Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCXLIX Chapter

My eyes were still fixed on the direction of the enemy fortress, my horse was walking forward as the noise coming from the fort became clearer. My head looked up slightly, the smoke from the burning of the flesh carried out by our troops grew thicker in the sky.

Our moving troops burned the meat earlier, slowly turning back to run towards us. My eyes were turned back to the gate of the fort that opened slightly from the inside. The gate moved open and then closed again, and so on until repeatedly.

The wooden gate suddenly opened wide followed by a lot of people who ran away from the rooftop. Those people scrambled to run out, even some of them fell down and were trampled by others.

"Team, attack!" I screamed out loud followed by a strong trumpet sound.

The powerful screams released from the troops behind me filled the air. They dashed past me with swords and spears in their hands, the people who had previously dashed close to the flesh-burning fire suddenly fell head over heels, dashing to avoid the pursuit of my troops.

One of the soldiers I led, fell down with an arrow piercing his head. My eyes turned towards the enemy troops who were lined up holding arrows from the top of the fortress, their arrows raining down on the bodies of my troops several times.

My eyes turned again towards the enemy archers, one by one the archers standing on the fortress fell to the ground with their heads down. A flag fluttered above the fort, followed by the collapse of the enemy flag that previously fluttered strongly at the top of the fort.

"Hime-sama," Gritav's voice called out to me, "I understand, all the troops! Attack!" I shouted back loudly, my horse running fast as the bridle that tied it I pulled very firmly.

Gritav, riding his horse in front of me, raised his spear high, and swung it towards the pedestrian troop that was running towards me. The blood splash that followed the swing of his sword seemed to fill the scene before my eyes.

Gritav again swung the spear he was holding, a man who had originally run with a sword in his hand suddenly remained silent. The man's eyes were enlarged, his body twisted as Gritav's spear slipped from his neck, and blood gleamed out of the man's neck before he fell to the ground.

My horse moved again, I turned my eyes up to look at Sanjiv who was standing on the fortress was standing watching us. Sanjiv moved his head a little, I answered the code with a soft nod from me.

"Gritav! Open the way for me! Do it quickly!" Shouting back loudly, Gritav nodded slowly without looking back. The spear he was holding moved increasingly quickly cut through the bodies of the enemy troops who were unceasingly running towards us.

Some of the enemy troops were directly slumped to the ground with several arrows piercing their backs. "Hurry now!" The sound of Sanjiv screaming from the top of the fortress turned my eyes away, the dozens of archers standing next to him shot their arrows back at the enemy troops blocking our path.

"Hime-sama, follow me!" Arata's voice rang out, I gave my horse a run after the horse he was riding through the human crowd.

"Gritav! Aeneas!" I screamed in turns without looking at them.

"I'll catch up with nee-chan soon."

The voices of Eneas and Gritav who were heard alternately knocked on my ears. I held up one hand to grab the sword that was hanging from my waist, I thrust it away from the sword of an enemy knight who was moving towards me.

"Hime-sama, hang on!" Arata's voice sounded strong, I quickly raised my right leg kicking the Knight's chest hard until the horse I was riding almost fell to the left.

The knight I kicked earlier fell backwards onto the two Knights who were behind him. I dropped the sword I was holding very quickly as one hand reached for the bow I had deliberately tied next to my horse.

My right hand grabbed the arrow that was on my back, thrust my arrow towards the Knight earlier. My arrow shot quickly through the left eye of the Knight earlier, the Knight was bowed with both hands holding the wood in the arrow.

As for my other arrows, the arrow pierced through the head of one of the Knights who was about to run over to me, a spear suddenly swung before me ... The spear severed the neck of one of the men standing in front of my horse.

The man's body stood still, blood pouring from his neck that was cut off. My eyes glued to the splash of blood coming out of the man's neck, "Hime-sama," a male voice suddenly sounded, I thrust my head to look at Arata who had held my arm from the top of his horse.

"Go up on my horse" he said with one hand, another one cutting off the baton of the head of one of the men with the large spear he was holding.

The man stood there before falling to the side with his head spilling around his head, "Hime-sama," he said again, this time glancing at me looking sharp.

"Where is Cia?" I asked him to look at him, "four of my men are looking after him, he'll be safe. Hime-sama, I'm only worried about your safety as well as the two Princes" he said again, Arata directed his hand to embrace my waist, pulling my body until I fell off the horse I was riding.

Arata's embrace on my waist grew stronger, I held my hand against his shoulder as I put my foot on the horse he was riding. "Hold the strong one" he said as I had managed to sit behind him.

The horse that Arata was riding on ran quickly through the crowd of several Knights who were fighting on the right as well as the left. The spear he held repeatedly cut off the neck, arms or even split the head of the enemy forces trying to block our path.

Arata's sword blade at his waist, I slashed the sword with my right hand against the face of one of the enemy Knights who was about to point his sword at me. I turned to the left side, I raised my left arm until my bow fell on my shoulder.

The horse we were riding on was moving faster as I looped my arm around the armor Arata was wearing. The horse brought us deeper into the Tao Kingdom, corpses strewn all the way as my eyes moved around.

"Bring me, head straight for the palace!"

"According to your orders, Hime-sama," he said, the bridle he held moved firmly followed by the horse we were riding running faster and faster forward.
