as Haruki's voice sounded quietly in the ears.
“Irgo!” A strong shout of someone sounded, my eyes glanced towards the grandfather who had stopped his footsteps staring at a man. My forehead shriveled as the man pointed towards me with words I did not understand, I grew stronger clenching my own hands as the grandfather befell him with a loud laughter coming out of his mouth.
“Control yourself.” I took a deep breath and exhaled back as Haruki made a sound.
Our footsteps continued again, I looked back, turned to look at the Market that we had passed before was disappearing. The longer we walked, the cleaner the path we walked without the slightest pebbles around it. Very different, with the ground in the market where there were rocks sticking out along the way.
The longer it took, the more horse-drawn carriages passed us. We all stopped our steps as one of the carriages stopped at the side, I glanced towards the old man who was advancing towards the door of the carriage then kowtowed nearby. The coachman who was carrying the train down, walked up to the door and opened it.
A man, probably the same age as Dad, got out of the car when the door opened. The prostrating grandfather crawled near the man's feet and kissed the two shoes the man was wearing. The man was wearing a luxurious black outfit with golden thread embroidery filling him, he glanced at us alternately followed by his two fingers unceasingly rubbing the thin whiskers that were on his lips.
My eyes turned to the grandfather's grandson who had prostrated himself, even from where I was standing now. I glanced back at the man who had stepped his foot toward the two of us, followed me. Haruki's hand on my shoulder slipped off as the man approached.
He stopped in front of us, one hand raised flanking Haruki's cheeks and then moved Haruki's face to the right and left. Both of my eyes widened when he suddenly spat on Haruki's face, “your face, is too much for a lowly one!” He snapped at the man as his hand slapped the face of my brother.
