I followed Lux's direction, when she said turn right, so I'd do what she said. “Nii-chan!” I shouted to a man who was ordering some men in front of him.

He turned his head towards me with his two arms crossed at the chest, “you, really!” On her impact, she turned around as I stepped closer and closer to her.

I groaned a little in pain as Izumi stretched out my ear, “you, use your wits first or not before doing this?” his murmur that followed the stronger the jewels my ears received.

Izumi's jewel in my ear came off, connected with a sigh from her, “you,” she said as she pulled my hand away from the crowd of several men nearby, “actually, what was in your mind that?” Izumi whispered softly while tightly embracing my shoulder.

“What do you mean, nii-chan? I didn't do anything,” I said with a slight frown returning his gaze.

“Then, how can you explain about water last night?” Izumi's embrace is stronger than before.

“That's the work of the Mermaids,” I replied briefly to him.

I once again glanced at him as he firmly gripped my head, “that's the work of the Mermaids, but they obey your orders, don't they?” He asked back followed by the grip of his hand on my head came off, “if only Haruki did not understand the intent of the clue you gave. All of us, will die,” he said as he sighed again.

Izumi retreated her legs a few steps to the side, “how are you doing? Are you okay after doing all this?” she asked, I looked down with my hair straightened as the grip of her hand on my head slipped.

Let my eyes look up, “I've been resting all day, so I'm fine now,” I said as I looked back at him.

“You what?” Izumi asked back by gripping the corner of my lips using both of her fingers.

“I have slept, rested a full night,” answered I lowered my head, I raised my palms rubbing the two corners of my lips earlier.

Izumi raised her head followed by her hand moving face rubbing, “you are soundly asleep, as many people here are claiming lives?” he continued, again taking a strong breath.

I walked through it, “I don't care about them. After all, everything I wanted to save .. It was safe, those who died, just the trash,” I said stopping my steps with a slight glance at the tip of the eye.

I resumed my steps with my head bowed to the mud that covered the ground. “Forgiving us, always taking you to a place you shouldn't visit,” Izumi's voice came back followed by a slow clap that rubbed my head.

I raised my face again, staring at his back that had walked past me. Izumi walked up to the crowd of men standing before her earlier. The crowd of men had been following Izumi, away from where she had stood before.

I bite my lips hard before my feet step back. My arms were raised involuntarily as I again walked past the blackened corpse, turning my eyes aside

to some of the fish carcasses that were near the corpse .. Really, the smell of blood rancid mixed with fishy fish carcasses, really pierced my stomach which since yesterday afternoon was completely unfilled.

“Where have you been?!” My footsteps came to a halt when Haruki's voice rang out in my ears, I turned to look at him who was walking over with his right arm covering his nose.

I lowered my gaze, trying to avoid her gaze. “What questions I ask are not yet clear in your ear?” The question from him came back to my ears.

I took a deep breath then exhaled back before I raised my face to look at him, “Kou, taking me to the uninhabited island in the middle of the ocean,” I replied with a glance to the left, reluctant to return her sharp gaze that led to me.

“You,” said Haruki stopped, he bit his lips followed by his hands that clenched strongly. Haruki exhaled very strongly before he returned his gaze to me, “what have you thought, how dangerous is it to do this?”

“I wouldn't do it if I didn't think about the risk, nii-chan,” I replied to him.

I glanced down, “that's just .. If, the Emperor knows it, right? So, as long as he doesn't know it, everything will be fine. After all, who can blame a disaster,” I chimed in on his words.

“You were right,” he said which made me lift my face back to look at him.

“I just didn't expect, if you would have acted this far,” he said back as he walked past me.

I turned to look at her back, “nii-chan!” my mouth called him until he stopped his steps and turned to look at me, “what am I, making a mistake?” I asked him with a firm grasp both of my hands looking at him.

Haruki smiled, “you're angry with them, aren't you? Therefore, you've done all this, I'm right, aren't you?” he said as he moved his feet closer to me.

“I cannot forgive all their deeds. Me,” I said stalled with a bowed face, “ feels no different from the Emperor. I admit it .. I, regret doing everything just to achieve my own wish,” I said in a trembling voice saying so.

“So, you noticed it?” I nodded my head in response to her words.

“Come!” His orders by waving his hand towards me.

I took a deep breath before walking closer to him, “what, you feel more relieved now?” He asked with a grab and then took my hand.

I shook my head very slowly, “aku, feeling very guilty to them. I, met a little boy on the way here .. The boy, cried loudly beside one of the corpses.”

“I want to embrace it, I want to comfort her. But what can I do, if I killed the father he cried himself.” I stopped my words again as Haruki stepped forward and hugged my body.

“How are you doing? You must be really tired, right? Using Kou and those Mermaids?” he said while I was coming to feel the rubbing that combed the back of my head.

“I'm fine. I had enough rest before coming back here,” I said very slowly to him.

“Good,” he said walking backwards while releasing his embrace to me.

“Izumi!”

“Eneas!” Haruki called out the names of the two of them followed by his face which glanced to my right and back right.

I turned to the right when Izumi's voice sounded again, I stared at him who was walking towards us with both hands full of black mud, “what is it?” he asked when his footsteps stopped beside us.

“Forget to help them. We will leave this place soon!”

“Currently too?” Izumi asked back with both eyes glancing at me, “I understand,” he continued again as he re-directed his gaze to Haruki.

“I will clean my body for a while,” said Izumi as she stepped closer to me, “Lux, invite her to eat. Her face was too pale to continue the journey,” Izumi whispered as she stopped her steps beside me.

“Don't think too much about it. All this, it's not your fault,” Izumi continued, she kissed the side of my head before her legs stepped away.
