Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCLXVI Chapter

Cia turned around to hug me, the Tiebout head Izumi had thrown before flew there and came here like a ball passed from one person to another.

Throw my head around the place, Izumi seemed to be stepping from a distance near us. In his hand, he saw a slightly large pouch held tightly.

"I accidentally killed him" said Izumi who moved to sit beside Aeneas.

"No problem. Thanks to that, we get a lot of extra money to continue the journey," said Haruki still set his sights on the fighting arena.

"So, what do we want to do next?" Izumi continued, followed by a strong sigh.

"Of course, rest. The children need a lot of rest" Haruki said back as she glanced at Cia who buried her head in my body.

Our horses stepped slowly splitting the crowd in the street, occasionally Haruki and Izumi stopped at some passers-by. If you don't point a gun at them, they'll ignore all the questions you ask.

Haruki again pulled the sword he was pointing at a man as the man pointed his hand to the right and to the left indicated the direction.

His horse walked back as the sword in his hand re-entered the wooden sheath at his waist. My horse moved in his footsteps from behind...

We rode horses following the directions of the previous men. Our horse's footsteps stopped in a two-story wooden building standing firmly in the corner of the area.

The luxurious wooden building looks crowded with visitors in it. Lodging, like that is written on a wooden board that hangs over the door of a building that is wide open.

"We will rest here" said Haruki who had moved down from his horse.

I moved my body down from the horse I was riding, and again my hands grabbed Cia who was looking at me from the same horse. Haruki walked closer while he grabbed my horse's harness by her.

I held Cia's hand very tightly while the other hand moved to pull the head covering I was wearing so as not to fall. My head turned back as I felt something gently patting my shoulder... Haruki walked past us with Eneas walking beside him.

"Are you okay?" Said Izumi who had been standing beside Cia.

"I'm fine, it's just... She was a little scared when you threw the man's head off, "I said as Izumi lowered her head and held Cia in her chest.

"Is that so? I forgot that she was not used to it," Izumi replied moving her hands tidying up the cloth that enveloped Cia's body.

"Are you sure? This place is very expensive, and also... From the news that I heard, this is not purely an inn," said Mas'ud who had suddenly walked beside Izumi.

"If it has anything to do with money? Then we will have no trouble getting it" Izumi said without glancing at him.

"Actually, who are you?" He stopped his footsteps.

We walked up to Haruki who was standing talking to a big man with a sword in his hand. Haruki turned his head towards us as his hand waved asking us to approach him.

The big man walked as we approached them. Haruki followed Aeneas moving both of his legs to follow the man's steps.

The more we went inside, the wider the building felt. A few women with trays in each of their hands downstream and downstream walked past us. This hallway was filled with many rooms with the tray-carrying women out of the wood-covered rooms around.

Our footsteps were stopped by a wide staircase in front. The entire wood used for the stairs was covered with carvings on each side.

"Call the usual" said one man who walked down the stairs, glimpsed by the large man who led us before.

The big man stepped back up the stairs. Izumi pulled my hand slowly while my head was still fixed on one of the very familiar carvings for me.

"Nii-chan," I whispered slowly as I thrust my head slightly towards her.

"What's wrong?" The answer came back very slowly.

"Did you see nii-chan?"

"See what?" The link came back to me.

"The one on the stairs. Isn't the engraving, very familiar to you," I said back to him in half a whisper.

"The one on the stairs?" Tukas Izumi directed his gaze towards the direction I was pointing with a glance at my eyes.

"Heh," he said again moving his head looking straight ahead.

"What do you think nii-chan is?"

"We'll talk about it when we get to the room. Let Haruki make the decision, however... He's our big brother" Izumi said, looking back at me.

"What are you talking about?" Haruki slightly moved his head looking back.

"It's not important. Nor is it something you should worry about," Izumi replied directing her gaze at Haruki.

Our footsteps walked down the dark, wide hallway as the stairs we climbed ran out. Small torches seemed to hang along the hallway. My grip on Izumi grew stronger, as my ears caught the deafening screams.

"This is the room you're going to occupy. Keep in mind, we have never given any guarantee of your safety here. In this place, freed to kill... So, keep your room keys away from the lurking killers... Even a wall can kill you," he said smilingly at us, knocking at the black door behind his body with a palm.
