The man was walking in front of us, the brown horse I was riding was walking slowly following his footsteps. The sandy soil that spread seemed to leave traces of his footsteps along the way.
I pulled the head covering that almost fell backwards, my eyes still bowed to look at Cia who was still chewing on the apple in her hand. The air that blows more slowly feels replaced by the hot sunlight as if stinging my skin.
Isn't there a Kou? That's definitely not what you think. But as you all know, using Kou really consumed my energy, even more so... Iku would be immediately noisy if Kou's magic was too strong to fill my body.
I don't know if this has anything to do with those who became the first and second animals to be honored.
"Sachi," whispered Lux who sounded softly in my ear, I replied to her words earlier with a soft coughing voice that I made.
"I feel great sadness, great sadness. Should we go there? This really torments me," whispered Lux who again sounded.
Is sadness?
"Lux," I whispered softly.
"Can you hold him. If it's true sadness, then it's appropriate, we help them," I whispered back as I shook my head as my eyes accidentally looked at Haruki who was also looking at me.
"I understand," he said back very slowly.
The man suddenly ran as a sudden plume of black smoke rose. Izumi moved her horse to stop beside the man earlier, the conversation between them took so long.
The man moved up and sat behind Izumi, Izumi speeding his horse towards the smoke. Gesturing the bridle that tied my horse, the horse moved fast forward until Cia's head hit my chest several times as her body was jolted by the horse that suddenly moved.
The head covering that covered my head came off, the wind gusted back as my horse galloped quickly over the horse Izumi was riding. My eyes fell on the grains of sand that were flying as Izumi's horse-footed footprints ran through the sandy soil around us.
The cry of the man just now suddenly broke out as all our horses stopped at an archway made of piles of human corpses. The man jumped down from the horse, kneeling with his palms moving over his face.
The roaring cry he let out was really claustrophobic at hearing. Izumi moved her horse to walk through the archway earlier, droplets of fresh blood from the pile of corpses moving down her shoulders.
I moved my horse to walk through the gate earlier. Some of the faces of the corpses that had been piled up earlier looked awful with both of their eyeballs disappearing followed by a wide gaping mouth.
My body was stunned, my eyes slightly closed as I looked at the scenery around me. The houses that were around were burned, I found out from the remains of wood debris that had blackened.
That's not what makes me want to curse who did it. But, the pieces of human tongue and also the eyeballs that slap along the ground are what make my body goosebumps.
The sound of a man's cry was heard again, I stared at him who was sitting hugging the charred body of a child. The body was seen curled up with both hands hugging his legs.
"This is why, I don't want to come here" Lux whispered with a trembling voice in my ear.
"I, I asked him to hide," the man cried as Izumi moved her horse closer to the man.
"I left him to seek help... My daughter," she cried again, tightly hugging the charred little body.
"I'm a useless father, I can't even help my own son. Please sir, just kill me with your sword" he said almost inaudibly, drowning his head in touch with his son's head.
"If you want to die, at least... Help us first bury the body of your son and all of them" Haruki said, moving his horse to the man.

The sky darkened, the clothes I was wearing had been soaked with sweat. The three torches we set on the ground looked like the fire was swaying in the wind. Izumi moved to place a piece of rock on the excavation of land that was in front of us.
A stone for the last gravestone of the funeral we prepared for them. Izumi moved her legs closer to us who had been sitting resting, my eyes still focused on the man who was sitting curled up next to the grave of her son.
"Is the water still there?" Said Izumi, I give my head to look at her who had been sitting in front of me.
My hand that was grasping the water-filled leather bag moved closer to him. With the removal of the skin bag in my hand earlier by him, both hands move to open the skin bag lid earlier while moving the bag up until the water in it falls into his mouth.
"Who would slaughter this small village" Haruki said, putting his hands back as his head looked up at the sky.
"I don't know, but they're really outrageous" Izumi said, pointing the leather bag back at me.
"Lux, are you okay?" I looked at him sitting next to the bag with Uki sleeping in it.
"I'm fine, I'm just a little tired" he said leaning back on the bag.
"Looking at the man reminded me of Dad," Haruki said, breaking the silence again.
"Maybe, like that... When Dad got a fake body shipment from the Emperor six years ago," he followed several breaths.
