Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCXXVII Chapter

I took down one of my hands that covered both of my eyes. My body that lay floating occasionally moved to the right and then to the left carried by the water. Put out one of my hands, stacked with my other hand on top of my chest...

My eyes glare blankly at the rocks above, it also appears to be seen some jellyfish swimming downstream-mudik illuminate this place. I turned my body and swam away from the room.

My two feet that paddled the water came to a halt, I stared at Ebe who was sitting against the stone wall. He averted his eyes looking at me with his body shortly moving closer.

"You're still not well" he said, stopping in front of me, I swam past him without saying anything.

"Sachi," he said again, my body stopped as I felt a pull on my left arm.

"I have to get home soon. My family must be waiting for me there," I said, letting my hand grab her wrist that held my hand.

"I get it, follow me," he said, letting go of his grasp and swimming past.

As I swam behind him, Ebe took me down a tunnel filled with sea animals, the bodies of the animals shining like lights that lit up our path.

We stopped at a place like an altar, Ebe swam back to his Grandfather who was sitting on a throne with several male merfolk on the right and left of his body.

"Grandfather," said Ebe, he went back to swimming closer to the old man.

"I'm going to take Sachi to the surface" he said, directing his hands to embrace the old man's arms back.

"Too dangerous, I forbid you to go there" said the old man with his eyes glancing at me.

"I'll go home alone" I bowed my head at him.

"Just show me, which way I should go," I raised my head to look at him.

"No Sachi, it's dangerous out there. I can't leave you alone" he said, releasing his embrace on the old man's arm as his body swam towards me.

"You don't have to do it, thank you for giving me the opportunity to try to save my sister," I lowered my gaze, and I was bitten by my quivering lips.

"My granddaughter Dekka will take you to the middle of the sea" said the old man standing up and swimming away from the room.

"Sachi, I will still take you along" Ebe told me.

"It's okay, your grandfather said it's true," I turned around and swam to one of the mermaids who had asked me to swim with him.

"Ebe, thank you," I turned around and smiled at him.

Both of my legs are back in motion rowing the water very strongly, actually... I found it difficult to chase after him who was swimming very quickly leaving me. The mermaid stopped her tail when the tunnel we were going through ended.

I swam towards the group of male mermaids that were in front, each of them carrying a seahorse by his side. The mermaids who gathered were swimming and then sat on the back of a seahorse beside their respective bodies...

"We, will take you. My name is Dekka, you can call me Dekka" said one of the mermaids sitting on one of the golden seahorses.

"Sachi, you can also call me Sachi," I said, whispered by another mermaid.

"All right, we can go now. Your horse, it's waiting" he said, pointing his index finger behind my body.

My eyes grew bigger, the dark horse that was suddenly unconscious yesterday had stood before me. I glanced towards my wrist, the black spot like a bracelet that had enveloped my wrist before disappearing suddenly reappeared, as well as the golden crown emblem that was on the horse's forehead.

"What does this mean?" I asked, I turned back to look at the male mermaid named Dekka.

"You did a contract with him yesterday, didn't you?"

"But, he was, yesterday," I said with a little stammering.

"Because that's the contract, the horses will be unconscious at first. If they live, they will be your horses, if they die, that means you are not meant to be together" said Dekka, moving his hand through the neck of the horse he was riding, the horse moved closer.

"He waits, hurry up" said Dekka by moving his index finger back towards the dark horse behind me.

I swam near the horse's back, letting both my hands embrace its broad neck. The horse moved its head turned towards me, its fiery red eyes reminding me of Kou.

"Wait a minute, wipe his neck" said Dekka looking at me.

"Neck swab?" I asked who was replied with a nod of the head from him.

"All right, everyone, we're leaving!" Shouted Dekka, make my hand do what he said.

My body jerked forward to hit the neck of the horse, one of my hands that rubbed his neck was moving quickly to embrace the strong neck of the horse. Very fast, even faster than my horse on the mainland...

I looked towards the mermaids and their horses swimming in front of me. The horses they rode moved very quickly through the ocean, even to the amazement of me... Without a harness like a horse in general, the horse moves by itself to bring me to follow the others.

"Our animals are amazing, aren't they? Just thinking, where do you want to go. They will take you," said Dekka, turning to me, looking back at the neck of the horse I was riding.

"Then, bring me to the surface faster. Me, counting on you," I said slowly as I put my hand back to rub his neck.

The embrace I made on the horse's neck was stronger than before. He swam quickly leaving one by one the mermaids riding. The river that I passed before was very short as I stopped by as the horse carried me through...

I remember it, I gave it the name Kuro, didn't I?

"Kuro," I said slowly, putting my head against his long neck.

I felt the water moving more and more touching my body. I lifted my head back from his neck and moved to look back, the mermaids were already invisible. Kuro, the faster he swam, the faster the water around me seemed to blur in view.

The longer I approach the surface, the more tight my chest feels. The embrace I had on Kuro's neck strengthened, I was bitten by my lips as my head touched his neck...

Ii'm sorry.

Me, even...

My eyes were diverted to a falling light touching my eyes. I moved my head upwards, slowly the sunlight falling from above became more and more visible...

Throw my head in all directions as it comes out of the water. For a long time, I stared at Aydin's large ship that floated not too far from where I was looking. I lowered my head, looking at Kuro's head moving right and left in the water.

"Bring me closer to that thing, Kuro," I said softly as one of my hands rubbed his neck.
