Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCLXXVIII Chapter

I stood beside Haruki, occasionally glancing at Lux who was rubbing Uki's head inside the bag I was carrying. My eyes were turned back on Izumi who was walking closer with Cia in her carriage and Aeneas walking beside her.

The sound of horses rang out from a distance, my head staring at the line of men who were walking closer in a horse-drawn carriage with a cart with the body of a person covered in a reddish white cloth on it.

The horse-drawn carriage stopped in front of us, the bald-headed man stepped up and opened the door of the carriage. Haruki walked over by slowly pulling my hand down the stairs of the battle building...

"We will walk with you" Haruki said as the stairs ended.

"Didn't you trust us?" The bald-headed man looked at Haruki.

"We just want to pay her respects," Haruki replied turning to the right.

The sound of breathing out followed by the sound of the door closing filled the surrounding situation. The sound of bells hanging over the carriage rang as the horse pulling it moved. The sound is still heard all day...

Some of the men walking in front of us bowed their heads. In fact, some of the men standing on the side of the road lowered their heads. The little ones I had never seen before stood by the side of the road with crying sounds coming along.

Was I still where I was before? What, I'm still in that place called heaven? What is this sight? Why does everything look so different than before.

Izumi moved sideways, her head bowed with one palm holding Cia's head. I stared at the clothes he was wearing was wet, a pottery bowl split in two had fallen beside my brother's feet.

"Killer!"

"You're not wanted here!"

"God!"

"Master," cried and said a few people tore at the ears.

"Nii-chan," I said, moving my palms to his shoulders.

"I'm fine" Izumi turned around and walked back.

The cart with Hanbal's corpse walked over and stopped at a large building made of earth. Unlike other buildings, the vast building in front of us was bounded by a wall that was not too high.

The wagon entered through a gate without a door on the wall surrounding the building. My eyes widened as we walked in...

A woman in a green dress was sitting limp with both hands shutting her mouth. His head bowed followed by a loud cry coming out of him, the woman went back and ran to the cart.

"Dad," she cried loudly, kneeling with both hands hugging Hanbal's body lying on the carriage.

Haruki stepped forward, his steps halted as several men who pulled the wagon earlier stood in his way. The four men had moved to the side as Haruki stared at them for a long time.

"Are you his son?" Haruki stopped his footsteps beside the woman.

The woman stood up, her hands rubbed her eyes several times. He turned to look at Haruki, his eyes were red... It is clearly visible even from a distance.

"If you want to kill me. You can do it right now" said the woman with her head bowed, her hands moving back over her face.

"I'm not going to kill you" Haruki stepped past the woman.

"So you, defend me to be a slave," she said in a trembling voice.

"I get. But let me, bury my father first," said the woman again, this time her voice sounded more vibrating than before.

"You can invite the residents to attend the funeral" Haruki said.

"Don't joke!" The scream of the woman turned her body to look at Haruki's back.

"My father did nothing wrong. Everyone, I've been watching him all this time... Everything he does is nothing but for the people who live here" he continued to cover his face with his palm.

"Your father killed a lot of people, he even threw away a lot of bodies by giving them to some wild birds" Haruki turned to look at the woman.

"You're wrong. All that is thrown away, they are the vandals from outside who want to make a riot in this place..."

"This place was once the territory of the Emperor. Emperors..."

"Miss" said the bald-headed man, stopping the woman's speech.

"It's okay Jabari. After all, she will lead this place and lead you all after the funeral is over" she said, keeping her head down.

"Continue. Tell me everything, but before that... You guys, bring the body inside and prepare everything for the funeral," Haruki said, addressing some of the men in front of him and moving back to glancing at Hanbal's corpse.

The men walked up to the wagon, then carried on royong lifting Hanbal's body through the door of the land house that had been opened. Some of the men who stood behind and aside, they all turned to leave us, some were walking by pulling carts even the coachman who was carrying the horse carriage... Back moving his horse walked away from us.

"Miss," said the bald-headed man, his eyes still fixed on the young woman's back.

"Go Jabari, please help me take care of all the necessities for my father's funeral," the woman replied to him, followed by the bald-headed man walking away from us.

"I'll drive you into the house" said the woman again, walking past Haruki with her head bowed.

"sorry. Sorry for killing your father" Haruki turned around and bowed to the woman.

"Please, don't apologize."

"I know how to be left behind by someone who is precious to us. I will give you your freedom after the funeral is over" Haruki said, walking away from the woman.

Izumi walked past followed by Eneas behind her. My legs followed them, I looked at the woman who was still down with both hands covering her face.

I stopped both footsteps, I turned around with a strong sigh heard. My feet moved again towards the woman, long before I stood before her... Looking at him who is still sobbing.

"Did you know? Your father, before his death... She wanted us to be her slaves" I said, raising her head to look at me.

"Are you trying to avenge everything my father said?"

"It's not like that. However, I seem to understand exactly what the reason is... You're lonely aren't you?"

"You need a friend, don't you?" I said to her again, the woman looked at me with her two slightly enlarged eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"Your father, in other words... He thinks about you a lot. And, I hope you don't hold any grudges in front of him... Because after all, the fight that had happened earlier had become an agreement between them."

"I understand exactly how you feel, because if your father wins... Then I, will lose my brother."

"I know I don't deserve it. But, Takaoka Sachi," I said back to her, thrusting my right palm towards her.

"Instead of being a slave, or being released by my brother just like that in this very dangerous world. Better, just be friends with me, right? Your name, I want to know your name," I looked back at him.

"Yoon. Bae Yoona," he said walking past me.

"Bae? Bae Yoona's? Royal Family?" Tukasku turned to look at the woman who had disappeared from sight.
