Fake Princess

Fake Princess
Cccxii Chapter

I thrust my feet down the castle hallway, some torches hanging along the hall seemed to dim slightly compared to before. My eyes narrowed slightly as the rays of sunshine fell on my face.

My footsteps moved away from the castle door, the thin wind that blew slightly gave a freshness all over my body. My feet were moving closer to the pool that lay in the corner of the wall, the arrangement of small stones that surrounded the pool as if giving me a signal to stop the step.

Long I stared at the pool water is a little murky, the water looks calm as if it has no life in it. I bowed my body beside the pool, and repeatedly pushed my right palm to grab my fallen hair and then slipped it back to my ear.

"What are you doing here?" a male voice rang out, my head turned to look at Niel who had been standing behind me with a chicken carcass tied to a long rope.

"Searching for fresh air, by yourself? Why bring chicken carcasses?" I said as I put my head back into the pool.

"Feeding my pet fish" she said, her shadow had stood out in the corner of my eye.

My eyes fell back on the chicken carcass that floated in the middle of the pond with the rope that still tied his body. The chicken carcasses moved in and out repeatedly from the pool water...

The originally calm water suddenly rattled, which initially only shook the surface of the water plan, gradually moving more irregular. My eyes widened slightly as the red color filled the surface of the pond, I turned my gaze to Niel who was still looking straight at the pool.

The rope that binds the chicken carcass was increasingly moving upwards, the feathers of the chicken carcass was also scattered to fill the surface of the pond. I bowed my body a little backwards from the pool when the body of the raised chicken carcass was only a bone.

"What animal is in it?" I stood up and looked at Niel.

"Fish," he replied briefly, moving he turned away with one of his hands holding the rope that was still binding the chicken bones.

"Don't you? You mean Piranha?" I turned around and walked in his footsteps.

"Piranhas? I don't know, I got it from an acquaintance," he said, walking without even turning his head.

"I forgot something, catch it!" he turned around by moving his other hand.

My footsteps stopped when my eyes fell on the thing he threw. I give both my hands to catch the thing he threw earlier...

"Key?" I said, I still stared at the dozens of keys that were connected with an iron bracelet in my palm, I put my head back to look at Niel who was also looking at me.

"The lock of the dungeon is like your previous request" he turned back and walked over.

"You sure you gave it to me?" I said, I grabbed the iron bracelet with my right hand while my legs moved to walk in his footsteps.

"I don't know what you want to do in the dungeon, but whatever you see in there. Ignore it, and assume you've never seen it" he said in reply.

"Alright, do it according to the commandment" I said as I bowed my head to the sky.

"Say! What do you need to do to see me Tem?" niel looked at him.

"We have arrested two men whose characteristics are exactly the same as the woman said," he said, glancing at me.

"really? You guys caught them this fast?" I said I put my foot up to them.

"We followed all your orders, I ordered one of my men to be one of the buyers, and we caught them both when the trap was set," she spoke to me in a tone that sounded very slow.

"Where are they then?" I said stop the footsteps next to Niel.

"At the prison in the middle of the city" he looked at me.

"So wait especially? Get me there as soon as possible."

"Both of your brothers have gone there. He ordered me to forbid you from going to jail" he said back to me.

"Both Brother? Are you kidding me? Take me there! I know they're worried about me, but I'm also involved in solving this problem" I turned my eyes to Niel.

"He'll go with me to prison. Prepare the horses for both of us!" said Niel turned his eyes to meet the Knight as well as his personal servant.

"Do it, Your Majesty," said the middle-aged man slightly bending his body with one hand crossed over his chest.

Tem, or the middle-aged man turned his body, his legs moved further away from us. Follow me, my legs turned around to follow Niel who had also walked further and further away...

"I didn't expect someone who almost killed me last night to help me today" I looked up at the black sandals she was wearing.

"I didn't do it for you. Everything I do is for the welfare of the territory I lead" he said without looking at it.

"I understand, and I understand. It's just that trusting strangers too much will destroy you. I mean, how can a leader give his stamp of power to someone who almost killed his own son."

"Losing trust, have you ever experienced it?" he said his eyes looked at me.

"If you ever trusted someone you thought was trustworthy, then he betrayed you... There's no harm, right? Give trust to a stranger who may not betray you..."

"Anyone who is afraid to see blood will not be able to kill someone. Thank you for being nice to my son" she smiled at me.
