Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CcxxxVII Chapter

"When? When did you find out about Sa-chan's knife?"

"When we first came to the castle, I accidentally found it in my bag. Maybe one of you put it there," I said looking back at him.

"That's me, while cleaning up all the stuff. I don't like wasting weapons, so since it's a knife, I give it to you" Izumi chimed in on my words.

"Again, that's not what we have to ask now. Rather, the symbol of the crocodile and also the monster that Egil intended," Izumi said again as he raised both arms and crossed them to the chest.

"Crocodile? Black monster with red eyes? Are you guys thinking the same thing I thought?" Haruki's speech was addressing me and Izumi in turn.

"Empire?" Izumi chimed in on Haruki's words.

"Empire?" Niel looked at the three of us in turn.

"Six years ago. We have been attacked by the Dragon belonging to the Emperor, his body is full of black scales with fiery red eyes," said Izumi, bowing his head with both arms still attached to his chest.

"King? Black Monster? The dragon? Burned out?" Haruki continued to raise both arms crossed in the chest.

"What do you think, Sa-chan?"

"Okay, maybe our estimates are correct. But if the monster was here, Kou would have felt it already" I said, raising my thumb to the lips and biting it.

"Egil, do you know where they're hiding?" My friend turned her eyes to him.

"Egil," said Niel looking at him who was still silently bowed.

"Will but Dad," he kept his head up with both hands clasping Niel's palms.

"If the monster you're talking about shows up. I'm the one who's going to kick him out of here, so Egil... Tell me everything," I said, looking at him who turned his eyes to look at me.

"Check all the rooms, don't lose any trace and catch them all inside!" Shouting Tem moved all the Knights into the old wooden building in the middle of the forest.

One by one the Knights walked in while the rest walked around the outside of the building. Haruki looked at me then turned back, I loaded my horse after his horse that walked away from the entourage.

"Izumi!" Revealing Haruki in a slightly raised tone, I turned to look at Izumi who had also been riding her horse behind me.

Izumi's horse moved forward past the two of us. Circumstances darkened followed by silence that enveloped the forest. I took a deep breath while trying to focus on hearing the sound of the footsteps of the horse walking in front of me.

"Enemy trail. Because, there is no way such a cunning enemy will invite strangers to his hiding place," Haruki said, breaking the silence.

"If so, why did you agree to go here?"

"Do you want to make them all bait, nii-chan?"

"As expected of my beloved sister," Haruki's remark again sounded.

"Izumi, take us to the castle as soon as possible!" Keep Haruki back.

"Damn it, make sure you don't get left behind" said Izumi followed by the sound of footsteps of horses moving away.

I bowed my horse following the voice earlier, as Izumi shouted to the right... Bow my horse as quickly as possible to turn right, when he says slow down your horse. I immediately pulled the horse harness I was holding so that the speed would decrease.

The footsteps of the three of our horses accelerated as the shadow of the Castle on the top of the hill was seen. Many times and many times Haruki shouted for the castle gate to be opened, but to no avail.

"Ah shit, Sachi your arrow," Izumi said as she pointed her palm at me while another hand was pointed at Haruki.

Let out my palm grabbing the bow and arrow hanging on my back, I thrust the bow and arrow over Izumi's palm as my eyes fell on Haruki who placed a rope over his other palm.

Izumi untied the rope that was usually stored in Haruki's bag wrapped around the arrow I gave her earlier. He directed the arrow that had been tied to the top of the castle wall.

Izumi came down from his horse as the arrow he was flying struck on the wall. Izumi pulled the rope to make sure it was strong or not, forward him a few steps while moving his body to climb a rope earlier.

I came down from my horse as I set foot across the bridge. I turned my head as Haruki's soft clap touched my shoulder. My legs moved closer and closer as my hands reached for the rope that flew to the right and left in the night wind.

I pushed my body up the rope, I saw from a distance Izumi who was holding the rope tightly from the wall. I thrust my palm into the palm of Izumi's hand that led to me while I put my foot on the wall and sat on it.

I turned my gaze to Haruki who was also climbing up after us. Unlike me, they both seem to do it very easily. Izumi moved her body backwards as Haruki was about to reach the top of the wall, so I moved my body back slowly with great care. Because otherwise, all my bones would instantly be smashed to pieces due to this height.

"Sa-chan, come down first. We will help you" Haruki said, pointing the end of the rope at me.

The end of the rope as I grasped it so firmly, I jumped down that my body swayed several times in the air against the wall. I stared at my two brothers who grasped the rope earlier while the rope was moved was protruding down very slowly by them.

I retreated backwards a few steps as my two feet landed back on the ground. My eyes were still fixed on Izumi who was also moving down following me. I moved my head back, the door of the castle that was always closed... For some reason, it's wide open tonight.
