Fake Princess
CCCVI Chapter
"The rope is on fire" said Izumi sitting crouching, grabbed by the rope I threw earlier.
"Snake and now this. Don't you feel something strange?" Haruki's voice walked over to Izumi as Izumi stood up by lifting the rope in her hand.
"What you're talking about is, everything we see and hear is wrong. While everything Sachi saw and heard was true?" Zeki turned her eyes to look at me.
"I don't know what this place is. But if it's like that, the only way we can survive from here is to rely on all that Sachi feels," Haruki said.
"In other words, we can't believe everything we see or hear?" Aydin was met with a nod of the head by Haruki.
"So, Sa-chan. We're counting on you."

"How's the Princess, do you feel anything?" Aydin turned around while stepping back.
"I don't feel anything" I bowed and wiped the sweat that fell on my face.
"I'm tired" Izumi continued sitting on the sand, her head bowed between her legs.
I walked backwards as countless eyes appeared to be walking towards us. The shadow of the four-legged animal became clearer as the pair of eyes moved closer to us.
"Run," I told them, Izumi stood up as I walked backwards.
"What's wrong?"
"Run from here immediately!" I turned to move my legs as fast as I could run. My head turned around, the four of them seemed to be running along quickly following.
"What's wrong?" Said Haruki back who had been standing next to me.
"Zeki, next to you," I said pulling his arm, our bodies tumbling on the sand.
I glanced at Haruki, Izumi and also Aydin who were still running towards us. Zeki lifts his body from above me, I move my body to sit while holding Zeki's shoulder beside me.
"Izu nii-chan, behind you!"
"High Izumi!" Shouted Aydin who instantly moved the sword he was holding towards Izumi.
Izumi quickly lowered her head, Aydin's sword splitting open the belly of an animal that was about to attack Izumi earlier. Blood splashed in the air as Aydin moved his sword back.
"Actually what I attacked," said Aydin again moving his sword in any direction.
"I'll help them, you just think about how we can fight them," zeki said, standing up and running towards the three of them who seemed busy swinging the sword in each of their hands in all directions.
"What, what should I do" I said, moving my eyeballs to the right and to the left trying to think of something.
"Right, the footprints," I said staring at the former palm of my hand printed on the sand.
Aydin turned back, Zeki in the opposite direction. Haruki ran to the right side, while Izumi ran in the opposite direction. The four of them lowered their heads, gazing at the sand that lay around them.
Haruki turned around swinging his sword upwards, the tip of his sword scraping the body of the animal as it was about to jump onto Haruki's body.
Wait, why did the animals just attack the four of them? None of them even approached me.
"Aydin, to your right. Swing your sword down!" Shouted, Aydin turned around by swinging his sword following what I ordered. The animal that was sitting near his feet earlier, died slumped with his head almost released.
"Izu nii-chan turned around!" I shouted back very loudly. Izumi turned her body, she fell backwards with the creature sitting on top of her chest.
Zeki ran towards Izumi, the sword in his hand was thrown firmly towards Izumi until it pierced through the animal's stomach. Izumi grabbed Zeki's sword and moved the sword until it split and spilled all the entrails of the creature on top of Izumi's body.
I ran up to them, I raised my sword as an animal that was about to attack Zeki from behind stopped its footsteps. The animals turned around and ran away from us when a trumpet sounded in the ears.
"Are you guys okay?" I put my sword back in its sheath.
"Aydin, they have run away" I looked at him who was still swinging his sword into the air.
"really?" Aydin lowered his sword with his head bowed.
"Actually what creature attacked us earlier," said Izumi walked over while returning the sword Zeki had held.
"I don't know what the creature is exactly. He had a wolf-like face, but a furred tiger-like face with a short tail as big as a hand," I pointed my palm at them.
"Wolf? A tiger?"
"Fishmen like you, will not understand" said Zeki sat with his sword beside his body.
"I'll kill you when we get out of here. I made sure of that" said Aydin, sitting down and laying his body on the sand.
"Thank you, but I won't be that easy to die at the hands of a man like you" Zeki said, raising his head up into the sky.
"What will we do after this?"
"I want to gather energy first before continuing the journey," said Haruki who also sat down by sticking his legs forward.
"Nii-chan, clean up the blood in your body" I said, handing over a small cloth I took from the bag, Izumi grabbed the cloth in my hand and swept it clean the remnants of the animal's blood that was still attached to his body.
"I want us to follow in the footsteps of the animal" I said, they all turned to look at me simultaneously.
"I heard a trumpet before the animals ran away..."
"So what you're trying to say, we can figure out the mastermind of everything here if we follow those creatures?" Izumi chimed in on my words.
"True, the sooner we find him. The sooner we get out of this place, too," I said back to them.
