CCCLXI Chapter
"We lost about a hundred Knights" Adofo said again ringing in my ear.
What will Haruki do? They lost a great number of troops in the Southern Fort.
I bent down to reach for the bow and arrow that was near my feet, my footsteps again walked closer to the stairs of the fortress wall. "What are you guys looking at?" I asked some of the Knights who had lined up neatly in front of the fortress.
"Hime-Sama," said one of the Knights who had turned to look at me.
"Why?"
"What's going on?" I asked to go back to them.
The Knights were still silently silent, they just looked at me without saying a word. I walked through them all, my eyes widened as my eyes fell on the enemy. “They ... Are enemy troops indeed this much?” I asked one of the Knights.
“Where? Where are Adofo and also Gritav,” My words to them.
“Hime-Sama,” male voice sounded, I bow my head turned towards that voice.
“Gritav, where have you been?” I ask as I step foot towards him.
“I just asked for help from the troops guarding the other fort. Because if only we fight, our troops are less than them,” Gritav said back to me.
“Then? What's their reply?” I asked him again.
“So, I just ordered my men to ask for help. We just have to hold on, until the help comes soon, otherwise.” Reveal Gritav stopped, I stared at him who shook his head looking at me.
“Could they bring in an army that previously attacked another fortress to turn around attacking the main fortress?” I made a sound again as I was bitten by my thumb to meet the enemy troops.
“It seems, because it is impossible if they get that much help overnight,” Gritav replied to me.
“Listen to me all of you! I knew that the enemy forces that attacked were shocking and beyond all our expectations, including me. But that does not mean, we will just give up on them. This is our territory, they .. have no right to take everything we have worked for. They, have no right to take what we have accomplished with great difficulty,” I said in a nearly exhausted voice, I stared at the Knights who had alternately turned one by one towards me.
“I promise, won't let them all set foot in this place. I promise, I will bring victory to you all. Therefore ... Don't give up everything, please .. Don't give up,” I said with a trembling voice, I stared at the water that suddenly fell from my face.
“Hime-Sama,” heard a male voice that sounded, I raised my head to look at the Knight who spoke earlier.
“Who said if we give up?” Reveal the man who was greeted with a nod of the head from the others.
“We will destroy them all right?!” Shouted Adofo who had stood in the midst of the troops by lifting the spear he held up.
“We will destroy them all right?!” Adofo's shout was heard again, this time the scream he was doing was greeted with a boisterous shout made by the other Knights.
“Hime-Sama,” Gritav's voice was heard followed by a soft clap that touched my back.
I spread my feet a few steps forward, the Knights turned back in silence looking at me. I took a deep breath as I could as long as my eyes were still looking at them in turn, “What are you doing? Get back in your positions! Lift and hold your weapons firmly. Don't stop fighting as long as your breath hasn't stopped!”
“Execute, Hime-Sama!” The Knights shouted out loudly in response to my words, one by one they started to step foot out of the place where they stood before.
“Good work Hime-Sama, you did very well,” Gritav back up, this time he rubbed my head slightly bowed.
I raised my head again, my legs moving forward slightly. I dropped my eyes on the enemy troops who were still building bridges from the boards to carry their weapons of war. “Gritav, command the archers to get ready,” I said without turning to him.
“According to your order, Hime-Sama,” he said that sounded in my ear.
My eyes turned back to the enemy troops, I bit my thumb back as my brain forced me to think of all the plans I was going to use. The sound of trumpets sounded by the enemy troops slightly stomped my body, they began to move closer together with the sound of the trumpet earlier.
The second trumpet sound goes, the pedestrians run fast towards the fortress, “t shoot arrows!” I screamed loudly.
Hundreds of arrows flew towards the enemy troops, some of them swiftly raising the shield in their hands. Our arrows raining down on the enemies left several foot soldiers unable to avoid falling over. They were sprawled with arrows piercing through their necks, some even from the enemy army received two arrows at once in his left eye.
Some of the pedestrian troops hiding behind the shield, began to run towards the fortress by leaving their shields behind. My archers turned their arrows back, the enemy troopers that ran down just now fell down one by one as the arrows increasingly rained down on their bodies.
The sound of a bang followed by a strong vibration almost made my body fall forward if Gritav did not immediately catch me. My eyes grew slightly as I stared at the huge flying rock that had hit some of my troops. The enemy's weapon again fired another large stone to destroy the front of the fortress.
“Hime-Sama,” said a male voice sounded, I raised my palm towards the voice, “not yet, hang on for a little while longer,” I said without taking my eyes off.
The enemy's weapons are moving forward again, the attacks they are doing are increasingly blindly attacking us. “Now!” My orders are very loudly heard.
I looked up again at the jug that was flying past us, the jugs darted quickly to the point of crashing into the enemy's giant wooden weapons. Fire arrows quickly followed the jugs, I saw the fire spread out big when the arrows fell on the weapons of the enemy.
Some of the enemy forces that were around these weapons immediately moved to escape from the weapons that were increasingly engulfed by the blazing fire. Thick smoke billowed around them until soaring filled the sky.
“Don't let them all come closer! Arrows back them all!” I screamed again, I saw the remaining archers again raise their arrows, then shoot their arrows at the enemy troops who were still running in an uncertain direction.
