Fake Princess

"La-par," Cia's voice softly sounded as she buried her head in my arms.

My eyes fell upon the men who had held a horse from the company. The horses attempted to rebel as the men held back the horse's movements with their bodies.

Jabari who was standing beside Haruki walked forward to the horse with a sword in his hand. Jabari's footsteps stopped near the horse's head, aiming his sword at the horse's neck...

Some of the men who were sitting holding the horse's body were moving and walking backwards away from the horse. The poor horse fluttered his body in the sand that had been turned red by his blood.

"Are we going to eat that poor horse?" Yoona's voice surprised me as she had been sitting on the side.

"If we don't do it, we'll starve to death here" I looked back at Jabari who swung his sword many times around the horse's neck.

"You say it like everything is normal for you" he said back to me.

"If I'm to be honest, I'd rather eat horse meat than snake meat" I said, bowing my head, the memory of us eating snake meat in the forbidden forest sticking out in my memory.

"Did?"

"It's nothing, I'm just talking," I said back to his words.

"I'm going to take Cia to the tent" I said trying to get up by holding Cia who had fallen asleep.

I walked closer to the white cloth tent which was not too far from where I had been sitting before. Why white? Because white can reflect the heat of the sun. It would feel like hell if I built that tent with black cloth...

"Sorry," a female voice rang out as I opened the cloth curtain on the tent.

"It's okay, you can rest here" I said as I looked at a woman nursing her baby.

The woman was still quietly bowed to her sleeping baby in her cradle. I sat down with Cia lying on the cloth that was spread out inside the tent, I thrust my palm rubbing her face full of sweat...

"Thank you" said the woman, breaking the silence.

"Thank you, for?" I told her to return her gaze.

"Because, thanks to you... We can survive," he smiled, lowering his gaze.

"No need to thank me, because if you're dying. They'll leave you like men last night, too" I said, lying next to Cia.

Our horse walked slowly back through the desert. Akintunde's boisterous voice was heard followed by the voices of the other villagers, some of them jumping in excitement with one hand pointing in the same direction...

Izumi moved her horse closer to the entourage. His raised next to his palm covered his eyebrows while his eyes were fixed on the direction they had pointed before...

"Water, and the green plains," Izumi turned her head towards us.

Some people were bowed with palms covering each of their faces. In fact, the sound of crying came from their lips...

I'm down, I don't know why... My tears came out hearing the words Izumi said.

Akintunde followed the other villagers galloping in the direction they had pointed out earlier. Izumi also moved his horse to run after Akintunde, seeming one by one of the group also helped move their horse even some who immediately ran after the steps Akintunde and others...

The afternoon air that is not too hot makes them more excited to run closer to the expanse of grass with some animals that are busy filling their stomachs there.

My horse's footsteps came to a halt as he set foot on a stretch of grass. I looked around and let my horse eat the weeds in front of him.

Animals such as Zebras, Giraffes and even Elephants seem to be busy with their own lives without being bothered with our arrival.

Some of the men from the village seemed to have splashed themselves in the river that was plastered long in front. Some of them also sit by the river with occasional washing of their faces...

"The first time for me to see these animals," Izumi's voice startled me, I turned to look at her followed by Haruki and also Eneas riding their horses near me.

"You mean, Zebras, Giraffes, and Elephants" I said, pointing at the animals in turn.

"How's it?"

"I read it from a book," I replied to Izumi's question.

"Do you know nii-chan, I want our Kingdom to have that animal to keep," I said to Haruki with my index finger pointing towards the Elephant who was bathing with water that he sprayed from his trunk.

"The animal?" Haruki continued pointing towards the Elephant, I nodded back at his words.

"The animal is very powerful, if we use it as a weapon in battle... We will very easily kill many pedestrians," I said, looking back at Haruki.

"Are you sure?"

"Sure, look at his body. Man will instantly lose his life, if he sets foot on the human body," I said again to Haruki.

"Is that so?" Haruki said crossing both of his arms to the chest.

"Acintundate!" Shouted Haruki back as his gaze was fixed on Akintunde who stood looking at the villagers who were busy playing water in the river.

"What's up?!" Reply Akintunde shouted, he turned around to move his legs closer to us.

"What do you think of this place?" Haruki said as Akintunde stopped his footsteps before us.

"This place is better than our previous place. I mean, here there's food and water, too" he said, rattling around us.

"What if we help you build a civilization here?" Haruki said, I don't know what is in my brother's mind.

"After we get to our destination, I'll send my father a letter to send a lot of help for you to stay here. Only, just repay our kindness with one condition that you must do," Haruki said looking back at him.

"What can you do?"

"Many, I am a Prince. My kingdom can give you whatever you need, even if it concerns the freedom of your agreement with the Empire later," Haruki said back to him.

"really? Then, tell me what should we do?"

"I want you to stay here, and train all the animals that live here... To be a murder weapon that we can use later," Haruki said again pointing towards an elephant that immersed his body in the river.
