"Miss, we've heated it" said one man with a bowl in his hand.
The man was standing in front of me, I held my hand to the white bowl covered in red cloth that was in the man's hand. The glue that had been thawed back by the man seemed to fill the small bowl in my hand.
"What do you want to do with that thing?" Said Izumi who had been standing next to me, looking at him who had set his eyes on the bowl full of glue in my hand.
"I want them to catch the insects to make sure of everything" I told Izumi, my eyes turning back on the man called the Chief.
"Your name?"
"I asked what is your name" I said once again to the man.
"Akintunde," he answered faintly.
"Akintunde, come here!" I said to him, the man was still silent not flinching, only his eyes were staring intently at me.
The man named Akintunde fell forward as Jabari who stood behind him lunged strongly at the man's back. I stepped forward as Jabari stepped on the man's body again until he had trouble moving on.
"You're the leader of this village, aren't you?" My voice crouched down before him, he was still looking at me with a sharp gaze that made my body creep.
"If you're the leader, you should be doing all sorts of things for your villagers. The selfishness of a leader like you, will only bring destruction to your village. Do you understand?" Reveal me dripping hot glue in my hand onto the man's arm.
The man named Akintunde took a strong bite on his lips as a bit of hot glue liquid fell onto his skin. I stood up again and walked over to the villagers who were still cowering in fear...
"Can you help me?" I said to some of the men who were still cowering in fear.
"Can you help me?" I said back to them, some of them just kept quiet without answering my words.
I took a deep breath, looking at them one by one. My body stood up again when the men did not understand the question I was asking them...
"Let me alone" the middle-aged woman's voice returned, she stepped over me.
"Let me help you, Miss," said the woman, with both hands pointed at me.
"Are you sure?" As I looked at her, the middle-aged woman nodded back at me.
"Well, I need you to find the wood, then mash it with this thing, be careful because it's so sticky. If you've done it, I want you to catch the flies that live around here" I said, giving him the bowl of glue.
"Wheel?"
"Yes, flies. I want you to catch the animal for me," I said chiming in on the middle-aged woman's words.
The woman retreated a few steps back, she turned her legs away. His bowed head looked very upset by occasionally looking to the right or left.
"I asked him to catch a fly for me," I glanced at Haruki who had been standing at the side.
"Wheel?"
"Did nii-chan remember the boy who ran in front of us before?"
"The direct boy..." Haruki's words stopped, I nodded my head as if I understood why he did it.
"What nii-chan noticed was a lot of flies flying around her. Not only that..."
"The sandy stretch we're stepping on right now, is almost like a desert I knew in my old life. In that desert, from what I read... There is a disease carried by a fly."
"The disease, causing the sufferer to fall asleep, unconscious, and even worse is death," I glanced at the residents who were watching me talking to Haruki.
"Say," I turned to look at the residents in turn.
"When did you first get red patches on your skin?" When I returned to them, the inhabitants were silent with their eyes staring at each other.
"They're so annoying" I whispered by moving my fingers scratching my head.
"Miss, I got it," came the voice of a woman shouting from afar, I stood up again as my eyes turned toward the source of the voice.
The middle-aged woman ran slowly towards us, appearing in her hand was a small wood she was moving with her hand waving towards us.
The woman stopped her footsteps, she bowed her body before us with her irregular breath occasionally heard. The woman pointed the piece of wood at me, I grabbed the piece of wood as my eyes looked carefully at some of the flies that were attached to the wood...
"It seems, my estimate is correct. Take a look at this nii-chan," I said directing the piece of wood was approaching Haruki, I stared at some flies that had not moved just stick to the piece of wood.
"The size is greater than flies in general, the color of his body is slightly reddish, and also... The muzzle in his mouth, the snout serves to suck the blood of animals and humans," I said back to Haruki, Haruki took the piece of wood from my hand while his eyes focused on the piece of wood.
"Say, what are the red patches on your body, because this fly bit it?" My spoon looked at the middle-aged woman, then turned to look at the villagers.
"In remembrance," a man's words stopped, I glanced at one of the men who kicked the man's leg about to speak.
"What about you? Do you remember that?" My words turned back to look at the middle-aged woman.
"I don't remember it too much. But it looks like it is" said the woman looking at me.
"You guys!" My words turned to meet our company.
"Place your robes well, cover your whole body. If you don't do it, you'll end up like them!" I shout back to the entourage.
